This is a very sciency book for Disney. Cartoon Mickey appears on every page alongside real-life photographs and facts that are more commonly found in National Geographic. The pages are very content-dense, and readers of all ages will learn new facts about many different house pets, including guinea pigs, mice, horses, rabbits, turtles, hamsters, parrots, goldfish, canaries, and, yes, puppies.

This is a Disney science book and it answers lots of good questions, like:
"How do cats land on their back?"
"Do goldfish get bored?"
"Are guinea pigs really pigs?"
and so on.
