Welcome back to the Kings of Men MC!

I’m so happy to be writing bikers again because they’re always doing something interesting, even if it isn’t legal.

This Kings of Men book happened because wonderful readers kept asking me the same question: “When are we getting the next Kings’ book?” It’s because of all the outpouring of love and encouragement that I made it my goal to get another Kings of Men book finished. I really hope everyone enjoys this story because it was definitely a labor of love that I’ve been working on since last May.

Andy Spire, the lead singer of Bleak Spire, was a character inspired by a request from a friend who wanted a rock star book in the New Gothenburg universe. The more I thought about who a rock star might date, the more I became convinced he would get along great with a King. Bikers and rock stars go together like PB and jelly. One of the Kings of Men we’d discussed in our previous books, but we hadn’t seen much on page, popped into my head—Oz Winston. Oz was one of the original Kings of Men.

Andy is entirely new to the New Gothenburg world, and he needed someone to come to his rescue! Oz was only too happy to be that guy.

Of course, this is a biker book! If you’re familiar with the Kings of Men series you know that there is plenty of violence and other rough situations. Please only read this book if you’re fine with activities and actions that one would expect from a bunch of outlaw bikers. There is plenty of action packed into the book, and as the blurb indicates, Andy hasn’t had the best time before meeting Oz. That being said, this book is also a fairly sweet romance, which I consider to be the best of both worlds.

Thank you for visiting New Gothenburg once again! Happy reading.
~Ki Brightly

P.S. I made every attempt to write this book in such a way that anyone who hasn't read any of the other Kings of Men books would be able to jump in and understand everything that is happening internally in this book and not be confused about who the other characters in the MC are or what they look like. Long story short, you shouldn't be confused if you drop in on this book to start, but of course, there are also plenty of little details that people who have read the other books will find amusing.

After eagerly anticipating a new Kings book, I was not disappointed. Oz and Andy were so great together. Even though I am not a huge fan of rock star romances, this one just worked.

Reading Andy’s story and the things he endured with Mace made me so sad for him. He keeps looking at Oz as his savior, but he truly did save himself. He decided to leave an abusive situation. Oz was just there to help him. Oz was the perfect match for Andy. He was strong, protective but sensitive enough to not push Andy past what he could handle. I also loved how Oz handled Mace time and time again. These two had chemistry that was off the charts, yes, but what they really had was a connection that both men desperately needed in their lives.

We get to visit with several other men of the Kings of Men MC, including King himself, who I am very concerned about. I am really hoping we get another story with King and Dallas, or at least some resolution regarding King’s backslide into drinking. I felt bad for poor Dallas several times throughout this book.

Overall, this was a healthy and solid addition to the KoM series and I loved it. For the heavy subject matter, Oz and Andy’s relationship was downright fluffy. A solid 4 stars for me.

One night and one act of kindness changes Andy’s life forever. When a big biker stops to help him Andy finds a man that shows him so much more than he has ever known. Oz my be scary looking but the trust and faith he shows Andy on that one night gives the young man the courage to reach out to him when he needs help.

Oz and Andy make great couple and it was nice to see the way their relationship grows and deepens. Andy was young and naïve when he was found in a dive bar and rocketed to stardom before he had a chance to breathe. I loved the way Oz is with him and the patience that he shows when helping Andy deal with the circus his life has become. It was great to see Andy begin to grow into a man and learn how to deal and understand his life. The sparks ignite between the two right from the start but Oz must find a way to keep Andy safe before they can even think of a future together. Not only did we get to see Oz and Andy’s relationship take shape but we also see the King’s and what good men that they are. They will stop at nothing to keep one of their own safe. I liked getting to see how everyone interacts and the depth of the characters personalities. I enjoyed the way that the authors took this rockstar story in a different direction than the usual plotlines that I have read before. This story is a great addition to this series and as it gives you a wonderful story it also has you excited to return to this world and its characters.

So thrilling!!

I was hooked from the first chapter!! This is a thrilling, edge of your seat read, with love, bikers with good hearts and a sweet rock star trying to escape a bad relationship. The book has so many curve balls I was rooting for Oz and poor sweet Andy to be free and safe.
So much happens in this story, with so many hints and leads into more King's of Men stories, I can't wait to see what happens next!!
gripping and suspenseful at every turn with a wonderful HEA! so good!!

