Fateful Hearts (ARC review)

This is definitely the best book in the series. Zoey and Blake had me in a chokehold. I was obsessed with them and their interactions. May I also point out that Blake is my favorite man in this series. Zoey is a badass single mother, trying her best to do everything for her little girl. Seeing her deal with her sad excuse of an ex made me so sad for her cause she didn't deserve any of this. Blake stepping up and being there for her and Hailee was the best thing to happen. The bond him and Hailee created was so cute and I loved how he tried to make her happier and was always by her side. Seeing that little girl light up every time he was there was so precious. Hailee was so perfect in this book, she was a little spitfire and such a fun and sassy little girl. Hailee loved her mom so much and you could feel how much they meant to eachother. Blake and Zoey had this undeniable chemistry and attraction to eachother and I was there for it. Their moments only got better and I appreciated the no 3rd act break up. Those two deserved to be together and create a family and that's what they did. In some people's eyes it might feel rushed but to me it was perfect. Those two truly loved eachother. Their moments couldn't get hotter and I loved the way Blake worshipped Zoey. That man was all about her and that was everything to me. Zoey deserved a man like Blake, supportive, encouraging, attentive and head over heels for her and her daughter. The epilogue was so adorable and perfect for them.

After reading the 1st and the 2nd books of the series, I was a little bit sceptical about Blake and Zoey's story. But I am glad that I gave it a go. Because I really liked both of them and their story.
For me, Zoey was the best mother for her adorable little girl and she had a 2-year crush on Blake...a crush that turned out with deep feelings. She didn't know that Blake reciprocated her feelings. They come together to pretend to be together for her ex's wedding. To be honest, her ex needed to be taught a lesson, because for me he is a sad excuse for a man.
Ahh...Blake and Zoey were perfect for each other. They were so in love with one another and, at the same time, both afraid to let go of their feelings. The main reason for this was, that Nash had strict rules when it came to employees dating each other. Even so, they couldn't stop themselves. The heat, the fire, the smut was everywhere. Those scenes with them were just so perfect and so so hot.
I liked the ending and everything, but I still think that for me the ending was a bit rushed. Besides that, I really liked Blake and Zoey's love story.

This was a fun, sweet, and quick read. I’ve been dying for Blake’s story ever since we met him in Nash’s book. He’s a very different man, a good man, after making some mistakes in the past. For the last two years Blake has wanted Zoey, the single mom who works as Nash’s PA. Nash has a strict no office romance rule, and neither Blake nor Zoey are willing to cross this line. Things happen with Zoey’s baby daddy that necessitates Blake stepping in to fake date her. The story is more of a slow burn for the two of them trying to figure out if the risk is worth it for both of them, and especially Hailee (zoey’s adorable daughter). For me Blake is a tad too sweet, and while there are some spicy scenes I wanted just a bit more. Overall a great read and fun entry into the series.

𝐙𝐨𝐞𝐲 𝐙𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢 (h) is a single mother who does not have time for romance because she is busy caring for her daughter and dealing with her terrible ex. However, when 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧 (H) steps in when her ex is being terrible, they are suddenly in a situation where he wants to protect her, and he needs to fix his reputation now that everyone thinks she might be his girlfriend. With a strict no-workplace romance policy, the two set boundaries in their relationship even when there is something more between them.

