This is a wonderfully done book compiling truly amazing stories of survival. While many parts are gruesome, disturbing or challenging, it captures the human spirit, hope and determination as well. I love that there are small accounts of faith included rather than glossing over God's protection and provision in some of the accounts. I vetted this book for my kids, but found myself disturbingly inspired by the many brave souls in this book. I love that there are also highlights for survival tips included with each story. I am glad to pass this book along to my kids in hopes it will inspire and amaze them as well.
Great read, loved that the stories are short and kept me on my toes. Enjoyed that you put the dates and what Era it was in. Easy to remember knowledge on survival for young people.Would recommend this book to anyone who isn't all that interested in reading, you will definitely be wanting to read more in this series. And last but not least, Have fun with your office party make a marshmallow angel for us!
I really liked it and it was interesting to read. It was interesting and educational to find out how all those people survived. Hopefully I’ll never need to use the skills I learned here.
From Mom- although some of the stories could be a little scary or gross, I liked the Important lessons this book taught as well as the positive display of grit, resilience and faith.