This story starts with a lot of angst and drama, imminently drawing me into the story. It could have come with a couple of trigger warnings, so beware if you have certain triggers. I will add a couple of them here, but this might not be a complete list and it can also be a spoiler for the story.

I thought this book was a bit different from all the other Kings of Men MC books. Maybe because it was less about the club life and more about Andy's life as a rock-star. If you are wondering how a motorcycle club and a rock band get together, you have to read this book! It didn't disappoint me in the slightest.
Of course the club life also plays a huge part in this book and we see some familiar faces from previous books in this series, like Reaper, Arthur, Dallas and Undertaker. Alongside some new faces and even a change of scenery from New Gothenburg!

Poor Andy has to navigate a lot of issues for him to finally find his happy ending, but luckily Oz is really sweet to him. Then there are the other bikers who are helping out when stuff gets rough, and it is such a beautiful thing to see. It really is a story about found family, friends and love.

Overall, another great read in the Kings of Men MC series and I can't wait for the next book!.

So I remember this series being a solid three stars and I don't know why, especially since I'm not a fan of rockstar MCs, but this one really work for me. I liked the slow burn to their intimacy since Andy isn't in a good place. From the MC found family , the conflict , to the steam it just really worked for me. I'm also hoping there's a novella or the next book focus on whatever is going on with the president of the MC even though he already has a book because he seems to be spiralling .

I love the Kings of Men stories and this one was a real departure with Andy being a rockstar on the run from his abusive husband and being rescued by Oz who was member of the club but had a full time job being a loan officer that he hated. Andy was such sweet man who had been beaten down by his husband who was totally out of control on drugs and physically abusive and his manager who had been with the husband first and didn't help him at all. The band members had to drag Mace off of Andy in the tour bus because he was beating him and Andy took off with just his guitar that ended up being destroyed after the pawn shop owner did not believe it was his guitar.
I loved that Oz took care of Andy and brought him to the Kings clubhouse and how excited they were when he performed for them.
You learned how much Mace had abused him since he was a teenager and beaten him down and you knew that he was ripping him off for millions and that the manager was doing nothing to help Andy.
The trip to Las Vegas started out as fun trip and Oz and Andy went on a hike that was fun and very sexy. Never have been in the Bellagio but it sounded wonderful. Andy received horrifying news that his parents had been murdered and he knew Mace was responsible and then Andy is kidnapped and taken to a house Mace was renting. He wanted Andy to come back with him but he was totally out of control and ended up killing the manager and then tried to kill Andy. Oz and the other MC members rescued him.
I loved how Undertaker handled Andy's parents' cremation and shows how extraordinary he is and the Epilogue was wonderful and found Andy and the other band members playing and being better than ever and that Oz would be providing security. I am worried about King's excessive drinking and hope another story will explain it.

What a start to this story, the despair that Andy feels. So well written, it almost felt like it was my own feelings.

When this random chrome warrior, takes the time to give Andy the first bit of breathing room hes EVER had, and doesnt hold it against him when he goes back to the only thing hes ever known.
Oz had gotten bored of the standard living his day to day job offers him, but hes working hard and hoping for a promotion anyways, as that what his parents had wanted for him. When he finds Andy down on his luck he offers help, and gives him his number. He doesnt think Andy will use it, nor does he realise who he was helping.

This story, shows some of the downside of showbusiness. But it also shows family.
When the band realise Andy is walking away, they rally around him, when hes taken against his will the Kings show up for him, they get him legal help, they literally have his back and lastly, they bring his blood family back.
As for Oz, he finally gets the spark back to his life with Andy there. Andy never treats the club as less than and when he offers to help the Kings charity work, he shows he has Oz and the Kings back. He stood up for the Kings when they were looked down on. He was every bit a partner and supported Oz and the rest, not just eye candy. I think he even won over Undertaker, while Oz loved Andy for being himself and accepting him and the band asthe people they are, rather than because they were a huge rock band

Book 10 of the Kings of Men MC series, but can be read as a standalone. Even though I've not read the rest of the series, I was not confused about any of the characters or relationships.