I want to start off by saying this is how I felt about the book and everyone has different opinions.
Personally, the characters were immature and there were many moments where I couldn’t believe they were grown adults because they came off as children. Whether it was arguments with Zoey’s ex in the workplace or Zoey arguing with her ex in front of her child, it was just the wrong place and wrong time situation. It felt inappropriate to bring up their personal affairs in front of everyone, and while Kyle, the ex was a terrible person, it was a bit frustrating to have him be a constant character in the book. I couldn’t connect to the romance because the ex was the main issue and he was just making everything impossible.
I also think Blake came on a bit too strong and it was not cute. The “romance” was so insta love that it deterred me from connecting with Zoey and Blake. From the moment Kyle made an appearance as her ex, he stepped in, and that wasn’t the issue. The problem was that he claimed to be infatuated with her for two years, but he never said anything and everyone recognized him as the “grumpy” boss but as the reader, you never get that impression. It would have been better if we saw Blake slowly come out of his shell and warm up to Zoey, because I love a slow burn. This felt like it escalated too quickly and suddenly he was volunteering to be her fake boyfriend. Not only that, it was odd that Blake felt like he needed to be a father to Zoey’s child. While I am glad that she shut him down, he was so forward about wanting to be in Hailee’s life. If it is a single mom book, I typically prefer when the MMCs respect that they are a new figure in the child’s life and set boundaries. Blake had ZERO boundaries and was making promises to be in Hailee’s life for a while, which was unsettling to read. If Blake and Zoey had been together for a while, it would have been less off putting, but he had barely met Hailee.
To be totally honest, Blake did not come off as a cute possessive MMC, he was just weird. There were many questionable scenes and considering his past, it is not surprising that he had to win his way back into his friend’s lives. He is a big red flag to me and I didn't particularly like him in the beginning nor the end.

I appreciated the arc and this is nothing against the author because there were cute moments in the book where I saw potential, but as a collective I didn’t love it.

Oh my gosh, what a quick but sweet and spicy romance read! I was hooked from the beginning and was dying to see the evolution between Zoey and Blake’s relationship. I did enjoy how they already seemed to be at ease with each other, but there was still plenty to learn. I loved how this book still showed real world struggles and how Blake and Zoey approached them. Romance books that include the struggles and hardships that normal, everyday people can go through makes the story that much easier to connect to. The “found family” that was created in these books, being comprised of college/works friends was also so sweet! I really enjoyed how all of the characters stood up for each other, even if someone was new to the group. And Hailee has to be the cutest and hilariously mature seven year old. I really like that the author included the importance of Blake developing a relationship with Hailee and the fact that all characters kept Hailee’s well-being in mind made it so much sweeter. I am also such a sucker for nicknames and Zoey/Blake calling Hailee “Starshine” is SO adorable. The main thing I really couldn’t stand about this book was KYLE, ugh he was the worst. You definitely will want to jump through the book and strangle him.
The only things that stuck out to me in the book were how the pace seemed to be a little fast, we meet Zoey/Blake after they’ve already known each other for 2 years and I just wish we would have seen more of the evolution of their relationship (starting as coworkers then growing) instead of them already seeming to have a crush and then jump into a fake dating scenario. The other thing that stuck out were how truly awful some of the characters were (i.e. Kyle’s mom), and it almost seemed excessive/unrealistic in a way? But these are just nitpickings because I overall enjoyed the book.
This story is full of great spice, drama that will leave you frustrated, heartwarming moments that will have you blushing, anger that seems ridiculous to aim towards fictional characters, and even some tears. It’s great to be back in this Revel Rose series with these terrific characters. I will admit Blake Branson hasn’t been my favourite character, however, that’s understandable considering how he was depicted in book one, Hostile Hearts. In this story he really steps up and okay, he might have had some incentive 😉 he still does it from the kindness of his heart. He has converted me into really liking his character, even if he still is a bit naughty. 😁 It is a perfect example of how different environments can have an affect on a person.
Young Hailee nearly steals the show with her exuberance and her loving nature. As my wise mother used to say about my own first daughter, “She was born forty!” Hailee definitely has an older head on her shoulders at times, yet her sweet innocence is still strong too. Zoey Zavorelli, Hailee’s mum, is one terrific character who I instantly liked. She is a hard worker, just like Blake, caring and compassionate but has an inner strength, unfortunately from battling her ex boyfriend. She is also a fantastic mother who puts her daughter first and has done since her birth.
There are two ongoing battles in this story and both are just as fierce and just as emotionally challenging for Zoey and Blake. Their fake relationship, when really they would both like it to be a real one, is so hard for them; finding a resolution seemingly impossible. The other is battling Kyle, Zoey’s ex… such a douche canoe. When this author creates her characters she truly knows how to make villains nasty, to put it mildly, and the other characters so interesting that you feel like you wouldn’t mind knowing them in real life. Such are the fabulous descriptions and the emotions that capture the heart of readers with great success. Bring on book four, Tahlee intrigues me and I can’t wait to read her story.

