This chapter was about the simple fast pitch. Even though it is the most basic of the pitches it is still a difficult pitch. The biggest fault is not turning your hips to the batter when the ball is released. Your hips should be open at all times during any pitch.
Chapter 2: This chapter talks about the change up pitch. This pitch is an essential pitch in Fastpitch softball! The change ups delivery from the pitcher looks as if the pitch is going to be an extremely fast pitch but as the pitcher release it she changed the speed by hitting her side more, snapping her wrist slower, and extending her index finger. This pitch tricks a lot of girls into swinging to early causing a strick.