I usually avoid avoid reading rockstar/music romances but this focused more on Andy outside of his fame and career. I'm always a sucker for an abused MC getting rescued by the second MC. This had everything I wanted (well maybe I would've wanted a bit more spice too lol). Oz always came to Andy's rescue and I loved that the brothers of Oz's biker club are always willing and free to help each other. They have such a great family dynamic going on and it was so heart-warming to read about.

Punk, Oz's corgi, was super cute as well, and I loved how he warmed up to Andy right away and was protective of him--even growling at Oz sometimes. I love all the bonding moments Andy and Punk had as well as when Oz was there and it was the three of them too, like a family.

Though there are violent and gory scenes, the book overall was not as dark as I thought it would be. Because it focused more on the relationship development between Oz and Andy (and even though it's instalove, they didn't do anything together til about half-way so more medium burn).

Can't wait to go back and read through the whole series. Everyone in the club fascinated me and I can't wait to read their stories too.

Probably the sweetest King book to ever be written lol. If you're easily traumatized like I am by sad things, this one is relatively safe for you. Also if you're a fan of Jester and Bliss, you'd like events in this book and probably don't want to miss it before reading their book. No spoilers though??

it's cute. It's sweet. It's low angst. people die. The bad guy gets left to his fate. HEAs all around. Well paced, nice tension throughout, hot as FUCK moments. Tieing in the cover to the words. like literally he appears with that and I'm not even mad. Did I mention Ozwald is HOT AF???? Andy is tooth rottingly sweet. Loved seeing most of our fan favorites again. No spoilers is really hard, okay? XD

I honestly can't understand why until Andy, no one appreciated what they had in Oz...........
10/10 would date, but Andy got him first 😪 which is also fine bc Andy deserves nice things.

Also on a scale of MegBrightly characters I wanna throttle, with a cast iron skillet bc they're actual trash, Oz and Andy appear nowhere near that list. And I found myself growing more fond of Tim thanks to this book. I also loved getting to see a little more of Bliss tbh, not just for a split second appearance, but starting to be flushed out in his own right as a character.

Another Kings of Men book? Yes, please! I was super excited to see another installment in my favorite MC series. Andy Spire, famous rock star, is running from his abusive husband. He meets Oz who wants to protect him. I loved how both men were older. Oz was so sweet, protective, considerate, and just wanted the best for Andy. Even if that wasn't with him. We all need an Oz in our corner.

Oz was a banker by day and club member when he could be. It was so interesting to see him try to balance a normal 9-5 job while still trying to be part of the MC club. He felt guilty for not being a full member of the club and he felt guilty for not being more dedicated to his job. It was fascinating to see him try to work out what he really wanted (besides Andy). He made a great point about how two rough days ruined years of steady work. You could almost feel his hopelessness in that moment. Such great writing!

I also loved seeing all our men from the club. King seems to be slipping into old habits and that makes me nervous for him and Dallas. Undertaker was his protective self over Lee. Bliss and Jester were surprising (no spoilers), and I cannot wait to read their book! I just have a special place in my heart for these men.

Andy broke my heart with everything that he went through, but in the end, he had everything he needed and wanted. I am very excited to see more of Oz and Andy in future books. I cannot recommend this series enough. This book is a perfect example of why Ki Brightly is one of my favorite authors.

I received an ARC for my honest review

I’m reviewing the audio edition. This story starts emotionally and it stays that way till the end.
Andy is lead singer of a band that includes his husband. He has reached the end of just what he can stand. He can’t handle the relationship with his abusive, controlling, cheating husband anymore.
Andy met Mace when he was 17 and leaving home. Mace taught him a lot but at the same time more and more he has become abusive and controlling and his drug abuse is out of control. Andy has little control of anything and no friends. He leaves and meets Oz. Oz is a member of the Kings but does not participate much. He has a full time job as a loan officer so has to watch his reputation. When he meets Andy his life completely changes.
I loved the alpha in Oz. As Mace’s obsession with Andy increases, Oz includes the Kings more and more. I enjoyed the appearance of King and I like Oz’s story about when he and King were young.
This was a story to completely held my attention from beginning to end. The narration by Keval Shah fit the characters completely. He made the listening enjoyable.

