This is a textbook for automotive design students published by one of the top schools for transportation design.

It is heavily illustrated and goes through the process of automotive packaging design step by step. It is a more technical book that covers all the information to be considered during the design process.

This is an essential book for car designers but can also be very informative and useful for industrial or product designers. This book does not cover styling, interior/exterior design, or sketching/visual design that may be the more “artistic” part of design but it is still very insightful.

Fantastic introduction and guide to the specifics of transportation design, and a masterclass in itself on visual communication. Technical enough to be used as a reference during projects, but approachable enough to be of use to designers new to the field.
