People in every country know basketball and when they remember that they will also remember the famous American basketball player Michael Jordan. He is tall and strong and his favorite number is 23. He played for thirteen years for the Chicago Bulls. Basketball is something very important to Michael, it is his life he said. He won six NAB championships. Every match was important to him. But how did this happen? And how did he become a star?
Michael’s story starts in 1963 in Brooklyn, New York. He moved to Wilmington, North Carolina later in 1963. Michael is the son of Deloris and James Jordan. Michael learned basketball from his brother. They used to play in the back yard. Michael started basketball from twelve to fifteen years old at Laney high school and became a star of the team. He got his first championship with the UNC team. After this Michael played in the NBA and became the best player in the world. Michael has a lot of money from his life in basketball. He has many awards. In December 1988 Michael and Juanita bore their first son Jeffrey. Now he has two sons and a daughter. He is happy and strong in life.

Michael was the best player in NBA he played for the Chicago bulls his number was 23 and he was know's of being able to fly. Michael was born on February 17 ,1963 in Brooklyn,New York His family moved to Wilmington North Carolina later in 1963. He came from a happy family and in his school live he loved sports as he was growing up he played basketball,baseball and football he played in the Laney High School basketball A team player and his number was 45. Micheal wanted the number 23 because 45 divided by 2 = 22 and 2 over 1. Micheal doesn't stay on the A team the coach moves him to the B team. Micheal was mad he was o angry that day that he did not go to school, his father told him that basketball is important but study is important too.
In 1979 Micheal suddenly was 1.91 meter (6.3) tall he went to the A team around that time he was a star, a lot of other collage wanted him but Micheal liked the North Carolina(UNC) he liked the basketball coach Dean Smith. In September 1981 he went to the UNC with his sister Roslyn and she started collage early, The coach teaches Micheal a lot of new thing that make him better. The UNC are going to play with the Georgetown Hoyas, There were 61,000 people in New Orleans for the big game it is the Tar Heels 61, Hoyas 62 there is only little time left and the coach said to the player give the ball to Micheal but Micheal doesn't look at the player he looks at the basket he takes a long shot and made it and the UNC won there first Championship. Micheal Long shot was everywhere on the newspaper and T.V he was famous a lot of people know his from that shot.
Every year The NBA look for a new player Micheal Jordan thinks about going to NBA but his Mother said he should finish his four years in UNC It very important, He finish collage then the Chicago Bulls Picked Micheal for 6,000,000 fro seven years in there them and the bulls were not that famous they did not win many championship Micheal Jordan made then win three championship in 3 years in a row Micheal Jordan a a famous name in the whole world everyone know about him. But in 1993 Micheal Jordan father died and Micheal loved his father, Micheal Jordan on October 6 ,1993 retires from basketball and retire his number 23. Micheal Started playing Baseball he was good at it his number was 45 the number he had in laney people told him to go back to Basketball, On March 8, 1995 Micheal jordan came back got his number 23 and become the best player in the NBA again and got the Chicago Bulls another 3 championship in 3 years in a row. In 2000 he buys the NBA team the Washington Wizards they were not a famous team but Micheal played strong for them but he sometime had problems with his legs, In 2003 Micheal Jordan was 4 years old he retried he does not play basketball often now but he love the game of basketball.

Book is written by Addison-Weasley.This is a small book about Michael Jordan and his life (like a small document movie),most of the basketball career but also about his baseball games and his life,family and friends. He was a famous basketball star so most of the book is about that but still you can read a lot of Michael Jordan that you didn't know about him in this small book. It is a nice book and I liked it,it was small but good book with information and some things I didn't know. I learned something about best basketball player off all time and I liked this book really much.