First of all… adorable.
Secondly, ADORABLE.

Anyway, King’s killer was first book from Ki and Meg I read, and to be honest it was solid. Like nothing special but I’m so glad I kept reading because holy fuck books just keep getting better and better. I love how far Ki and Meg have gone in their writing since then and how I seem to fall in love with this and their other series each time new books come out.

About book itself. Book involving Undertaker, Jester and Bliss cannot be bad for starters. I loved all of their scenes. They make me so happy. Main characters, I love them both equally. I enjoy fast paced settings authors have in their books so I really enjoyed their relationships. I especially loved Oz, he seems so sweet and i just want both of them to be happy. I was more mad at King than Dallas tho. Get your shit together my dude.
Also Dash? Wanna see more of him.
All in all super cute book.

I was super excited about another Kings of Men book, and it doesn’t disappoint. The chemistry between Oz and Andy is fire! The book merges the worlds of rockstars and bikers seamlessly. It’s the perfect touch of romance and heat mixed with a bit of suspense and a lot of action. It was awesome seeing more of Jester and Bliss. I can’t wait for their story. I loved the hint of more going on with King and Dallas. And it’s always a pleasure to see Undertaker mentioned. Ki Brightly expertly handled the heavy subject matter of domestic violence, tackling the hard issues and outcomes in a way that few authors can do well. The story itself has some intense moments, but it remains fairly low angst. It was great seeing all the Kings bind together and support Andy, welcoming him into the family. I’m eager to see what comes next in the New Gothenburg world!.

The relationship between Mace and Andy was toxic and gutwrenching and tore me up. I would have liked more about Oz and Andy and less psycho drama with Mace. My guts were in knots wondering what evil Mace would rain down on Andy and anyone connected with him. I don't like feeling half sick through much of the book. I like suspense, but this relationship tormented me unbearably, probably because I lived this when I was younger in my own home and it triggered me greatly. Andy broke and stole my heart at the same time from the beginning. I wanted to protect and keep him safe too. Not a fan of rockstars, but Andy wasn't typical, and I liked that. There were so many injustices that didn't get answered or karma dealt out, that I just felt so distraught I cried for a long time after I finished this book. Hoping for justice in coming books.

The last line in this book says that “he had brought the best part of New Gothenburg with him” and that’s what this book is as well. New Gothenburg is fictional but it definitely lives in my head as a real place because of all these books. This book about Kings of Men biker Oz starts when he helps a famous rockstar called Andy who is in trouble. The story carries on from there and eventually takes us out of New Gothenburg to Las Vegas. I love how carefully Ki Brightly has treated a very serious subject and how she brings in not only the other Kings of Men but various other bikers as well. There are lots of elements that seem to hint at future plots for books and I don’t think we will see the end of this series as long as Ms. Knightly’s imagination holds up. Yahoo.

I absolutely love getting more of the men from Kings of Men MC and Oz is a delight!! Despite all the fighting and illegal parts of an MC, Oz is just a big old teddy bear and he wanted to find his HEA just like King and Dallas and all the other couples. I adore Andy!! He was just so pure and sweet and deserved all the love and good things life has to offer. I loved seeing Undertaker smile at someone who wasn’t Lee. He had a soft spot for Andy that was so f*cking cute!! Madden and his sassy little self was just hilarious!! Jester and Bliss…**NO SPOILERS**… but that was great and I can’t wait to hear more about them. King and Dallas…makes me wonder if something is going on there with King. Overall this was an amazing story!!.

Emotional Rollercoaster

This book is exactly what you would expect from a Kings of Men MC book. I felt overwhelming sadness for Andy. He was the sweetest dark angel there ever was. The abuse he suffered was terrible and that monster of a husband of his was not just a crazed druggie but also a sleazy predator. And that manager made the music industry look bad. Oz was the perfect beast for our beauty, though and Andy got his well-deserved happy ending. The Kings of Men may be killers when needed but they have the biggest hearts. I love them and these books. I hope to see more of them.

