Eh.... 10-15 of these were funny.... the rest.... well... at least it was a fast read. Chuckles here and there... I also hoped for a couple more 2000+ movies but nah...

It's nice. Something easy to laugh about.
But I knew (or well, knew of) half of the movies. I wish they would have included more than one movie made after 1999.
Thee book includes 99 movies; each one is presented in the same manner: title, year and 4 little pictures summing up the plot.
My favorite ones were probably the Wizard of Oz and Star Wars.

I like when book is very comprehensive and use sparse words to describe action...this is essence of what you meant by accurate and descriptive squeezed in to the four panels. The classic movies are hilariously described. I was laughing my ass off. When I found my favorites movies in such format. Go for Matrix :)

Um dos piores livros que me dei ao trabalho de ler, pois ainda se fosse para o que diz o título, mas não, é a opinião pessoal do autor sobre cada filme que aborda em 4 tiras, supostamente cómicas, mas não me ri, nem achei engraçado uma única vez. Achei que o autor é mentalmente doente e quem concordou em tornar isto um livro, também não devia estar sã ou são mentalmente. E já agora, uma coisa era terem tornado isto um livro, no país do autor, mas porquê darmo-nos ao trabalho de traduzirmos para a nossa língua, numa editora que gostava bastante :(

Um livro com uns cartoons muito sugestivos e apelativos, com textos a acompanhar muito acessíveis, com uma forma muito "à pressa" de abordar cada um dos filmes presentes no livro, e nem sei mais o que dizer sinceramente, adorei mesmo o livro.
Vale muito a pena, lê muito bem mesmo, foi um livro ideal para mim, uma vez que a minha vida nestas 2 últimas semanas foram assim "muito à pressa" =)
Recomendado 100%, a quem gosta de cinema e tem um vasto conhecimento na área (que é o meu caso) e para quem não tem, leia este livro também que vai achar muito engraçado, não só pelos cartoons presentes, mas também pelas conclusões das histórias dadas pelo nosso autor. Muito bom!

Rozpustilá knížka pro uspěchané lidi, kteří nemají čas koukat na filmy. Každému filmu je zde věnována stránka komiksového zpracování, kde se dozvídáme hlavní náplň filmu, občas s vtipnou poznámkou pro zasvěcené. Např. Terminátor (1984): … ale Terminátor Sáru nezabije. I když lidstvu se přece jen pomstí, když se stane guvernérem Kalifornie. :-D Humor, který rozhodně není pro každého.
