Clear and Concise. This was an easy read with tons of things that can be readily applied at work. It may appear that many of these are common sense and should only be done that way, but if we look back, we (atleast I!) don't do delegate in a methodical/ objective way. This book clearly changed my way of looking at delegation.

Step-by-step guide to effective delegation

Some managers don’t manage. Instead, they try to do everything themselves. This never works, because most supervisors have too many tasks and too little time. The solution is to learn to delegate, a basic managerial skill, like planning or budgeting, that you can develop. Business experts Richard A. Luecke and Perry McIntosh offer a simple, straightforward five-step plan you can use to delegate job assignments. The authors outline their approach to delegation in clear language backed by numerous helpful examples. Additionally, they detail typical delegation problems and supply practical solutions. This short, basic manual is smartly laid out, easily accessible and immediately practicable. getAbstract recommends it to anyone who manages others and wants to elicit their best work through effective delegation.

Concise

This book is a quick, powerful read. It concisely breaks down five steps in delegating tasks to your staff properly.

One of the key takeaways for me was to make sure the “monkey” does not get transferred back to you. When delegating, you might have employees that are skilled at not taking on more tasks or making you feel that it would just be quicker if you did it. This book provides strategies on how to handle those situations.

Anyone who is new at management should give this a read. Especially, if it is on sale with Amazon Kindle, grab it.

This was an easy read that offered insight and solid examples. It isn't a fancy book that gives you deep, dramatic ideas. Everything is pretty simple, but very reasonable. It's a great (albeit simple) self-teaching book if you're looking to improve your delegatin skills.

I read just a few books about this subject, I think just three, but this one is the best so far.
Simple and complete, as a I was looking for.
Thing I learn: if someone can do your job at least 70% of the quality you would do, it's worthwhile to delegate it. I am not completely sure about my conclusion, but apparently it seems the sum of 3 people doing your job at 70% quality results on you being 210% productive.

Also, for people who read "Drive, what motivate us" this book fits well, share the same ideas but in a different perspective. Delegate is also give autonomy and authority.
