After I witnessed what my best friend went through, I swore it would never happen to me. But that's when it happens, doesn't it? You get drunk, meet a hot guy with so many tattoos you wonder where the rest are, and sleep with him, hard. Multiple times in one night. Suddenly, that sworn oath turns into a curse word. I'm pregnant. And I never said the hot guy I met was nice.
Ash
I'm nobody's fool. I'm rich, I'm hot as hell, and women sleep with me for both. It's not like I mind, since we both get something out of it. One thing they'll never touch, though, is my checkbook. I may have a ton of wealth, but I don't have a lot of trust. Then I meet Sophie. She's spunky. Blond. Loves whiskey and my tats. Next thing we do, is make it to my bed, and we don't get out of it until I'm sure she's satisfied. I might've done a bit more than that, though. This hot piece just told me she's knocked up with my baby.
CRAVING YOU is a steamy, angsty, enemies-to-lovers, and can be read as a standalone. It is Book 3 in the Players to Lovers Series, where each novel is about a different couple.
Unexpected pregnancy stories (when done right) are my crack. I had such high hopes for this one, but it just didn't give me the "feels" I was hoping for. Sadly, I just didn't connect with either character.
I was looking for pregnancy trope books and tumbled upon this one. This book was so sad. The struggles we see them face and the characters are beautiful. They deserve the best. Sophie is such a quick and adorable character. I love how she’s all nerdy. She hides behind her secret of being a virgin. She makes everyone believe she’s comfortable with her sexuality, but she has never been able to find someone she wanted. Until she meets Ash. Oh my goodness, he’s dreamy. The tattooed chef player. I feel for her and her pain of her past. She drops a major secret on Ash that no one knows about her. I feel for her and how she feels for it. And when she has to confront it, it only made me more sad for her. Ash is such easygoing character, until he finds out that the one night stand with Sophie is resulted in a pregnancy. I feel so much for this character. He struggles with wanting to do the right thing. He doesn’t want to get involved with the baby. He doesn’t want to be part of his life because of what his childhood entitled. He made me frustrated because he clearly had feelings for Sophie and was curious about the baby, but doesn’t want to ruin them. When he does finally come to his sense it melts my heart. This book was sad for the most part, but it had its moments of swooning. I loved the story, I just wish there was a second book on them because for the majority of the book they were a part and I wanted to see them interact as a couple and as parents more. Still recommend, especially if you love pregnancy tropes.
Possible spoilers.. 🤷 Surprise/unexpected pregnancy books are my crack. This book however, was not. Ash was an utter jackass until the last chapter. He literally does NOTHING for her during her pregnancy. I never felt they really connected, and there was ZERO conflict resolution with his family. Ash should have been punched in the nutsack multiple times by their friends. And the whole virgin secret thing. Oi vey.
The only part I really liked was that the baby they had was a boy. EVERY book I read, it's always "daddies little girl" 🙄🙄🙄::puke::
This was a good read. Sophie and Ash have a one night stand. Of course she ends up pregnant. At first I thought Ash was being a jerk about it. However, after meeting his family I could definitely see why he thought the way that he did. Thankfully in the end he came to his senses.
Pleasantly surprised in this book. Some aspects of it I really enjoyed but others I was left puzzled with as I tried to understand how or why they were even a part of the story. One part that bothered me was about the brother. Why was that last encounter needed in the evolving relationship?
Crave Me Now us the third book in the Players to Lovers series by SK Allison. Accidental Pregnancy from a ONS, best friend boy/girl group, a very slow burn with one spicy scene and a HFN ending. The cover and excerpt convinced me to borrow this book and to say I was disappointed is the truth. The MCs frustrated me throughout, hero made it abundantly clear he didn't want the heroine or the baby, until the next to last chapter he suddenly changes his mind. This book had so much potential too...
Sophie Addison wanted her V card gone and one drunken night she chose her crush, New York's hottest chef, Ash Whittaker, to take it.
Three months later she tells him she's pregnant and he tells her he doesn't want to be a father. This causes tension in the friend group.
