I think this is one of the weakest c-novels I've read. It's an infinite flow, which was what caught my attention, but I thought it was a lot less polished than others, the author made many of mistakes from chapter to chapter and at times it seemed a bit messy. The story was interesting and I really like the way it was solved at the end. I also enjoyed the depth of the characters and their development, it felt believable.
So, it follows XRD, a 28 young male working in finance and with no relation to video games which, in a life and death situation, sees a mysterious elevator in the middle of the street that takes him to a different hostile world full of monsters and ghosts, in which he, along with other "players", must solve a the puzzle to be able to get out without dying in the process. However, in this novel, each time he dies the instance just resets and he can work to fix the previous mistakes to make it out and save his partner, LQ, a bright and smart gamer whom he meets in the simulation world as soon as he leaves the elevator for the first time.
There's lots of gore and darkness but, for some reason, the book is not really scary or as disturbing as other infinite flow novels.
