Usually I don't read autobiographies, but here I couldn't help it :) I was rather curious to know something about this talented man, and wanted to know it all at first hand, and so decided to read 'Jihaku'.
I wasn't disappointed. It has many interesting facts in it and there are descriptions of some major events that have influenced Gackt's life. Those events are presented not in a chronological order, which makes it even more interesting to read the book - there's always something interesting and unexpected waiting for you around the corner.
And even now I don't consider him weird :)) Even when he talks about his former car and his feelings towards it I can totally understand him - I feel the same way towards my gadgets and my boyfriend's car :)) And the thing of him talking to dead people also doesn't really make me make round eyes and ask whether he is crazy or not. I'm quite sure there are some things out there that can't be explained - maybe this is just the case.
I was also glad to know how he learned to play all those instruments that he can play now. Gosh! He is so stubborn, so purposeful, so ready to fight whatever battle he is faced with that I just can't help but respect him.
Lol what a tell-all. Everything. Everything in this man's life, from gambling to fame to masturbation. All in this compact little book. Kind of hilarious... accidentally.