Ash opens his new restaurant, ignores Sophie and continues on with his life. Sophie says goodbye.
Sophie is ready to give birth and Ash shows up at her baby shower because of an ultimatum his father gave him. He's ready to lose everything if she will just let him in their lives...
Sophie and Ash are my new favorite couple of the Players to Lovers series! I loved these characters and their stories. I can't get enough of all of them and cant wait for Easton's book. This book had it all for me and would totally recommend. I mean what's not to love when you have a sexy, tattooed bad boy chef?
5STARS I love this book, it's a pleasant surprise because this is my first read from the author and i didn't know what i will get in the end. Sophie and Ash's story is about forgiving,second-chances and new beginnings. Ash is such alpha in some moments asshole but damn he was one hot alpha hero. All in all amazing book with great writing and good character and story development.
I didn’t think Ash was ever gonna get it together, but then I started paying a little more attention and I realized that he had been working on it the whole book, whether he knew it or not. Sophie was SUCH a strong character in SO many ways. I was surprised by how much I really did like this one, and now I’ll have to go back and start the series off the right way.
At the end of Daring You, we found out some shocking news about Sophie, unfortunately, for Ash he didn’t take it so well. There were a lot of ups and downs between Ash and Sophie and their families, you really feel bad for them. I didn’t hate Ash, but I didn’t agree with his actions; everyone could see he had feelings for Sophie but he was too blinded by his past to see it.
I wanted Sophie to make Ash work for her forgiveness more instead of the quick acceptance. I would have loved an epilogue showing them as a family or at minimum Ash and Sophie as a couple; the ending felt a bit abrupt.
What happened with Ash’s restaurant?
Why does Marcela stay working for Ash’s parents?
Was Michael a sociopath?
I wonder what lies ahead for Easton :)
There were chapter duplication errors in chapters 11 and 24.
This was a great book written by Ketley Allison,,,, a new author for me,,,, and I will keep reading her books after this,,,,
Sophie Addison is a 24 year old whose best friend and ex roommate is Carter Jameson,,,, the 2 girls were inseparable when they both lived in Florida,,, but now Sophie lives in Florida and Carter is with her boyfriend in New York City and her man has a little girl by his deceased girlfriend, a best friend of Carter's that asked Carter to help take care of Lily when Lily's mom died, leaving Lily with Sophie and Carter,,,, Carter moved to New York to be with baby daddy,,,, Sophie visits New York frequently, but this time, she meets Asher Whittaker,,,, the big celebrity chef who is opening his own restaurant,,,, and he sure looks fine to Sophie,,,,, they find themselves alone, together and then a few weeks later she has one more suprise for Ash,,,, she's pregnant,,,,,
Asher Whittaker is a celebrity chef who is opening his own restautrant " APRON" ,,, he has parents who are very rich,,,, but they don't approve of his occupation,,,, as dad feels he should be in the company business,,,, Ash has no want for that or the money they have,,, and now that he knows about the pregnancy,,,, he decides he wouldn't be a good father,,,, and now that Ash's parents have found out about Sophie,,,, they are going to get even with Ash,,,, somehow,,,,,
This was a good book by a very new to me author,,,,,, this book was fun to read,,, and it left me wanting more of these 2 characters,,,, I would so totally recommend this book to anyone,,,,,
Sophie decides, for a number of reasons, that she wants a one-night-stand with Asher. She has no illusions that he's good for anything else, and they both were happy to leave it at that once morning came. Except that Asher couldn't get his mind off Sophie, and Sophie couldn't get her mind off the pregnancy test a few weeks later. Determined not to rewrite their rules of engagement, she notifies him of his impending fatherhood but quickly assures him she doesn't expect anything from him except that he be a father to his child. Unfortunately, that's the one thing Asher simply can't do.
This is an emotionally exhausting romance, as these two battle both their insatiable chemistry and their incompatible feelings about parenthood. I was drawn in right from the start - from the ending of the previous book, Daring You, actually - and I couldn't put this book down until I got to the very satisfying HEA.
