Viggo is more than happy being single, he is stubborn but caring and determined not to fall.
He then meets Maya and he feels that she is the most beautiful woman he has ever met.
Maya made a promise to her parents. She wants some freedom before she had to go home and face her responsibilities.
Both have to make a choice and that those choices will change the course of their lives.
The FMC and MC have very good chemistry, along with some very sexy scenes. There are some emotional scenes and others are humorous.
I do like how you see how the previous characters get on with their lives after they have their own books. It is a nice continuation of their story arcs.
This is a good addition to the series.

Viggo us the last of his group if friends still a bachelor until he meets Maya, Wren's personal trainer. After one amazing night Maya has to go home as her parents have arranged a marriage. But Maya discovers the consequences of that one night and a broken condom will change her life forever as will discovering who Viggo and his family really are. I loved this and it is a great addition to the series. If you like hit and steamy books with a good story then you will love this.

This was an amazing fated mates shifter romance. I loved the relationship between the two characters I loved the side friendships between other characters this was greatly written. And dual pov.

Charmaine Louise Shelton has written a 5-star book. Viggo has been in a meeting with the accountant for the clubs he is in charge of and after he is done, he goes to one of his clubs and he sees his family and friends there. He goes up to his office and gets a drink. He looks out the glass of his office onto the ground floor and sees a woman standing next to the DJ. He has an instant attraction to her. He is known as a playboy around town. He doesn't want to settle down with just one woman yet. His wolf has other ideas and said "Mine." Viggo sees the woman talking to his sister-in-law and then gives her a hug. Maya has gone on a hike to the waterfall and when she gets there, she decides to go skinny dipping since no one is around. As she is swimming, she feels like someone is watching her, She gets out of the water and just as she reaches for her backpack, she hears a growl. She looks toward the sound and sees a large red wolf staring at her. She falls to the ground and the wolf comes toward her. He covers her with his body. She closed her eyes expecting an attack but it doesn't happen. When she opens her eyes, it is to see a pair of ice-blue eyes looking back down at her. She opens her mouth to say something and he takes this time to kiss her. She wraps her legs around him and uses her heels to pull him closer to her. He reaches between them and fists himself and in one deep thrust enters her. Hot liquid drips on the back of my neck. A searing pain robs the last bit of air from my lungs. As I pass out, he growls. “Mate!” Maya? are you listening to your father and me.? Maya is brought out of her thoughts and listens to her mother. Her mother is telling her that she is expecting her to come home and do her duty by marrying the man her father picked out for her. She doesn't want to marry someone she has only met one time but her mother insists. She tells her mother she would be home the next week. Her friends give her a going away party and Viggo doesn't know about it. When he finds out that she has left, he said that it was for the best since he was not going to put his mate in danger by turning her. Viggo talks to his brother, Jagger and he is told to go and talk to her and find out what she wants. Viggo gets a security team to keep a watch over Maya since he can't get to her for a few days. Things get going fast when he finds out that she is engaged now. When Maya starts getting sick, she goes to the doctor and finds out she is pregnant. When she comes out of the doctor's office, she faints. One of the guys that Viggo has watching her, helps her and then takes her home. She calls Wren and tells her about her pregnancy and she is told to take the day and think about what she wants to happen. Viggo gets word about Maya being pregnant and he needs to be with her. He goes to talk to Jagger and tells him what is going on. Jagger gets permission to enter another Alpha's area for Viggo. When Viggo gets on the helicopter he tells the pilot to go but he just waits. The door opens and Jagger, Wren, Tag, and Dylan get on. Viggo wants to know what they are doing there. Jagger tells him that they are not letting him do this alone. Things don't go the way that Viggo wants at first. Maya goes on a hike and things go wrong for her. She is walking back but she hears a growl and standing in front of her is a bear. It stands up on its hind legs and growls. Before she knows what is going on, there are five wolves there attacking the bear. One of the wolves gets between her and the bear. The wolves take the bear down and kill it. Viggo goes to her and wraps his arms around her and she fights him. He tells her that it is him and she seems to calm down. He tells her that they are going to go down the trail when the others take care of the bear. They go to the hotel that Viggo and the others are staying at. Once there they have a talk. Viggo gets her to agree to go back to Miami with him. Someone has taken pictures of Maya coming out of the doctor's office and writes a story about it. When Maya sees the story, she goes to see her parents. Things don't go so well and her parents are upset with her and say things to her that hurt her. The only one who stands up for her is her brother Patricio. Viggo tells her parents that she is going to go with him and that he will take care of her and their baby. On the way back to Miami, Viggo gets Maya to rest. When they get to his home, she is shocked by what she sees. She has only seen his penthouse. She asked if that was his house and he said that that was their house now.
Will things work out between Maya and Viggo?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Viggo is the prince of the Miami billionaire pack. He is known for being a playboy and has no intentions of finding his mate even if he is tired of being the ninth wheel. Viggo hopes that he will find his mate years down the road and that she will be a shifter. After seeing what it is like for a human mate to transition after being mated, he doesn't want to put anyone through that. Fate has other plans. When he goes to meet his pack at a club run night club, he finds his mate, his human mate Maya. His wolf is thrilled but Viggo is determined not to mate her. He settles for one night of passion and then goes his seperate way. However his wolf isn't giving up. Viggo decides to stalk his mate on social media and learns that she has returned to South America and has gotten engaged. Claiming his mate has suddenly become way more important.