Talk about a swoon-worthy man 😍😭 Zoey had so much on her plate, I just wanted to give her a big hug. She was a boss ass bitch and truly ruled the office - those boys would be lost without her 🤣 Hailee was my girl!!! She was hysterical and the perfect comedic relief for this storyline

Fateful Hearts left my heart pounding, yet again K.E Osborn produced another emotional winner, a beautiful story, wonderful characters and the show steeler the delightful Hailee, the 6-year-old daughter of Zoe.
The third book in this can't put down series, has to be my favourite, Blake was everything I hoped he would be, I was waiting for Ms Osborn to finally show us the real Blake Branson, and she did in glorious detail, the scene in the Audi not once but twice is so hot, then we have Zoe the brilliant single mom, who's world is her daughter the only problem she has is that still has to deal with her awful ex but working for Ensure Asset Management has been a godsend, and it doesn't hurt that she can sometimes dream about one of her bosses Blake, the couple have kept everything professional for two years but Zoe's ex is starting to make things even more difficult for Zoe, step in Blake with a fake dating/marriage solution, only trouble is the more times Blake spends with the delightful Hailee and her wonderful mom the more they both wish it were more, this couple put the sizzle into sizzling hot.

This is my first time reading a book in the Revel Rose Billionaires series and now I need to go back and read the first two. I love Blake. He really is a cinnamon roll alpha and his moments with Hailee are my absolute favorite! I love single parent romance so seeing those interactions were my favorite part of the book. Blake steps in to help Zoey when her ex (who definitely should have been punched) starts causing more trouble. He says he’ll fake date her to get her ex, Kyle, off her back but Blake and Zoey both have deeper feelings and things get complicated. Throughout the book I laughed out loud, I cursed Kyle and wished someone would hit him, I got sad for Hailee, I felt everything. I can’t wait to go back and read the first two in series and after that ending see how Tahlee fairs in her book!

I received an ARC of this in return for an honest review. Fateful Hearts is book 3 in the Revel Rose Billionaire Series but it can be read as a standalone. I haven’t read the previous ones and I didn’t feel I was missing out too much.
Blake (Zoey's boss) steps in to help out Zoey with her overbearing ex by pretending to date her. During the course of the story, they develop feelings but it is very much a slow burn of will they won’t they.
I just wasn’t feeling the way Hailee speaks. I personally have never met a 7-year-old who knows what a shotgun wedding is or speaks in formal sentences such as “no one should have their options limited”. It just didn’t feel authentic for me.
Overall, it was a nice book with some very heart-warming moments. There is some spice in there but more towards the end of the book with a slow build up.

This is a really sweet love book. The characters have been infatuated with each other for two years. They try not to do anything about it because its against company policy, and because they have both been hurt and caused hurt.

I wasn't sure what to expect going Into this story ... Blake is such a douche in the office and in real life buy I could see more. But Blake can't afford to mess up and pursing Zoey would be a big mistake. These two are hot messes in my opinion but they do work. Funny enough though Zoey was watching him too but she has to always remember her daughter. Can he be what she needs or will she be disappointed? It's honestly a cheesy sweet book.

Single mum, billionaire, found family! Ah-mah-zing. Have loved this whole series. No 3rd act break-up. Hailee is such a cutie and has Blake wrapped around her finger. Can’t wait for more in this series. Past characters pop back in and we get updates on their lives. Interesting angst with Kyle booo.

Loved Zoey and Blake’s story, it was very heartwarming. I loved the way Blake was with Hailee! Though I felt that Kyle deserved more of a punishment for his actions and behavior especially after the info Blake had found. I’m loving this series!

