It was a good read it wasn’t bad at all. If you like a cute mafia romance that doesn’t drag then this book is for you
I loved how possessive Theo was with not only with Maddie but also Lilah he took them both in and how Luca gave her his kidney like what 🥹😭
Maddie was amazing she was a strong female lead and I loved how she always stood up for her self and didn’t fall straight away
The only thing that bumped this down was that it was a little tooo fast paced. I would like to have seen more of a plot regarding maddies parents because when Theo told her she knew so it wasn’t the big reveal I was waiting for.

For me, romance is enjoyable because you get to see the developing connection between the main characters. In this book, that sort of emotional development was virtually nonexistent. These two characters go from complete strangers to together forever way too fast for my taste. The end of this book was also extremely abrupt and I didn’t feel like the thread about Maddie and Lilah’s parents was satisfactorily wrapped up. I just felt like this book was too short to give the story adequate time to develop. I’m currently reading a different book my this author and enjoying it a bit more but this one was just too close to insta-love for my taste.

I have not read the books prior to this one that centers around the parents or older family members, so I felt like a bit of the backstory about the parents etc. went right over my head, but it didn't make me feel like I was missing important information concerning the current MC's.
This was definitely love/lust at first sight for both but mainly for Theo. He was obsessed and desperate for her attention from the second he saw her and stalked her in order to even be near her in any capacity. He does come off as intense, but he doesn't make any moves beyond being around her, he doesn't force himself upon her beyond his presence.
I loved his dynamic with his brothers, and I loved her dynamic with her sister and best friend. Maddie was fierce, she worked relentlessly to make ends meet for her little sister who needed a new kidney and was currently receiving dialysis.
Theo, being the knight in shining armor, took it upon himself to not only protect her but to also make sure her younger sister received the best care and was never left out. I adored his protectiveness of her throughout the book.
Maddie does spend a good portion in the beginning not allowing him closer to her and has him losing his mind over the fact he just wants to be with her, and she is being difficult lol
Theo was the ultimate OTT and he was not afraid to show it.
There is no OW/OM drama from either and we never see any of his exes, but we do know from a few comments he was a manwhore prior to her but never felt anything close to what he feels for her. Maddie was not a virgin and had a past that were barely know about.
The thing that did not make me so happy was the lack of depth between the characters, we didn't really get their emotional connection tbh. It all happened so fast that we did not have time to see them find out more about each other on a deeper level.
I was glad that SHE knew who her parents really were and unlike other times she wasn't blindsided by it, instead knew the truth since their parents never kept secrets but sadly, they died because of it. The connections at the end were a bit too dramatic for me but it's all fiction so it's alright.
We end the book with them being engaged and getting ready to get married.
I am intrigued by the three other brothers so I will be reading their books in the near future.

I love how this couple meet… They meet at a coffee shop and the hero have been stalking the heroine ever since🥺🧡 Not a big stalking move though… but still stalking and it’s actually very sweet and romantic 😍😍😍 Especially since that day he never ever stop thinking about the heroine and pursue her sooo bad…. I LOVE THIS TYPE OF HERO 😍😍😍😍 AND LIKE SINCE THE DAY HE SAW HER IMMEDIATELY THE STORY BEGINS WITH BOTH OF THEM… AND WITH THE HERO PURSUE THE HEROINE EVERY SINGLE FREAKIN DAY😍❤️
Since in the beginning of this book i already feel the strong romantic chemistry ❤️❤️❤️ It kept me going 😆
So the story starts with the heroine is late for her work at the coffee shop but only like ten minutes late. When she was in a hurry to go to the caffe, she bump into someone while she was also holding her own coffee… A hard chest of a man wearing a suit and very tall. And it was the hero. She spilled some of the coffee to the hero’s chest and arms… And no he didn’t get mad about it… He was actually mad at her boss that was mean to her when she was late. And since that day the hero literally became soooo obsessed with the heroine and stalk her almost every single day…. He even have a nickname for her “Bambolina” on the first day he saw her… The heroine have two jobs and even at her second job in the bar at night, the hero make sure to go there as well… The second day he went at the bar, the heroine was talking with her male coworker and the hero got so extremely jealous 🤣 I LOVE IT WHEN THE HERO IMMEDIATELY GETS SO POSSESSIVE! YES!!!