Maya comes from a very wealthy and powerful family in South America. She made a deal with her parents that if their allow her her freedom to go to college in the States and explore life until she turns 25, then she will willingly return home to the arranged marriage her family chose. Maya is the best friend of Wren. Maya doesn't know that Wren has become a wolf shifter and found a mate. She just knows that Wren and her boyfriend are so in love. Maya has been having weird dreams about a red wolf who changes into a man. She wishes it could happen in real life but her parents have just summoned her home. She decides to meet her best friend at a night club for one last night of fun. While she is there she meets Viggo. Viggo is hot and sexy and oh so tempting. Maya agrees to one night of passion and what a night it is. However during one encounter the condom broke but since she just had her period Maya figures she is safe. Soon Maya finds herself home and engaged to a man who turns her stomach in a business merger/engagement. Soon she discovers he's not the only thing that makes her stomach. She learns that she is pregnant.

He Let Her Get Away!

Maya had promised her family after she’d had some freedom that she would return home and settle down. One night of passion with Viggo would never be enough but she had to go home which is when things got really complicated for her as she’s just found out she’s pregnant.

Viggo denied his Wolf and would not mate with Maya but now he wants her with a passion and will do anything to claim his mate.

Fantastic story which has it all! You'll simply love this story!

Viggo was a playboy and didn’t want a mate until he smelled her. Maya had to go back home to marry the man her family picked for her. They decided to have a great one night but when she left his wolf was fighting him to get her back. One of his friends wife was her friend and gave him her name so he looked her up when he found out that she was going to get married, he went to his brother about her being his mate and needed his help because she also was pregnant. They went and convinced her that Viggo was the one for her but couldn’t give her the claiming bite until the baby was born. Good book!.

Viggo and Maya are everything! I wanted Viggo’s story and boy was it great. He didn’t know what he was missing with finding his fated mate and was smacked in the face with his forever after. Maya is a headstrong, protective, loyal woman who didn’t know that Viggo could be all she could ever want in a partner. Great storyline with good plot twists. Sentimentality and love were throughout it. And the passion was hot. This was just great. I cannot wait for the next.

Viggo The Obsession is the next story in the saga of the Billionaire Wolves of Miami. Viggo is the younger brother of Jagger and a self-avowed playboy; he has watched his friends and brother fall in love and does not want to be in their shoes. Charmaine Louise Shelton continues to use the framework of the wolf pack and fated mates, but each story has a fresh perspective. We first met Maya Alejandra Perez Garcia in Tag’s story. She is a human and has no clue about shifter life. She comes from a wealthy family and is soon to return home for an arranged marriage. One of the last things Maya does before she returns home for good is to have a romantic encounter with Viggo. She is extremely attracted to him but does not realize that this attraction goes so much deeper. Viggo on the other hands is aware that she belongs to him but is willing to let her go in order to keep her safe! But will he truly be able to let her go and walk away from happiness? I really enjoyed Viggo and Maya’s story.

Plot: Viggo is happy with his life as a playboy wolf shifter and swears he wants nothing to do with a mate. That's true up until he finds his mate. But he's decided to let her go because she's human and he doesn't want to risk her life. But once she leaves, he might change his mind.