Fateful Hearts is the third book in the Revel Rose Billionaires series by K. E. Osborn. This one is a single-mom, fake relationship office romance, and I really enjoyed it. I knew I would like Blake's story, and I was not disappointed. It was so nice to be back in this world.
Blake and Zoey had secret feelings for each other, but they were unaware of each other's feelings. They decide to fake-date to try to get Zoey's ex off her back, and their relationship progresses from there. The story was good, and I was so happy to see Blake, Zoey and Hailee get their HEA. I would definitely recommend this one.

Oh my I didn't know what to expect from this book but wow!
Your going to love Blake and Zoey right from the start but what really makes this book good is Hayley.
Blake is well her boss till he comes up to intervene with zoeys ex do we get to see that the chemistry between the two have been brewing from the start. But what Blake doesn't know just yet is Hayley stole his heart right from the start. Zoey has watched him from afar foe a while but the night balls stepped up in a way she didn't expect well her heart fell for him and even more so when she saw him interact with her daughter .
But you have to read the book to find out just how they become a family at the end.
I hope to read more from this series soon

When Revel Rose Billionaires started I thought Zoey and Lucas would be each other's love interest, then Blake came along and I couldn't help but think that they would be perfect together, and I make no mistake about them: Zoey & Blake were everything I hoped for and K.E. Osborn gave me everything I didn't know I wanted from them with amazing plot twists, the sexiest, sweetest and most tender love story, and letting me see more of the lives of the series' characters.
I have had a soft spot for Zoey since Hostile Hearts, she is a single mother who does everything to make Hailee happy, a VERY professional woman and committed to her work and that she has a fun and flirtatious side to her personality that makes me love her character so much more. Her life is not easy thanks to the constant presence of Kyle, her ex and her 's father, and Zoey's feelings for Blake are increasingly difficult to ignore, especially after seeing how tender and sweet he is with little Hailee, how much he cares for both of them, and the way he gives them everything they've always deserved.
Blake has been a complicated character since the first book, and even though I kind of hated him after reading his story with Nash, in Fateful Hearts I totally fell in love with him! I love his grumpy & serious image at the office, and how loving, adorable and attentive he is to Zoey & Hailee, plus I really enjoyed reading about him figuring out what he really wants in life from his proximity with them. I was also very happy reading more about his friendship with Brianna and how much they love and care about each other.
The love story between Blake & Zoey is a fake dating that becomes a marriage of convenience in a very original way and that I really enjoyed reading: I liked that everything was Blake's initiative, that he sees Zoey & Hailee as his little family from the first moment they start their fake relationship and that he and the little girl bond immediately, although I have to say that Hailee's dialogues took me out of the story at times, sometimes it seemed that a teenager was speaking and not a 7-year-old little girl, even so, I think the three of them are just too adorable and tender. I also loved that Zoey brought out the strong, courageous side of her and put Blake & Kyle in their place when necessary.

He tenido una debilidad por Zoey desde Hostile Hearts, ella es una madre soltera que hace todo para que Hailee sea feliz, una mujer MUY profesional y comprometida con su trabajo y que tiene un lado divertido y coqueto en su personalidad que me hace amar infinitamente a su personaje. Su vida no es sencilla gracias a la constante presencia de Kyle, su ex y el padre de su hija, además, los sentimientos de Zoey por Blake cada vez son más difíciles de ignorar, especialmente después de ver lo tierno y dulce que él es con la pequeña Hailee, lo mucho que se preocupa por ambas y la manera en la que les da todo lo que ellas siempre han merecido.

La historia de amor entre Blake & Zoey es un fake dating que se convierte en marriage of convenience de una manera muy original y que disfruté mucho leyendo: me gustó mucho que todo sugiera de la iniciativa de Blake, que él vea a Zoey & Hailee como su pequeña familia desde el primer momento que empiezan con su noviazgo falso y que él y la pequeña formen un vinculo de inmediato, aunque tengo que decir que los diálogos de Hailee me sacaron de la historia en algunos momentos, a veces parecía que estaba hablando una adolescente y no una niña de 7 años, aún así, creo que los momentos que los tres comparten juntos son demasiado adorables y tiernos. También me encantó que Zoey sacara su lado fuerte, valiente y que pusiera a Blake & Kyle en su lugar cuando fue necesario.

