Holy sh****t! Buckle up and take a Xanax - this book is a pulse-pounding thrill ride ripped straight from the most terrifying climbing adventures of our time.

Divided into four electrifying parts, this story is a relentless twisted avalanche of action and suspense that will leave you gasping for air. Every chapter drips with intensity, and the way the author blends real-world climbing facts with gripping fiction makes for an unputdownable read.

And that twist? Absolutely jaw-dropping. The ending? Completely unforgettable. This is storytelling at its finest - raw, visceral, and wildly entertaining.

What a writer! It’s impossible not to imagine this book being made into a limited series or a movie. Seriously, it just needs to be.

The premise is as compelling as it is chilling. Six years ago, Conner swore off climbing after a devastating fall claimed the life of his brother, Travis. Broken and guilt-ridden, Conner withdrew from the world, losing not only his passion but also his closest relationships - including his girlfriend, Tess, who was on the mountain that fateful day too.

Now, a high-stakes reality TV show, Darwin’s Race, has pulled Conner out of retirement and thrust him back into the unforgiving world he left behind. The challenge? Twelve competitors, split into two teams, battling brutal elements, dense jungles, treacherous ravines, and a deadly mountain for a shot at $2 million - and the whole world will be watching. But there’s more than just money at stake. As Conner faces his demons and the deadly terrain, he’s haunted by one question: will he finally uncover the truth about what happened to Travis, or will the mountain claim another soul? Or souls?

This book is full of tension, emotion, and edge-of-your-seat adventure. It’s not just a read - it’s an experience. A must read for thrill-seekers and adrenaline junkies alike. Couldn’t recommend more.

If this book had just been about an adventure race, it would have been good. The whole man-eating-Yeti thing was just unnecessary and silly.

Thriller - mountain climbing, mystical "Yeti", similiar to Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child style and story

Quite an interesting book. Somewhat scifi at times but made an interesting read. It definitely kept me wanting to continue reading.
