@Discussion question
Do you have a dream?
Yes - What is it?
No - what person do you want to be in the future?

@My answer
Yes, i do. i want to travel all over the world. especially, i would like to go South America because there are some of my friends. i like human, so i would like to meet a lot of people and learn a lot of knowledge and way of thinking about the world and people.

@What I think about the book.
i like this book because it was so romantic. i truly agreed with the main character's thinking that love is more important than love. i am poorer than other people, but i want to find a great man except of how much he earn. my mother's thinking is same as me, so she will be for to me, different from the mother in this book.

1Q:In this story, people couldn't be happy in a marriage. However, Japanese marriage must be always happy. Do you think marriage should be with happiness?
1A:Surely I answer yes. But one ethnic group in India has different wedding systems. They just get married, and live separately forever. But Japanese couples live together at least while they are in marriage, so I feel Japanese wedding always should be happy.

2Q:At dance party, Jane said terribly to Henry that he was strange. But Jane bowed her. She was embarrased. Do you think that his behave is right?
2A:I think it is like British. He is very polite. He keeped calm. I think he is a nice guy.

i like this book because it was romantic but it wasn't like all book it was sad ending. what i didn't like about it there wasn't a lot of details in it and it was too short.this book was about a girl called jane and her sister.her sister was married but her sister wasn't married yet.her mom wants her to marry a rich man because they are poor people but jane doesn't want to get married without love. one day she meet her brothers friend his name is tom.she liked him and he liked her but they couldn't get married because of tom's uncle they get married to the people that they don't want.will this book tought me 2 lessons 1st lesson is if you want something you have to take risks and the 2nd lesson life is not a fairy tail.

4. Which do you choose love or money?
--- I choose love, same as Jane. Money is of course important, but people cannot be happy without love. It is a kind of big choice actually.
5. I really like to read such a love story. I found Anne Hathaway on the cover of this book, she is one of the best actress for me so I chose this one to read. "Sometimes love is a shy flower. It takes time to grow." This is the most beautiful and impressive words for me. I want to watch a movie related to this book.

4a. I am nothing without my uncle's money, and he will never agree to our marriage. So I cannot offer you marriage, but you must know what I feel. I am yours. My heart is yours.

4b. I like this because it means love is more important than money for Jane and Tom. I think it is little romantic.

5. This story is little difficult for me because some complicated things happened. I was surprised that Jane and Tom didn't decide to marry. But Jane could become a writer, and Tom could become a layer. Finally, they both could be happy so it was good.

2. Will you marry with your lover even if your family are against about that?
I will! I want them to celebrate our marriage, so I'll try to persuade them. But if I cannot do that, I won't break up my lover.

5 I enjoyed reading this book. especially I like that Jane decided not to marry because she did't want to Tom to be poor. I think it's hard decision to make. also there were some pictures in the book so it was easier for me to image the scene. I like to see this stories movie.

'Are you Miss Jane Austen?'
I think when people miss someone, they love someone or need someone with them.

After I read this book, I considered what is true love. Nowadays, there are not as many as couples who can't get married because of family whether rich or poor. But I think its problem doesn't matter if they really love each other. I want to watch this movie.

A biographical portrait of a pre-fame Jane Austen and her romance with a young Irishman.The year is 1795 and young Jane Austen is a feisty 20-year-old and emerging writer who already sees a world beyond class and commerce, beyond pride and prejudice, and dreams of doing what was then nearly unthinkable - marrying for love.

So here’s the thing... I loved this movie, and then found out there was a “book” for it too. I ordered it and was so excited to receive it... and then opened it up to find a 40 page kid chapter book. I was disappointed obviously, and shelved it for quite a while. (I’m 20 years old btw so I’m definitely NOT the target audience)Until today when I thought I’d just give it a shot. It was only a few pages after all. I wish I hadn’t.

BOY was it poorly written. I have never read anything that sucked the very essence of a story out until I picked this up. And don’t give me ‘oh it was just a kid’s learning story! it’s supposed to be like that’. No. I’ve read plenty kid stories that were VERY well done— with great imagery and description and a message. I got none of that from this book. If I hadn’t seen the movie first, I would have had no idea what the setting was like, what the characters were really like... anything. It was just all so stale and lifeless.

The only reason I rounded up to 2 stars was because I do understand that this story WAS meant mainly to teach words and simple sentence structures, but there are so many amazing children’s stories that will offer better growth in many areas. In my opinion, I wouldn’t give a kid any book that I wouldn’t read and enjoy myself (even if I had to answer their questions about a slightly more difficult book). This was one that I really did not enjoy.

Reading this book will break the charms of the most famous book of Jane Austen and my favourite one " Pride & Prejudice". Because you will realise that the story was written just to give the characters a happy ending. Jane promessed her sister Cassandra to give a happy ending to the characters of her new book that they wished for.
I noticed that Mr.Wisely was Mr.Darcy and Cassandra was Jane Bennet and Jane was Elizabeth Bennet.
The bitter truth is that Mr.Darcy and Miss Elizabeth didn't have a happy ending as we are told in P&P.
"My characters will have --- after a little trouble --- all that they want, with a home, a family and great happiness"

this is yet another amazing tale of the remarkable romances between Tom Leroy and Jane Austen, I must say that in the movie Anne Hathaway portrayed the essence and sparks jane felt during love and yet again i must say that i am somewhat disappointed that they did not end up together, but a girl has to have some independence. So, i say thanks again for such a romantic tale, it really brought me into the world of Jane Austen once again.

I love Austen! She is one of my most favourite authors. Well, she is every one's favourite! Unless, you've never read any of her novels. Then again, you don't get to judge her. Anyway, "Becoming Jane" was a great book. Well, it's about Jane Austen, so I loved it.
