From award-winning author David Edward comes the next powerful Dirk Lasher thriller Ground Game, an electrifying spy actioner that brings Lasher to the gates of hell as he pursues unyielding justice.

Agent Lasher first discovered the existence of the islands a year ago, disgusting sanctuaries of the powerful, morally corrupt leaders of the free world. Willing to sacrifice everything to stop the horrifying sex trafficking of children, Lasher embarks on a one-way mission to brutally end the reign of terror. But how much depravity can one man witness and still hold on to his soul?

Could anyone come back from the depths of hell and not return forever changed?

This was a quick read and definitely had some thrilling spots. I won this in a Goodreads giveaway and have not read any other books in the lasher series. The ending though... I literally laughed out loud because i was not prepared for it to end. Especially liked that. The final fight at the near end was also anti climactic. Within a series, maybe some of the other story arcs have more time to develop and find more closure, but alone this book felt like it was missing something.

This riveting new book featuring Dirk Lasher is sure to please all who pick it up. The action is intense, the characters are complex and engaging, the pace is high speed. Brad Thor and Tom Clancy - watch out, here comes David Edward.

Just as good as his previous books

Lasher continues to kick butt and otherwise make things very difficult for the terrible people he is seeking to destroy.