A fated love
I've been loving the Revel Rose Billionaire series and FATEFUL HEARTS was another wonderful addition. A single mum, fake relationship, workplace romance that was thoroughly entertaining. I loved Blake Branson and Zoey Zavorelli's story, it held me captivated from the moment I began reading it.
Two years ago Blake became co-CEO at Ensure Asset Management alongside his once rival Nash Harrington. In business he's known as being cold hearted and ruthless, totally opposite to the private man, one who had a wicked sense of humour, a huge caring heart, and is extremely possessive and protective. Zoey also works at Ensure as Nash's PA, she's the one who keeps the company running smoothly. She's simply gorgeous, a hard-working mum who does everything to give her daughter Hailee the life she deserves. She's also trying to maintain an amicable relationship with her douchebag ex, Kyle. Blake and Zoey have feelings for each other but have never voiced them. Everything changes when the douchebag turns up at Ensure to announce he's getting married and turns nasty, Blake steps in and announces that he's Zoey's boyfriend. Let the fun and games begin!!!
Due to circumstances Blake and Zoey enter into a fake relationship, but because of their hidden feelings for each other it wasn't going to be easy. I absolutely loved them together, their banter was hilarious, their chemistry sparked, and the sexual tension was explosive. I was captivated by them; they were so good for each other. I adored the relationship that formed between Blake and Hailee, he became the "father" she deserved. I loved that he included her in activities, the roller-skating scene was hilarious. He idolized both Zoey and Hailee, and it didn't take long for them to become a little family. What will happen when the deadline for their fake relationship is reached? Will they go their separate ways, or will they finally declare their love?
FATEFUL HEARTS was a beautiful love story. The love that was between Zoey, Blake and little Hailee was adorable. I loved that Blake slotted perfectly in Zoey's life; they were made to be together. KE's perfect words produced a wonderful story with hot spice, a little drama, wonderful characters, heartfelt moments, and a love that was meant to be. And that epilogue ... it was the icing on the cake.

OMG I’ve been waiting for Blake’s story ever since the beginning of this series and after that ending with Zoey’s ex I was ready to their HEA!! And, lemme say I knew then that her ex was a douche but ugh he was worse than I thought.
Blake’s made some mistakes in the past but in the last two years he’s been working hard to make amends and move on from it. The minute he walks into work and spits Zoey, Nash’s PA he was done for. But, thanks to Nash’s very strict no dating rule in the office he can’t even try it or he’d be gone and he can’t afford it.
One night when the gang meets at Revel Rose Zoey’s ex show’s up causing a nasty scene with their daughter in tears it does something to Blake. He swore to himself he’d never let Zoey and her daughter Hailee be treated like that again from her ex.
Zoey has had a crush on Mr. Branson aka Blake since he became partner but she’s a rule follower and can’t afford to loose her job Bc she’s drowning in her ex’s debt while trying to raise her daughter.
When Kyle storms into the office attacking Zoey, Blake steps in to let Kyle know that he won’t talk to his girlfriend like that. Zoey’s caught off guard but goes along with it.
Blake offers to be her fake boyfriend until her ex gets married in hopes that he’ll back off of Zoey. Zoey wasn’t sure how it would play out but she decides to go along with it.
But, the more time Blake, Zoey and Hailee hang out the harder they fall for each other until they realize that they don’t want this fake relationship to end. But, between Nash’s rule and Kyle making Zoey’s life hard is making hard for them to just give into what they really want. But, they refuse to give up on each other and the family they’ve made regardless of the circumstances.
This book was amazing! I wasn’t sure how I felt about Blake by the second half of Nash’s book but I’m Lucas’s book he really grew on me and now that I’m finished with this book I’m so in love with him it’s unreal. He really did everything to make Zoey and Hailee smile.
Zoey’s one strong woman and mother. She def chose wrong with Kyle and he made sure to make her life miserable just Bc he had more money and could. But, her and Hailee still had a good life together.
I was very happy watching Blake get the upper hand in getting Kyle what he rightfully deserved LOL.
Tahlee’s story is next and OMG I’m looking forward to seeing what happens after reading that epilogue.

