Ebony Beauties Wanted To Marry Rich Bachelors. Age: Unimportant. Must be willing to relocate. Criterion: Winged Shaped Birthmark. Tattoos are not acceptable!!!
Aman almost falls out of her chair in laughter after reading the personal ad on the cover of her morning paper. There's no way it can be real. What kind of gold diggers would respond? Better still what type of desperate old man would place the ad in the first place?
To each his own! She just knows she and her little winged birthmark are going to stay clear.
What can I say, I love to read and write. I have 3 beautiful children who keep me active and happy, if not for them I'd probably be a recluse surrounded by zillions of books, a few tablets and several laptops. I love getting all feedback since my goal is to improve on my craft. I haven't written my best work yet. Hope to hear from you.
Sergei has to deal with the fallout after an ad is put into every major newspaper about finding an "ebony beauty for a rich bachelor." When Aman sees the ad she knows a whole bunch of people are going to respond, but not her even though she fits the description of the ad perfectly. Coincidentally, Sergei meets Aman and soon finds out she's his mate, but good luck explaining that to Aman because she's not too convinced. On the plus side, at least there's some mutual attraction between Sergei and Aman. You have to start from somewhere, right? >_<
I understand that Aman raise her younger siblings and was independent but she started work my nerves. It wasn't all of her fault, Sergei was mainly to blame. By the men not explaining about who they are and what these women are to them, I understand why she acted the way she did. But my question is why didn't she ask him questions??? Why didn't she ask Fatima questions when she and Sergei were staying at Lorn and Fatima' place? After reading what the third book is about, i will pass because gargoyles and weres only have children with their true mates and they mate for life from all the stories have read about both.
Aman and Sergei I see having more issues when this story continues and I like it. Aman is so strong and she fights for what she knows is right even if she doesn't know what will come from what she does. I am excited to see how her's and Sergei's relationship will help other Protectors ease their mates into their roles with less turmoil then their own transition. Nia Fox is keeping me on my toes with this series and I can't wait for more.
I'm feeling this kind of middle evil modern day romance read. I like how heroine and friend stick together no matter what. also how hero didn' give a care of rule attitude
