Remember - A Little Book of Courage, Comfort and Hope

Rate this book
Bestselling author Paul Boynton is back with a new book that will encourage, inspire, and motivate you and help get you thru the speed bumps and unexpected curves that are part of any life. Most people struggle with finding balance in their lives and it’s often difficult to follow our hearts when we are busy managing our lives, taking care of others, and paying bills, and juggling a to-do list that is often overwhelming. Boynton writes from the heart and speaks the truth. “I know what it’s like to feel happy, safe, focused, secure, productive, and grounded. And I know how it feels to be lonely, scared, confused, anxious, scattered, and uncertain. I know what it’s like to be shaken to the core, stuck, sad and worried. I’ve had easy times, and harder times, good days, and not-so-good days. I’ve had successes and victories, and I’ve made mistakes and taken wrong turns, just like you. You see, you and I have a lot in common. And although we may live different lives and have different realities to deal with, we share so much when it comes to living imperfect lives.” Over 2 million people from around the world have co-created “Begin with Yes” - a powerful community of everyday people stepping up to more meaningful and authentic lives, finding purpose, and making dreams come true. It’s also a place where mutual support and inspiring and hopeful messages are shared to help remind us of our resiliency and strength, even during the storms that are part of every life. Remember – A little Book of Courage, Comfort and Hope is an easy to read, thoughtful and personal diary of encouraging observations and thoughts that blend optimism with a grounded-in-reality honesty to remind you that storm clouds always pass, your dreams do count, and you are here to live a purposeful, peaceful life, no matter what challenges you face or what difficulties you must move through.

Life Doesn’t Come With an Instruction Book … Or Does It?

I am not a stranger to the writings of Paul Boynton, his first book Begin With Yes led me on a journey I did not think was possible in my life. It was a blueprint for the necessary steps I needed to take to overcome the inertia in my life.

Today I made a cup of tea, downloaded the Kindle version of this new book (mostly because I am impatient and did not want to wait for it to arrive in the mail) and began reading. As the pages filled my heart, the wheels of my mind started turning, and my tea grew cold as the pages enveloped me.

Some of the pages were great reminders of the things I have already conquered, other pages brought to light the things I still need to work on. This book is yet another blueprint, a very gentle and positive way of showing you how to move forward from whatever it is in your life that is holding you back and keeping you from being the amazing person that you already are.

To say thank you to you Paul for this book (and your previous books) does not seem adequate to relay the depth of gratitude that I feel. Although I have never met you in person I do feel like we know each other through some shared experiences and I would love to sit and chat over coffee some day!

Savor Each Moment

This book is for everyone. It is not a book to read quickly but rather to enjoy each page completely. It is a book that truly imparts hope and love, both of ourselves as well as others. I plan to reread each page so I can savor the message the author is expressing. It is clearly a well written book that not only touched my heart, but also encouraged me to become the best version of myself. Definitely a 5 star book!

I’ve been reading a few pages each night at bedtime, and have found this book to be so calming and reassuring. It puts me in a nice accepting and positive mindset right before sleeping, which is ordinarily a time that I tend to experience anxious thoughts and make mental lists of worries. For this reason, I think I’ll be keeping it on my nightstand and reading it in perpetuity… and also buying copies to give to loved ones. So grateful to have found this beautiful little book 💕

"Remember" is a book filled with messages of support - and kick in the pants here and there - all in an effort to remind you what a wonderful human being you are.

Its chapters offer reinforce the point that it all begins with you, along with hefty doses of encouragement and positive reinforcement. I dog-eared (sorry, Toby) many pages with messages that I needed to hear today, some I wished I'd heard in the past, and several I know I'll refer to again in the future.

Paul's writing continues to be a source of inspiration and I purposely saved his new book to start off the new year on a positive note. It truly is a little book of "courage, comfort and hope."

I just read the eBook version of this, it's Paul Boynton's newest lifesaver of a book if you've read his Begin with Yes or belong to that group on FB, Paul talks openly in his books and online about coming out, and as a trained counselor he's very encouraging with advice about overcoming adversity whether you're an Ally, as I am, or LGBTQIA+. It's a fast, inspiring, heartwarming read that will have you thinking with clarity about what it means to be your real self. Highly recommend!