To be honest, when I first met Blake in one of the previous books in the series, I wasn't impressed, but I put him in the category of "beautiful to the eye" and didn't have high hopes that I would like him as a character. But the moment I started the book I was hooked from the start. 🫢 Blake has many different faces, each more intriguing and captivating.
🥀Zoey is wonderful and amazing. She is great at her job and very organized, and thanks to her, everything in the company runs smoothly and without problems. As a mother, she is caring, self-sacrificing and very, very loving. It has the biggest and most beautiful heart, with Hayley at the center. Her sweet, kind and very, very smart and resourceful daughter. Haley is also one of the characters that steals your heart from the first meeting.
🥀Blake and Zoe's story begins two years ago when they first met. As their story unfolds, their feelings fade and their love blossoms like a rose. Strong, hot and sweeping.
🥀The author has also done a great job in building the main villains. I managed to hate them right away. And I can't wait for you to get the payback you deserve for your bad deeds.

If there is one book that you are looking to put at the top of your TBR list, I would say Fateful Hearts is the one. Ms. Osborn delivers an emotional, gripping, heartwarming and heartbreaking story that is impossible to put down. The idea that one person can change your whole life from one filled with hurt, anger and pain to one full of hope, joy and love, is something that we would all live if we were in that situation.
Fateful Hearts give us Zoe, a single mom to a beautiful and sassy six-year-old Hailee, who is breaking her back to pay off loans of her ex-boyfriend and Hailee's dad. She loves her work but most of all she loves her daughter. When a situation makes her uneasy, one of her bosses, Blake, steps in and helps her. He offers to be her date and pretend that they are a couple. No problem right because he was her boss, nothing could ever happen and to top it off Hailee and Blake seemed to have s connection that Zoe can't explain. Well time together, spoiling Hailee and putting Zoe on a pedestal had Zoe feeling things that she knows she shouldn't. Will she cross that employer-employee line that could ruin both of their lives? Blake keeps telling everyone that it is just to help a friend but deep down he is falling head over heels for Zoe. What happens at the wedding changes everyone's lives in more ways than they ever thought would happen. Blake is swoon-worthy and a man that should be at the top of anyone's book-boyfriend list. Hailee adds so much to the story and will have you wrapped around your finger. She is one little girl that is wise beyond her years and will tell you exactly what she is feeling.

Well this book was another absolute corker. Flipping awesome. I literally could not put this book down.
This is Book 3 in the Revel Rose Billionaires Series and every book within this series is brilliant.
This one follows the newcomer to Ensure Management. Blake He is Brianna's best friend and Nash's Ex enemy but now part business owner. Nash and Blake have come along way since book 1 and now they actually have a friendship once again.
Blake is known as being the Stern, Serious boss the one who is in work before everyone arrives and leaves after everyone has gone home. He is focused on his career and has been known for his bachelor ways but after being at the company for 2 years and sitting across from Nash's amazing PA Zoey and this man has got it bad.
Zoey is the clog that keeps everything and everyone moving at Ensure. Being Nash's PA has been a brilliant job for her and she loves it but aside from work, Zoey is a mother to the amazing, funny, bright little Hailee (you will fall in love with her) Zoey has an awful ex who is manipulative and uses his money and power over Zoey whenever he feels like it until Blake and Zoey decide to fake date for Kyles wedding.
What starts as fake dating is quick to change for both after longing for each other for so long from afar can they keep fake dating or will the feelings and chemistry and family dynamic change it all up.
This is an incredible book with Spice, a little bit angst and some incredible characters with a brilliant story to tell.