Commentary: I felt like the conflict (her moving home, getting engaged, and then finding out she was pregnant with Viggo's baby) was resolved so easily and then the second half of the book was just them having lots of sex. I guess I like a conflict that drives the plot (rather than the smut driving the plot - I want the smut, of course, but I need a plot as well) so that something is actually happening. There was so much exposition in the second half of the book that it got a bit boring. I think the previous book was better in that regard. So maybe this just wasn't for me.
Also, there are a lot of exclamation points and all the women giggle a lot.

Viggo is the younger brother to the Alpha of the Billionaire Wolves of Miami. He is perfectly fine with his playboy ways but a small part of him wants the happiness he sees with his best friends and brother as they have all found their fated mates. Viggo has been trying to prove to everyone that he can be serious and has grown up.

While watching the crowd from his office above one of the exclusive clubs under his care he catches sight of Maya dancing on a platform near the DJ. He is immediately transfixed by her beauty and sensuality. He decided that she will be his bed partner for the night.

Entering the main club he is suddenly overwhelmed by the scent of his fated mate. She just happens to be the best friend to one of his friends mates. She also happens to be his worst fear...human.

Maya has been enjoying her life knowing that eventually her family will force her to return home to an arranged marriage to a man she has never met. When she gets the call demanding she comes home she decides to go out and enjoy the time with her best friend. The allure of a handsome stranger who happens to be someone her friend knows will lead to the best night of her life but will it also be the worst?

Note: if you have read book 1 there are descriptions of wolf lore and places that are exactly the same in every one of the books as if they copied and pasted the description from 1 book to the next. Each love story is different with it's own set of challenges.

Maya is the daughter of an elite, although controlling, family in Venezuela. Before doing as her family asks and returning to Venezuela for an arranged marriage, Maya decides to go out with a bang on her last night. However, her one-night stand with Viggo leads to Maya getting pregnant with a wolf shifter’s baby.
This was an easy read which I liked. The background info was detailed enough to make me understand but also short enough that it wasn’t boring or didn’t take up too much time. I felt that the book's first half, which was plot and spice, was more enjoyable than the second half. The second half is mostly all spice with Maya’s pregnancy journey, and Viggo tries to convince Maya to accept his claiming bite.

It was fascinating see the Viggo Larson, prince of the Miami wolfs meet his fated mate, Wren's best friend, Maya Alejandra Perez Garcia. Her parents have arranged a marriage for her, she knows her destine to marry and join these two oil families. Her heart wants what it wants, but can she go against her family? I love how these men once they see there fated mates will go to any lengths to convince them to belong to them. Things are a little more complicated with her being human and definitely more dangerous than previous human conversions. A captivating story of a romance that knows no boundaries whether human or a shifter. I have voluntarily read and reviewed this amazing story!

Maya is a human who has one last night of freedom before she returns home to her family for her arranged marriage and her life becomes not her own anymore. While Viggo is the Prince of his pack, playboy and focusing hard on his career to get the recognition he craves. He’s watched others from the pack find their fated mates and just couldn’t care less or see himself changing in those ways… until it happens.
I am not a huge fan of shifter books, personally. So there was a few spots where I just couldn’t get into it! BUT I very much enjoyed the story line otherwise and I really liked her writing style!
I think those who are big on shifters and wolves they would reallllyyyy enjoy this book!

I really enjoyed this paranormal series, I eagerly went from book 1-2-more and raced through them. I like strong men who need a strong woman and good defeating evil. They have one hot night together and then she has to return to Venezuela to complete a business marriage for her father's ambitions. Things get interesting when Viggo finds out she's pregnant and he goes to claim his Fated Mate along with his soon to be born baby. They return to Miami and commit to each other. Once the baby is born the discussion of her turning into a wolf shifter starts. Of course she does and they live happily ever after! Lots of open door sex in case that's a good/bad for you.

This was a very interesting story and the first I have read by this author. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters and see not only the dynamic between Viggo and Maya but also the interactions between the other family members as well. This was a very intriguing and fast paced read that I would highly recommend. Thank you to Nerdy Girls Collective for the opportunity to read and review this book.

This book is right up my usual reading alley. It was a quick and easy read for me. I quite enjoyed the story and the characters. It was fast paced and I actually enjoyed how quickly the story progressed. I loved the bonds that the shifters all shared and how it was a tight knit family feel.
