Lookout Gerri Wilder cause there are a couple of ladies taking the reins with you on vacation and one of them is a LOVE Goddess. Don't worry though Shifting Hearts Dating Agency is just getting started.
This was a fun fast paced story. I really enjoyed it. This was my first hedgehog shifter, and she refers to herself as a hedgie. And her hedgie always poking her, and rolling into a ball. How cute is that. Throw in a hot gorgeous cat, and a bad boy biker bear, and you've got yourself quite the trio!
I just wish this had been a tad longer and that it had more of a storyline, I would have enjoyed reading more about these guys.

Lucas and Jonathan (a cat shifter and a bear shifter) are fated mates. Their relationship is almost perfect. The only thing missing is a third, a female, who will also be their mate. This female is Natalie, a hedgehog shifter.
This is a nice story but I had some issues with it.
The sex between Lucas and Jonathan was written extremely well. Their first meeting is described in detail, along with the sex that comes immediately after. I really liked the two guys together. The sex between the men and Natalie was also written well, though it felt rushed. I liked the three together. So, what was the problem? There wasn’t enough of them together. There’s so much backstory for the men, the dating agency, the BDSM club, and Natalie that not enough time was allowed for the three once they got together. It was rushed while the other stuff wasn’t. There may be more of Natalie, Lucas, and Jonathan in the other books, but I have no way of knowing that. I also had a major problem with the book ending at 75% on my Kindle and moving on to an excerpt (I think? I didn’t read it) from the next book in the series. I thought I still had plenty of story left when I didn’t. Just a few more pages added would’ve upped my rating substantially.
It's a nice read but I'm undecided if I'll be continuing with the series.

More, please!
This was my first Erzabet book, but this will not be my last!
While half of this book wasn't my cup of tea, the book as a whole was very well written and the story flowed smoothly. I absolutely loved it. Erzabet did an excellent job of writing the love that existed among the characters, and that's what has me wanting to reed more!
Oh, and if you like smoking hot books, you might just love this one too!
That, and some hilarious comments spoken here and there by the characters gave me a perfect glimpse of her writing style, and I am now a big fan!!!

This novella is a perfect read to warm you on a cold night. It's set around a dating agency for paranormal beings. We get a mixture of shifters, and Megan is a hedgehog! I find it amusing and intriguing when they are smaller animals. All the main characthers are likeable and introduced seperately. The storyline keeps you hooked and the sex scenes may not be the longest but they were enjoyable, there is a hot MM scene and a MFM, there is lots of talk of spankings too.
I will be looking for more books from this author.

oh I really liked this book.
Sylvia and Paige ran a dating agency called Shifting Hearts. It was highly successful in matching people for mates and marriages, it made Sylvia's heart sing! She just wanted to find someone for her but she had faith it would happen. Sylvia is a descendent of Aphrodite and she is happy using her powers to help others. Now to get started on Their clients
Natalie was a hedgehog shifter and on her way to her parents house, Her mother called earlier asking her to come over for dinner. But when she turns on to their drive she spots lots of cars. Dread filled Natalie it was one of two things. 1 A fundraisers or 2 Her mother was setting her up again. But sadly for Natalie it was BOTH. She could hear the whispers when she walked into her parents home. "oh that's the daughter that's unmated, the chubby one" It was a horrible night while everyone enjoyed their meals the maid place a piece of cold tasteless chicken in front of Natalie it was disgusting and the man who her mother set her up with Kenny was just as bad as her chicken!. Natalie quickly escaped and rings her friend Kamilah who tells her all about the Shifting Hearts dating agency. She goes online and fills in the questionnaire. It opens her eyes to new ideas on finding her mate. Natalie attende her meeting with Paige and Sylvia who quickly make Natalie a client and invites her to their social event at Ventures.
Lucas and Jonathan were mates that owned Ventures, The new Bondage club. Lucas was Jonathans submissive and loved their lifestyle but they felt that something was missing and hoped to find a woman to join there family. Lucas and Jonathan were starting to worry about the attendance of their club. They had been getting some bad press and numbers were down. they needed a plan.
But both ever surprised to find their mate at the dating agencies event they were catering for.
This is were the story really begins. Erzabeth knows how to put the twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat and the passion to be offfff the charts. A great read you wont be disappointed

I really enjoyed the start of this book, I felt there was a great build up and a strong foundation and introduction to each of the three characters.
I especially loved Natalie, a hedgehog made a change of shifter animals to the 'norm' and it was both adorable and amusing to have a prickly little hedgehog who couldn't quite control her shifting. Tho that didn’t happen more than once so not quite as much as I expected tbh that was disappointing as it could have been amusing in the right circumstances.
I however felt like the last section was rather rushed - we were over three quarters of the way through the book before all three characters were even in the same room together and once they were that was kind of it!!! It felt a little lost so it was the insta-mate-love and goodbye.
I would have really loved the book longer to explore the growing relationship and dynamic between the three of them. Also the book mostly revolved around a BDSM club, both the males were in a BDSM relationship, other characters were mentioned having scenes at the club but no storyline went in that direction. All in all I’m torn on whether to read more of the author, if I do it would have to be a longer read for getting enough details throughout the whole book rather than rushed endings