Both Sophie and Ash have huge, life-altering secrets in their pasts, and the whole crux of their relationship is determined by how each of them responded to these tragic circumstances. They've got a long, uphill battle to find their way to each other and only a few months' time in which to do it. It's one of the best accidental-pregnancy stories I've ever read. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Ash is a self-made man...bad boy, chef, millionaire. Sophie has recreated herself and has managed to become a strong, independent woman.
One night of bad decisions will change both of their lives forever. Despite using protection, Sophie finds herself pregnant after an alcohol and lust-filled night with Ash. She finally gets up the nerve to tell him and is devastated by his unwillingness to play any role in their child's life.
What neither of them knows is that they are both running from their pasts. While Sophie is willing to try to look to the future to raise her baby, Ash is so trapped by his abuse-filled history that he is bound by his past.
Ash is the quintessential bad boy - tatted and self-absorbed. However, the reader gets to observe his struggle to open himself up and try to create a truly happy life for himself and those he cares about. It is this struggle that redeems his character and makes him sympathetic. Sophie is feisty and strong in her own right, with a quirkiness that is entertaining. I became invested in both and finished this book in a single sitting due to the deeply emotional themes of the story and the characters' reactions to their circumstances.
Loved this next installment in the series and really enjoyed getting to understand Ash's character a bit better. Five stars for this bad boy romance.
There is something about how these books have been written that makes them very easy to become fully engaged and invested in just a few short pages. I remember when I read Trusting You, the first book in the series I was moved by these characters and what they were going through, but I also remember feeling the writing could use a little better editing. Well I can't say that this time. This book was top notch all the way. Great well defined characters with layers of hurt that made for an emotional reading experience as each layer was peeled back. I loved how Sophie didn't let the kicks to the gut life kept giving her make her weak. She is a strong female carving out the best life that she can. Ash has lived a life of privilege but not a life of love. Physically and mentally abused by his parents, specifically his father Ash was lost in an emotional mine filed without a map or guide of experience to get him through. Once Sophie reveals her bombshell news to him he is more lost than ever. The journey these to take separately, leads them both to a future they each deserve. I wonderfully told tale. I highly recommend this one.

Why is this rated over 4 stars on here? Y’all delusional sometimes istg.
This book is a “romance” there was zero romance. It was a book about the female mc being abandoned by the male mc after getting pregnant at a one night stand (which is when she lost her virginity at 24). The entire time he’s like “no I absolutely don’t want kids” and she’s like begging for scraps of his attention and he’s like “I’ll financially support you but want nothing else” and she’s like “well if I can’t have everything I want nothing waaaaaah”
Anyway, that’s 90% of the book. Then at the end they get back together… there’s about 2 pages where these people are actually a couple… in the entire romance book. Otherwise they’re not speaking / she’s begging for him to talk to her.
