Christian Fiction so of course I liked it. read it in 2010. Nikki and Dino no each other from a long time ago. Nikki sleeps with Dino one time and gets pregnant. At the time Dino is a hustler and his business is in the street. He has no idea Nikki is pregnant and when she finds out she leaves and moves to Florida. They meet again when Dino comes to Florida as the head of his church organization, Nikki's son gets into some trouble and Dino comes to the rescue. He takes care of Nikki and her son. He stands with her through her tough times and pulls her out of some tough spots. In the end, she tells Dino that the son she has is in fact his and they figure out how to tell him together. They both know there are strong feelings between them from ling ago, but they both keep trying to fight them. In the end, the feelings are too string and they give in to them. They fall in love, get married and all is right with the world. Read again: January 2013

This was a pretty thick book, but an amazing read, and I can't wait to read what happens next.

A few years ago, Nikki fell in love with Dino, with the hopes that he felt the same way towards her. Then, she realizes she is pregnant with his child. But, Dino doesn't know this and married another woman. Nikki decides she doesn't want to be involved in this mess flees. However, Dino starts experiencing hardships in his life after Nikki leaves. His best friend dies, so does his wife and child. As a way of redeeming himself for all of the sins he's done, he starts believing in god and soon he is a high authority bishop. Nikki and Dino meets once again. Will the love that they had a few years ago spark again?

this book us a really good novel in that it shows how if you're meant to be with someone, you will. I also liked the fact that it proves that people can change, such as Dino. My heart also goes out to Nikki, being abandoned at thirteen years old, then having to raise a kid by herself. Life sure isn't easy for many of us... but determination will help us get through any obstacle.

I give this novel 4 Stars because it ends on a happy note.
Being my first christian and all blacks novel, it is a classic love story with a strong hero-heroin characters.

Dino Cochran is a character that every women kind of loves to have, head strong, intelligent, muscular, powerful and god fearing. Loved reading the book