Natalie decides to take things into her own hands and sign up with Shifting Hearts Dating Agency to find a mate. Natalie ends up going to a party at a BDSM club where she gets the attention of not one but two men there. Lucas and Jonathan are mates but they want a female mate to complete them and when they meet Natalie, they know she's the one for them. Now if only they can convince her of that.
When Natalie comes face to face with her parents at the club and the two man come to her rescue from her mothers vitriol, she decides to give them a chance.
This was such a sweet romance. There wasn't much BDSM in this Natalie is new to all of this and the guys want to go into this new relationship slowly. This wasn't the first book I started in 2024, but it is the first book that I finished. Short, sweet, and sexy Erzabet Bishop's HEDGING HER BETS is the perfect distraction when you're feeling a bit under the weather. This is a quick story by Erzabet Bishop that has only one fault that I could find, It was too short! Seriously though, I loved this story, and If I hadn’t been a fan before, I am doubly so know.

I admit that I'm one of those readers who gets a kick at all the new types of shifter stories there are anymore. When I saw "hedgehogs" I just had to read this and I'm really glad that I did! This story has some lighthearted moments with Natalie's thoughts; she's a hedgehog shifter who has a tendency to pop into the little prickly animal when she's stressed. When she searches for her mate, she finds a BDSM club and its 2 oh so sexy owners, mates looking for their 3rd.
I didn't realize that I was nearing the end of the book, so I was quite surprised when there was suddenly no more. I could have easily read much more about Natalie, her mates and her family.

This was a fun fast paced story. The only problem I had with this book was I wish it was longer. Seriously though, I really enjoyed it. This was my first hedgehog shifter, and she refers to herself as a hedgie. How adorable is that. Throw in a hot gorgeous cat, and a bad boy biker bear, and your definitely in for sexy time. My only issue was, that the kinky aspect was minimal, mostly spoken of, not actually practiced. I was expecting them to participate. Besides that a enjoyable and entertaining read. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no minority compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.

Natalie is a hedgehog shifter who is sick of her mother's controlling demeaning ways. She goes to the Shifting Hearts Dating Service to find her own man not one her mother picks. They have her think outside the box. Jonathon is a bear shifter and Lucas is a cat shifter. They own Ventures, a BDSM club. They are mates looking for their third when into their club walks Natalie. These three are wonderful together. Loved this book and have found new author to read.

A really good shifter romance. 💞🐻🦔🐆💞
Not only is this a really good romance but it's a rather unique grouping of shifters. Jonathan is a bear shifter and the Dom of the group, Lucas is a cat shifter and Natalie is a hedgehog shifter. Yup... a hedgie between a bear and a cat. And yet, they blend wonderfully right from the start with instant-love streaking from one to the other. I really enjoyed the heat between Jonathan and Lucas is as white-hot as it is between the three of them and each variable. 💕💗🔥💕

good but missing something.
Good character development but somewhat weak in plot and didn’t feel like a shifter book. Natalie’s hedgehog was mentioned somewhat frequently but she never actually shifted at all. Lucas had a cat but no clue if was a lion, tiger, panther or tabby. And Johnathon was a bear but what kind is still a mystery, would have been nice if the author had said if he was a grizzly, black, brown, kodiak, or polar. And again, the men never shifted. Would have been nice to have shifting in a shifter book. Nice if you need a quick and light read.

Decent story of a shifter finding her two mates.
Short shifter romance, that is enjoyable but I wished it was a bit fuller. I appreciate the bit of background on how the two male characters came together but I was left wanting more knowledge of the two before they become three. I also wanted to know how the heroines nervous condition was resolved and if she did get spanked. This story left me with a few questions.

Totally loved this book and would thoroughly recommend it and hope that others enjoy it as much as I did. Hedgies, and bears, and cats, oh my!
This was my first hedgie shifter book...have to say, Natalie is adorable. Throw in a gorgeous cat, and a bad boy biker bear, you get a very steamy, sexy mix of fun. My only minor tweak , was that the kinky aspect is minimal, mostly spoken of, not actually practiced...would have loved more. Altogether a really fun read.

This novella was nothing spectacular but it had potential mam right - datingare agency, shifters BDSM club and mm mates for our f- so Good premises but execution was not so so Good...
I liked h and other HH but why making those 3 mates at few last pages! Why? I wanted some scorching hot action with all 3 of them for like half of it! But... didnt get it...

Hedging Her Bets by Erzabet Bishop is an amazing story to read. This is book number one in a brand new series that I fell in love with. I love reading this story it has strong shifter characters and an amazing story line. I highly recommend this to everyone who loves amazing shifter stories to read.

I love the Shifting Hearts Dating agency series, and this book is no exception. It holds all the normal character chemistry and brilliant storyline that you have come to expect of Erzabet, and if you haven't read any of her books yet - where have you been?!!

I'm sorry to say that it looks like I'm the minority when it comes to this book. I did not enjoy it. Yes, the concept was good but I felt like it was a bit all over the place and didn't have a good flow to it.
Written from a mulitple POV, it is a paranormal romance that can be read as a standalone.

This is a well written cute story with awesome characters. This one has some twists, but I don't do spoilers so get this one to see what I mean. If you like quirky characters, you will enjoy this one. Please remember this is a Menage story so if that isn't your type of story this one isn't for you. I think you will enjoy this one.