In addition to this, there was a super weird school shooter plot that had no place in this book and was so random. Those pages should’ve been used instead for maybe making the “main characters” talk to eachother 😂
Also, stop saying “tatted” and “tats” people with tattoos do not say that. Men with a single barbwire tattoo that hit on me at the gas station say that. Nobody else. Heavily tattooed people do not say or like those terms, they’re cringe as hell.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I really enjoyed this story about Ash and Sophie. Ash is a rich bad boy that had been her dream guy for a long time. Sophie and Ash have mutual friends and after a night of drinking, she gives into temptation and sleeps with Ash, losing her v card in the process. Ash is trying to open a new restaurant with his friends as investors. But he's distracted with thoughts of Sophie. When she finds out she's pregnant, she fights the urge to let Ash know, since he's a one night stand kind of guy. But with Sophie is different. Both are dealing with things that haunt them from their past, things they think will ruin the chance at happiness and to raise a happy baby. Even when faced with his obnoxiously rich parents Sophie stands on hey Ken two feet. I like how they both realize they need each other to be happy and the journey to get there. Love isn't always roses and the trip messy, but when you find it and work at it, then it's all worth while. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Ketley Allison is a new author to me and I will be looking out for more from this author especially if her books are like this one it’s absolutely fantastic I love it. Ash is rich he’s a chef and he likes his women but he doesn’t trust them he thinks that they are out for his money, he doesn’t want a relationship and he doesn’t give his trust out too easily but that all changes with Sophie. Sophie likes bad boys with tattoos she spots Ash and she wants him for a one night stand, Sophie is supposed to be off limits to Ash but that’s not going to make much difference to him he doesn’t like being told what not to do so they both agree to one night together. A few weeks later Sophie finds out that she is pregnant she tells Ash that she doesn’t want anything from him just to be there for their child but Ash believes that he can’t even do that and that is thanks to his parents and his past. Wow this is an amazing emotional story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
It CRAVEs on your EMOTIONS!❤ A moving well executed read that takes you on one heck of an emotional ride that gives you the feels you want in search of a perfect soul searing read. The writing is exquisite it keeps you engaged with a realistic aspect to it so relatable that you get lost in the words and the feelings the instill in you I find rare and the fact that you don't have the same words shoved at you trying to convince you of whatever point they are trying to instill in you by reading the same words over and over again like some writers tend to do as if your not smart enough to have picked up on it the first time you read it. Well you don't ever get that in Ketley's books. There unique without any repeats! Get it and read it you will become a fan of hers as well. Engrossing twists and tantalizing passionate chemistry.

Wow! If you’re looking for a light romance, this is not the story for you! Filled with emotional drama and heartache for both Ash and Sophie as this storyline is filled with heart wrenching scenes. The actual time spent between the main couple is brief as it starts off as a one night stand that turns into a pregnancy. The romance in this story is deep and encompassing though. Ash doesn’t want anything to do with the baby or with Sophie, but not for the typical reasons. Sophie has secrets of her own the finally come out at the end. My heart broke for their tragic past family history as the author creates some pretty serious emotional turmoil for both Sophie and Ash. I loved the emotional support of friends and family that surrounded Sophie. I hated Ash’s parents. Well written emotional romance that was fast paced and heart felt.

This book were really frusterating, but at the same time it really showed a side of a one night stand turned into pregnancy doesn’t always mean that the father drops everything and they are at least engaged at the end of the book. I am a book-cryer and I never cried of frustration or anger before. I don’t get how you live on with your life as before knowing that somewhere there is someone that’s pregnant with your child. I know that the father of the baby can choose to not be a part of the childs life if the mother wants to keep it and the father doesn’t, so he had every right to do what he did. But this fiction and that means being thrown into situations like this that makes you cry of frustration and anger. I liked that the book had the whole pregnancy in it and didn’t stop at 4 months and had an epiologe when the kid were 2 years old. It would have been nice to have a small epiologe at least to get some closure about the move, resturant and so on…

Okay so Im more of a spicy dark romance girl but every now and then I just need a cute mellow book that gives me the warm and fuzzies! This book had that cute warm and fuzzies while being tragic at the same time. I enjoyed reading this book very much. As my first book by this author I didn’t read the other books attached which maybe I should have just to learn a little about the other side characters in this book. The reason why this book was only a 3 out of 5 for me was because I wish it more detailed it kinda felt too rushed, like you didn’t really get to know the characters. The whole pregnancy was rushed and other then the beginning their wasn’t even a doctor’s visit. I also wish their was a prologue of the night they had sex and not just small snippets of the night throughout the book. I also think there should have been an epilogue on the future of what happened especially with Ash’s dad. A little extra spicy would have made it better as well.
Oh this was the perfect quick read! 📖✨ I couldn’t put it down — finished it in just a few hours because once it started, it had me completely hooked.