I think I've got an idea of where a book is going and the next twist or turn, but nooooo I'm always wrong when it comes to Kylie,s writing. When a one of her stories comes to an end your always left wanting more as you have enjoyed it so much.
Meet Maddie and Theo in this story. Theo is the offspring of Theo senior in a previous series all grown up and ready for his own story to come out.
Kylie didn't disappoint in keeping you on the edge of your seat again. You think Maddie is just another barista working to keep her sister well enough to get a kidney transplant. They both have a story of their own and that comes out in the book. Theo is the underboss to his dad so lives a dangerous life. The plot itself I didn't see, the falling in love with Maddie that I did see as when these men fall for a woman they fall hard.
This book is the first in the next series and can't wait for the rest of the others to come out.

Wow, this was uninspired and AWFUL. Theo has zero personality aside from “handling” his family’s business and obsessing over Maddie for literally NO reason. He doesn’t think she’s attractive or special, but his dick won’t turn off so I guess it’s love.
Maddie is a typical beleaguered rescue waiting to happen. She’s “independent” but barely surviving because she’s supporting her little sister. Naturally their parents died, but wait! - they’re “mafia royalty” in hiding. She immediately thinks Theo is hot, but doesn’t want to be involved with any mafia types, so half-heartedly avoids him.
Soon they’re screwing and the sex scenes are so very bad, I can’t even adequately express how terrible they are. They are not sexy. They seem almost robotic and scripted, or hastily tacked on as an afterthought.
The writing in general is poor. In one instance the author refers to Maddie’s “back hole” if that helps anyone decide whether to pursue this trash.

This was one of my first true delve into mafia romance and I am not at all disappointed. I will say that I was slightly concerned that I wouldn't understand everything as this is a follow on series, but everything was super easy to grasp and wasn't confusing. I think this well done on Kents part as she has listed this as being able to be read as a stand alone.
I adored Theo, he was definitely possessive but I think that's apart of mafia romance males and I don't have a problem with it. He was really caring of Maddie and wanted her to be looked after and that was like his base need for her. He was pushy but also to some regard let her take her own time to get to know him. I honestly could not calm myself down with how much I LOVED that Theo was caring for Lilah, Maddie's little sister, and it seemed as though he actually cared about her and wasn't just doing it to get ins with Maddie.
I really appreciated that there wasn't any sex between the MCs until the 60% mark. As their relationship was instant attraction and a little insta-lovey I really appreciated that there wasn't sex until further in. On the same topic they didn't have their first kiss till after she'd met his family which I thought was so whole-some even though it came about in a comedic way.
Possibly my only issue with this book was that it was maybe a little too fast-paced? I think some things could have been a little more fleshed out. Particularly the conflict.
Other than this one thing this book was really fun I liked the characters and I'm excited to read the other characters romances! I think if you're looking for a fun, fairly light mafia romance this is it.

This was the first book by this author that I have read and I think this story was well-done. It did seem a little fast-paced which had me confused in some parts so for that I did deduct some points.
I did find this book to be an enjoyable read and I really did like the characters.
The relationship was very insta-lovey which isn't my favorite but I was glad that they didn't jump right into being overly sexual.
If you like mafia romance books, it's likely that you'll enjoy this one :)

