What’s that you say? Can you make me……..?!!! Why, yes Cason. You absolutely can! Game night has never been so entertaining. Jameelah and Cason have been best friends since college and they own a business together. They’re also secretly in love with each other but, have never acted on their feelings because of a pact they made with their friends. All that changes during game night when Jameela makes an off the cuff comment about her sex life. This alters the trajectory of their friendship and sets them on a journey of unbelievable pleasure. Once Cason got the green light, it was full steam ahead. He was all gas and no brakes baby. Cason was on that azz and was not letting up until his bestie became his woman. It was cute how Jameela and Cason really thought they were foolin’ everybody. Their feelings for each other was the worst kept secret among their family and friends. I loved how despite a few hiccups with his bitter baby mama and some reservations from Jemeelah, Cason remained focused on his end goal and did not let up until Jem saw things his way. He made sure his naughty request turned into a forever kind of love.

This was a quick steamy read....I really enjoy the friends to lovers trope. Cason and Jemeelah were a perfect match. I love the that Cason really went the extra mile to prove his love for his best friend. Hos daughter's mother was something else....I was more than happy when he got her a** under control....Hopefully, we can get other books from this group of friends....This group of friends were cool and wild.

this book just didn’t do it for me. i found myself annoyed by the characters way more than entertained.
cason just wasn’t that guy to me. you’re telling me you’ve been in love with your best friend all those years and never made a move but as soon as you find out she’s never had a man induced orgasm it was time to make a move?! how much do you really love that woman if that’s what you needed to hear to finally confess your feelings for her. men are so dense and self involved sometimes, even fictional men.
i felt like cason was so pushy when it came to being in a relationship with jameelah. it was like because he was ready to be in a relationship he expected jameelah to just throw caution to the wind and be with him. like my guy, you was just hunching your baby mama a couple months ago, jameelah’s reservations were very valid. especially because his baby mama started causing drama before the relationship was really off the damn ground.
mind you, this was supposed to be an erotica. they spent so much time of dealing with exes and ish i forgot they were supposed to be hunching.

I love me some Cason, this best friend to lovers romance was just the right amount of nasty. I will say I understand why Jemeelah was scared because you don't want to mess up a solid relationship but LAWDDDD was she getting on my darn nerves. Cason was upfront with Meelah but she was playing and when he came on that date with Arik i was have jumped up so fast 🤣. Then for Arik to call and have that conversation, I was like and this is who you was trying to be nice to girl 🙄! Cason baby mama was a hot mess and when she got caught up I was laughing so hard that’s what she gets🤣🤣🤣! Cason did all the stops to make sure that Meelah was going to be his, the way he went about it was messed up but he saved her from making a bug mistake!!! Friends to lovers in the most peculiar way
Kay brought an interesting twist to how friends to lovers to HEA was brought forth for Cason and Jemeelah. I laughed and also recognized why the sub characters were rooting for them to be more. The premise of what got them to be is unique. As the ego and libido can be a hellava push to go for what you know. 15 years of what could have been and should have been, all came to ahead. I will say Yancy, I am happy she got her HEA. As the mind games of wanting the two parent household can be a lot. But moreover you recognized in her situation it's not far fetched for her to behave the way she did and it was good to see Jemeelah call Cason out about that.
Overall good storyline and new twist on what drives a couple to finally take a risk when they first start off as friends.

The title tricked me in the best way! This is definitely a spicy little novella, I anticipated pure smut which would have been fine with me. The actual love story that took place was a pleasant surprise. Very unexpected but really enjoyable. We have best friends to lovers, secret pining from both MCs, strong friend group, and the mama’s we’re too cute secretly trying to marry the couple off to each other long before they took the leap!
I’ve been in my Kay Shanee bag lately. This is my third of her books in the last few weeks and it did not disappoint. Come for the title.. stay for the story!
