BUDDY
When the president of the Iron Travelers MC, Reno, sends me to Texas to help build a chapter, I swear it’s punishment for my last job. Never mind that some wannabe mobsters left me for dead. Failure is failure.
I never truly fit in there, or, well, anywhere really.
But when I meet a crystal-loving author at a heavy metal show, I start thinking the problem might be me. I am the common denominator, after all.

Krystal is a woman who likes to have fun. Buddy is a man who seems to have found something he didn’t realize he was looking for. Theirs was a story that was a nice surprise. Once I started, I knew that I wasn’t going to stop until I got to the very last word. If I have to make one recommendation, don’t read late into the night knowing that you have to go to work early the next morning – unless you plan on drinking lots of coffee.
I almost started with book two of the series until, when I opened it, it was recommended to start with Krystal and Buddy’s story first. It was interesting to see that this series is shared. The authors don’t co-write, but each has their own book that is a great vessel for their creativity. They make a story, even though it is fictional, seem so real that it makes me wonder what I’ve been missing by not going to author events. I had a chance to look at all the books Ms. Landon has out in the world and was surprised and happy to know I have plenty more titles to feed my need to read.
If not for the fact that I belong to a blog tour group, I may never have discovered this author or her series. I’m one of those people that has their list of favorite authors/book series. By taking the chance on someone I had never heard of, I’ve expanded my lists – and that’s never a bad thing. When you finish this book, I hope you come away feeling the same.

Buddy & Krystal
An author/fan book event and a hot concert should have made for an amazing time with one of her besties. An immediate connection with two hot bikers added was the cherry on top--even though a bad hot bike was the last thing she needed.
He never got involved with the many women he was with, she was different. One night wasn't enough. He had some emotional doubts plus setting up a new chapter gave him plenty to do. Still, he couldn't just let her go.
More than feelings, trouble added to the relationship. Trouble and danger. Lots going on, good characters, and story. I did enjoy it as I have with the other books from this new series. I recommend it to all MC fans, as well as romantic intrigue books.

Buddy and his club brothers are new to Texas. They've just banded the Texas chapter and are on the prowl for prospects and club bunnies the night he meets Krystal.
Krystal is ready for a night out with her author friend to see their favorite band when her eye falls on sexy Buddy. Their union is fiery and creating a lot more than either anticipated or wanted.
When her past comes looking for Buddy is right at her side. He isn't trying to take over and be the hero. He accepts his ol' lady needs closure. Will they manage to get over the harsh reality of what went down?
This is my first read by Ms. Landon and I truly enjoyed this read 📚! I'll be looking to read her other books.

Loved It!!
When both people seem to be running from their past it only ignites the whirlwind that came my way in this book. Buddy feels he was exiled from his club when he was sent with Dude to start up a new chapter of the Iron Travelers MC and Krystal has been in a relationship with a biker once before. Now she is an MC romance writer and has maybe met the man who will be the cover of her next book.
Their first meeting had them living in the moment but when their pasts come to the forefront once again they will both have to choose which road to take. Will Krysal be able to get over her past involvement with a biker and will Buddy be able to open his heart again and let others in? What a ride it was to find out and I loved every minute of it!!

Buddy is sent by his president to build a new chapter in Reno, and Krystal is in top form going to an author / fan event, plus a hot convert. When these two cross paths there is an instant connection between them, and 1-night is just not enough. This is a well written story which has emotions, danger, suspense, intrigue, romance, and love, which lead to an entertaining and addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

The past
When the past comes knocking on their door this couple finds that they are stronger together. I loved the way that the story relied upon feelings. Raw feelings of the couple. Its those feelings that has the couple falling in love.
This is a new to me author. I found that I enjoyed her writing style.. Her story flows very well as it progresses. I can't wait to see another story from her.

What a fun quick read! I think MC's are my 2nd favorite romance genre to read. This one was soo good! I feel like the characters and story were well developed and that the story flowed well. It didn't feel rushed like some shorter reads feel. The romance scenes in this book were super spicy but may not be everyone's kind of kink. I thought it was done tastefully.

This is a new author to me, and I definitely will be reading more of her work. Her characters are well developed, and the storyline is intriguing, entertaining and exciting. Buddy is sent by his Prez to help build a new chapter in Texas. Krystal and her bff are attending an author/fan event followed by a concert. When they cross paths there is an instant connection and one night is just not enough for either of them. Suspense, drama and action- what more could you ask for?

Wow! I’m loving all of these books! Full of action. Suspense & of course your romance. Buddy & Krystal meet up by chance. He’s in Texas to start a new chapter, she’s in Texas for a book signing. What could go wrong if they hook up? Well, what could go right? I am loving these books and can’t wait for the next one!

This was Insta love if I ever read one. Wow!! Crystal and Buddy find an instant connection. They both don't want any commitments and its only a one time thing but once they have each other they find ways to redefine no commitments. They both need each other like they need air to breathe.

A five star read!
This is the first time I have read anything by Verlene Landon and if won't be the last. I really enjoyed the story of Krystal and Joel as they took their trip toward love. This book has steam, angst and love. You can't go wrong by reading this book.

great story
Loved this story can’t wait to read more on this new MC Series. Great characters and a great storyline. Hopefully some of the other guys will get books of their own. Maybe even get some intel on the previous chapter they belonged to.

OK Verlene Landon this first book of the Iron Travelers MC was ginormous in the feelings department. Learning to listen and listening to one another made their feelings even more intense. Can’t wait to read the third since I read the second book first!!

Buddy is having a hard time adjusting to his new life in Texas, he believes that his move to Texas was a punishment, but with Krystal in his life and opening up to his new President, his life and his path forward become clear.
Krystal isn't prepared for her book world to come to life and become her real life after she goes to a metal concert with her book world bestie, but her life is about ready to take a new path and she just needs to be ready for the ride.
I loved Krystal and Buddy's story. I loved the way their relationship started and progressed throughout the book. It was a fun ride. I am enjoying reading the books in this world and can't seem to get enough. I've read some new to me authors and find that I need to add them to my list for future books.
