Bridging the Gap Between College and Law School: Strategies for Success

Rate this book
This popular book helps students make the transition from their undergraduate experience to law school learning. Unlike other "introduction to law school" texts, Bridging the Gap offers a different approach because Rather than giving only general advice, or black letter law and some practice problems for a specific subject, Bridging the Gap provides the context, the process, and the problems. Written by two former law school professors who used these techniques with thousands of students, Bridging the Gap is a guide to what really works in law school.

A helpful and approachable introduction to law school.

'Bridging the Gap' subtly disguises itself as a travel guide to the law school experience, introducing the journey with background information, touching on the important facets and concluding with special tips to make the most of the experience.

The information is relevant, clear and most importantly, not incomprehensible to an non-matriculated student.

I have exhausted my patience with pretending to prepare for law school but would recommend this book above many others I've looked at for current applicants, especially those coming straight from college.

A really good book for those planning to attend law school. I think of it as a beginner's guide. You can start with this book and then move onto Delaney's Legal Reasoning and Exam books, Getting to Maybe and even the Leews program. All of them offer good advice and you can create a system for yourself somewhere in between all of them.