I don’t know where this entanglement entangled me, but whew… it was so worth it! 😮💨💫
Sophie & Ash both carry traumatic pasts that would normally have anyone running in the opposite direction and never looking back. But somehow, through all the pain, the fear, and the emotional walls they built to survive… they find the strength to face it all together. And that’s what makes their love hit even harder. ❤️🔥
Watching them turn their broken pieces into something powerful and real was everything. What could’ve pushed them apart actually became the reason they fought for each other. 🥹
For such a short read, this story packed one hell of an emotional punch. The connection, the vulnerability, the healing — it all just worked.
Very good read by Ketley Allison. Craving You is about Sophie and Asher. After a night at the bar with her best friend, Sophie wants just one night with Asher. She is under no illusions about it being more than a one night stand. However, after she returns to Florida she learns their one night had consequences. She decides the right thing to do is to tell Asher about the pregnancy. His reaction is not what she was hoping for and she is devastated but determined to raise her child on her own. Thanks to his childhood and his numerous relationships, he knows he cannot be a dad. However, he can't get Sophie out of his head. He eventually convinces Sophie to come back with him to New York. Sophie also has her own secrets that I will not spoil. Awesome read that will keep you reading to the very last page.
Book 3 n the Players Box set Sophie, ex roommate of Carter from book 1 meets Ash and decides she's gotta have him. A one night stand that has life long consequences of which Ash wants no part of other than monetary. Hurt, but not surprised Sophie will go on with her decisions. I did applaud Sophie for seeing that you can't force someone to be something they are not, but instead helps Ash deal with his demons - and boy does he have some. Sophie is not without demons of her own and I did like that the Author did not sugarcoat said demons. This book seemed to be the most incomplete of the 3 so far, in that Ash's issues are not dealt with also not dealt with was the inference of Ash's womanizing after Sophie, that not being addressed was strange and Easton, the rock star who is the 4th player , left no clues as to where his book is going.
Such an amazing story in this series. Craving You, Book 3 of the Players to Lovers Series by author Ketley Allison is perhaps the most over the top emotional story I’ve so far. The protagonists, Sophie and Ash go thru such angst-filled trials and tribulations as a result of their one night stand. Their past resurfaces and smacks them in the face, forces them to deal with childhood issues before moving on with their lives. Their friends from the first two books continue to provide emotional support and play important roles in this book, especially Aster and Carter. This is such a wonderful book that I’m definitely recommending it for your reading enjoyment and am leaving this review for your consideration.
I was really looking forward to this story. And I really did like it, but honestly there seemed to be a lot missing. So much time was spent with is trying to process his issues and brothers past, that the relationship development was lost. I tend to fixate in little things at times and I wasn’t a fan of how the author didn’t specify about Ash’s sex life. At the beginning of the pregnancy there was a comment made about how he had had not interest in other women since sleeping with Sophie, then it trails off. When she hints to him about his sleeping with other women, he didn’t address it even though there is no other mention of him with another woman in the entire book. It would have added to the story and their relationship to have it spelt out.
Before to start reading have at hand the whole stack of tissues. This story made me cry so much, it was packed with all kind of emotions. It is even hard to describe all of them. It was very hard for me to put the book down when I had to go to sleep. I loved every single word in this book. For me this is perfect and excellent story. Perfectly developed characters and excellent plot. My heart was shattered by Ash all along with Sophie's but fortunately in the course of the events author has put it back together delivering unexpected, heartwarming ending. It is my first book of this author but now I know I was missing out not reading all the previous books. Can't wait to read others in the series and can't wait for final instalment.
This is my first Playboy to Lovers and it was amazing! Sophia and Ash’s story truly touched my heart. A one night stand and a baby between these two made both of them grow and get past their demons. I wanted to punch Ash, push his snotty parents off a cliff, and just hug Sophia. And don’t get me started on the epilogue, which btw was one of the best I’ve ever read. What a wonderful read and urge you all to give it a try.
“Is it pink.. or not pink? Tell me the fucking truth, pee stick.”
“Are we really going to have this conversation through a door? Your neighbors looking at me funny?” “The one who puts a cat on a leash?” “The very one.” “Then look at her funny right back.” “Soph, please let me in.”