Firstly, thank you Kylie for giving me an ARC copy of relentless devil. I haven't read a mafia romance for waaay to long and this was the perfect book back into the world of mafia men and their lack of understanding of the word no.. 😂
The first book of the Sons of Valentino focuses on Theo, the heir to the Valentino legacy and not a man used to not getting his own way. When Maddie literally runs into Theo in her place of work he know's there's something about her which keeps him coming back for more.
His alpha tendencies don't allow him to be anything other than in control and for poor Maddie it's a lot to get her head around. Working two jobs and caring for her sister she doesn't need 'Mr Tall-Dark-and-Solid' to come in and cause her even more problems but it doesn't seem that Theo has any intention of walking away from his new obsession.
This book is fast paced and Theo will have you swooning soo damn fast. Underneath his mafia persona he's actually such a big softly! and his relationship with his brothers and Maddie's sister just make you love him even more!
Such a brilliant start to the series and I cannot wait for more! (Please please please let Luca and Lilah be a thing.. I mean the man gave her a body part!!) 😂😍

An exhilarating, none stop, addictive read...I did not want to put this book down...
Theo definitely gives his dad (Theo Senior) a run for his money in the protective, loving, gorgeous alpha role.
Maddy now she is a girl that won my heart immediately. Strong, stubborn and not easily caught.
This book made me laugh, swear, almost tear up and promise violence. As well as have a new found respect for the mafia world and the people Kent has created.
Kent has a way of writing that you cannot help but love and become invested in the work, even with the supportive characters all of a sudden you need more.
Please note you do not need to have read any of the previous Valentino Empire series books to understand and it can be read as a standalone. However if you want a greater understanding of family dynamics I would recommend it.
I want no I MUST have more from the amazing family... Their stories are addictive pleasure that cannot be beaten.

I absolutely freaking loved Relentless Devil by Kyle Kent. Once I started reading, I was hooked. In fact, I stayed up into the early morning to finish this book. Sleep is overrated. Maddie is a firecracker. She is so spirited and that is what Theo loved about her. He never knew what she was going to do or the things that would come out of her mouth.
Theo may have had an instant attraction to Maddie but the same could not be said on her side. This is what I loved the most about these two. There was no insta-love. It was more of a enemies to lovers. Yet, I would let Theo stalk me anytime. I can't wait to read book two.
Theo may have had an instant attraction to Maddie but the same could not be said on her side. This is what I loved the most about these two. There was no insta-love. It was more of a enemies to lovers. Yet, I would let Theo stalk me anytime. I can't wait to read book two.

Okay, I ADORED this!!
This was the perfect mix of dark, spicy and low key cute!!
Everything about these characters was loveable! The mmc was an actual cutie despite being a bit of an obsessive stalker and we all knew that he would do anything for his love🥹 I also adored how feisty the fmc was, like she was IM STRONG AND INDEPENDENT but having a hot mafia man to protect me from the evils of the world is nice too
AND THE FOUND FAMILY VIBES?!? I need all of their stories IMMEDIATELY because I was desperately clinging on to the little bits we got to see of the other characters

Maddie is doing everything she can to keep her sister healthy and alive. Working two jobs, sleep deprived, and solely focused on her sister. When she inadvertently bumps into Theo Valentine, the underboss of the Valentino's she has no idea it is going to change the course of her life. Theo keeps popping up everywhere she is and although he tries to get her to know him she keeps rebuffing him. It only makes Theo more determined to have Maddie by his side. Can he keep her and her sister safe when trouble is brewing around them?
This was a fun one, Theo is obsessed with Maddie. Maddie has the weight of the world on her shoulders and is a remarkably small woman. Great chemistry and characters, looking forward to reading more in this series.

I cannot get enough of the Valentinos. I adore Kylie's high powered mafia main men and their great loves. They fall so super fast and have such strong possessive and protective instincts. This is Theo Jnrs story. Like his father before him he is a reluctant mafia boss, groomed into the role as the eldest boy. He has so many of his Dad's characteristics. If you loved Theo Snrs story this is a must read. Theo Jnr is emotionally knocked on his bum by the feisty and devoted Maddie.
Maddie works two jobs to pay the medical bills mounting from her sisters treatments. Maddie will do anything to protect her sister and ensure she receives the treatments she needs. While working her job in a coffee shop she bumps into Theo the younger. This is insta attraction for both. But once she finds his connection to the criminal underworld she wants nothing to do with him. Maddie makes Theo work for her love. But he proves dependable, affectionate and super over protective of her and her sister.

