About the author

Peter was born near Manchester in the North West of England into a working class family. He studied Engineering at University where he joined the British Army.

During his service he worked in Russia, Ukraine, and other interesting countries. After reaching the rank of major, he resigned his Commission and moved with his family to New Zealand where he led an active, outdoors life.
However, after a skiing accident Peter started writing, this allowed him to refocus and develop new skills.

Peter has written about Andy Flint, starting with The Beginning Series (Defector and Double Cross). These stories are initially set in 1993 and after the Beginning Series we move forward to find Andy Flint as he is today. A very different man.

If you like fast paced, action packed page turners with a thread of conspiracy in your thriller series, then Andy Flint is for you.

Peter lives in Wellington, New Zealand. His kids have now left home leaving him with his wife and a mischievous Labrador, Pembroke.

I have read Defector from Peter Kozmar and fell in love with Andy Flint's character. Andy Flint kind of reminds me of Jack Ryan by the end of this book. I really like books where the lead character does things that go against the grain to do what is right.

Andy Flint is back in Moscow after his successful extraction of a high value Russian asset. That mission when sideways so many different ways and upset many of the higher ups in Langley. After another mission that turn sideways Flint gets sent to another station house where all hell breaks loose.

This is where the action pics up. Going to start the next book soon.

Great read

I really liked this book. The story was very present day and loved the plot twists and I thought the main character was well done. I really liked Andy Flint! He s a patriot at heart and just trying to do the right thing in a world of politics and spies. Kudos.