Thank you Ki Brightly for this installment. And I thank both you and M.D. Gregory for your collection of work. I'm glad I've found you.

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Performance: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The story had me hooked from the beginning!
Andy is trying to escape his abusive husband and meets Oz on the run.
I took Andy to my heart from the beginning. He is a very sympathetic rock star and I found myself wanting a man for him who would love him and not use him like a cash cow.
The story was suspenseful and exciting to the end. There were some unexpected twists that kept the tension high.
The bikers had their hearts in the right place, even if they sometimes appear otherwise to the outside world.
The story was entertaining with action, music, bikers, suspense, love and a happy ending.

The narrator Keval Shah did a great job bringing the story to life.

Andy is a member of a band being abused by his husband. Oz, a Motorcycle Club(MC) member rescues him and they fall for each other. With all M.D.'s books about the King's MC there is action, trouble with the police and guys who will do anything for their men. Oz is such a protective bear and Andy really needs help. I love these MC guys and they are all back, including the lawyers and the MC guys' significant others. This was an enjoyable book bringing a Rock Band into the club and going to other cities. I received a copy of this book from Booksprout and this is my honest opinion.

This is definitely one of the best Kings books ever and I have loved them all so that is saying something! OZ and Andy are swoon worthy. Oz deserved someone like Andy, and I was so happy he found him. Poor Andy is one tough little guy finally standing up for himself. I enjoyed that both these guys are around 40 and working to get what they want out of life and romance. They are so hot, yet so sweet together. There is so much acceptance and support and the King's all step up to help Andy and Andy returns the favor in his own way too. Really enjoyed this one!

It has been a while since we have had a kings of men book Di I was eagerly awaiting this release and it did not disappoint.

We had not heard much of OZ in the other books other that he worked at a bank which was unusual in itself.

The other character in the book Andy is a well known rock star and there is DV involved if that is a trigger for you.

I love these books as they a raw, the characters are colourfully and interesting and Ki knows how to write a sex scene. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Needing to escape from the relationship he was in, rockstar Andy takes a chance one night and his unlikely saviour comes in MC member Oz.
Oz was more of a supporting character in the previous books and this was his time to shine.

I loved seeing these older characters come together and try to build a relationship together. One man in need of protection and another who is dealing with his own personal issues make for an interesting match.
The way the Kings stepped up to help Andy was fantastic.

This was a great addition to the series.

I get different feels with these King's books. Undertaker fascinated, Barber had me entertained but Oz...OMG...Oz had me swooning...this was appropriately named...he was definitely a knight to Andy. This book right here is why I love romances and wish I had a Oz in my life. Eventhough there was some tragic and awful stuff that occurred throughout this story, Oz and Andy's budding and finally solid relationship shine through it all. 5STARS...I LOVED IT!.

Andy and Oz Rock!

From the moment Andy steps out on the page I instantly loved him! I was totally hooked and desperately wanted his big burly biker to come rescue him, his Silver Knight.
I love when an author can completely capture my attention and empathy about a character right from the start. Makes me forget everything around me and want to find their HEA with them. Ki Brightly certainly achieved this with King's Silver Knight.
I think we all can relate to Andy in some way and that's what makes him so special, plus I absolutely LOVE a hulking, possessive biker growling at anyone who touches what is his *swoon*.
I thoroughly enjoyed King's Silver Knight and can't recommend highly enough.

Ki Brightly once again writes a fantastic book! I loved this rockstar romance. Men being abused in a relationship whether it’s a gay or straight relationship, is so rarely talked about and I think Ki Brightly did a great job describing that scenario. No matter what your gender or size is, you deserve to be treated with love and respect by your partner and I loved reading how loving and understanding Oz was for Andy. Their love story is adorable and steamy and you don’t want to miss this book!

Another great book in the Kings of Men MC series and Ki!

This story has lot of angst and drama.

This book was more about Andy's life than the motorclub but I still appreciate and learn about the rockstar life! Oz is so sweet with Andy, I want to see more.
Also we see some familiar faces from previous books in this series, like Dallas, Undertaker and others. Alongside new faces and a different city!

I can't wait for the next book!
