Excellent - heartbreaking - real and way too long. The story is so devastating and beautiful but way too long. Demon is hard not to love and that’s why the story is so heartbreaking. A def must read. Story about poverty, addiction, abuse but also community, loyalty and survival.

amazing book, well thought-out characters. however it was slow-moving at some points. i truly love demon and his growth and progress in his story. i love how the book turns into the story he’s writing, ending at the perfect moment with the character i was rooting for. mwah to damon, angus, maggot, emmy, dori, tommy and all the characters seen and unseen.
