A Sudden Impulse
A sudden impulse made Jenny Verne take the bus to Daleview, Texas, to visit her Aunt Felicia. Jenny was surprised to find the older woman had turned her home into a rooming house to meet her many expenses — and even more surprised to learn that most of the boarders had been chased away by a series of odd, annoying incidents.
Tom Cedric, who worked at the local radio station, was one of Felicia's remaining boarders. Jenny was attracted to Tom immediately, even though he was somewhat haunted by an event in his past. Soon, Jenny realized that everyone in the house — including herself was besieged by the past, and there'd be no happiness for any of them unless they could somehow break free!