Maddie has been providing for her and her sister since their parents passed away, she works multiple jobs just to make ends meet. So when Theo enters her life, determined to make her fall in love with him… everything changes.
I absolutely adored the characters in this book, Maddie was fiercely independent, and strong, while Theo, despite being a mafia boss was just a marshmallow for Maddie and her sister.
I loved reading the dynamic between Theo, and his family. Especially the bond between Theo and his brother Matteo. Reading how they all embraced Maddie and her sister- it made me tear up.
I really enjoyed this take on insta-love, where Theo knew at first sight it was love, and Maddie needed a little bit more time to come around. Which created such an amazing balance.
This book was fast-paced, full of scream-worthy moments, and contained the perfect mix of darkness, sweetness, spiciness, and adoration! I cannot recommend this book more for lovers of mafia romance, found family, and downright obsessive, morally grey, and slightly stalkerish men.

Maddie and Theo were cute. Maddie protested a little too much 😂😂. I was kind of over it. But then when Theo finally convinced her to let him in. Swoon.

While reading the other books in her series you get a glimpse of Theo Jr. This man is an addiction and his words melted my panties. Add in how he is with his family and he is a total package. Then you have Maddie who has incredible strength and a kind heart. She's the type of girl you want as your friend. When those two come together it was explosive. Theo can do whatever he wants with me. This is a standalone and you do not have to read her other book. You will have to read this first before his brother's books come out. This is a chefs kiss book Kylie.

I recently finished reading a mafia romance, and it really tugged at my heartstrings. The connection between the two main characters was sweet and endearing, but I couldn't help feeling like some important details were missing. The story lacked the descriptive elements I usually enjoy, and it seemed to wrap up quite hastily toward the end.
Despite this, I did find the family dynamics of the male main character (MMC) to be quite intriguing. The love and bond between the family members were depicted in a beautiful way. Additionally, I appreciated how the book laid the groundwork for the stories of the other brothers in the series.
Overall, I found the book to be an enjoyable and engaging read, but it didn't quite make it to the top of my favorites list.

First of all - the writing style was very easy and nice to read. There wasn't one character that I didn't liked and every character in the book was very well written. I just LOVE mafia romances and thanks to tge author for sending it to me for a review. I also appreciated the storyline about Maddie's sister, it made the book better and interesting. It was just something that I mever had in a book and I like books that mention serious topics. Another good point was that it was written in an easy language so even if english isn’t your first language, you should consider reading the book! The nickname Theo has given Maddie had my heart beating faster each time and the fact that it is written in dual pov. 😍

Theo Valentino has to be one of my absolute fav mafia men! They way he was with Maddie made me so swoony!
I love a good mafia romance and this one was so god damn good! We have Theo falling in love first basically as soon as he meets Maddie! Like he just knew she was the one and I absolutely loved that!
I loved how easily Theo was their for Maddie and Lilah! He was possessive and broody and the perfect man!
I loved the glimpses of seeing the rest of the Valentino family!

I really wanted to rate this higher than 3⭐️ because I loved Theo but I feel like this ended way too quick. We go from Maddie not wanting anything to do with Theo to them suddenly being in love..? Don't get me wrong, we see turning points in their relationship but it just seemed so abrupt. Even the ending didn't seem like the ending. Sure we get an epilogue of their relationship but I would've loved to see more about the girls' family roots and even Lilah's procedure.. Idk, I feel shorted.

Received an ARC of this book at midnight, read a few chapters before going to sleep, then managed to read the rest before lunch time. That in itself tells you how good this is. I love the characters Kylie creates and this book is no different. I’ve been desperate for the Valentino son books since we were first introduced to them in Ignited by him.
I was laughing out loud at some scenes, a certain phonecall and the conversations that occurred after. Romance, spicy scenes, alpha male energy and a fiery female who was no pushover. Can’t wait to read about the other brothers!
If you haven’t read Kylie's previous books you absolutely should. Not required to read this but it gives some background on the characters.
