The Fortune twins prepare for a final journey through time - with Valley Forge as their destination. It is here that they hope to find their missing father, historian James Fortune; unfortunately, Dixie comes down with the flu, and Danny chooses to introduce Courtney, his long-time crush, to time travel. They journey back to the harshest winter - and the time of lowest morale - for the Continental army. Courtney, who has been thoroughly spoiled, undergoes a great transformation - starting with her coming to faith in Christ! Dixie, meanwhile, comes across a note from her father that holds key information that could finally lead to him, and braves the journey alone to meet her brother and Courtney at Valley Forge. United, they leave Valley Forge and journey into enemy territory in New York for the chance to finally locate James Fortune and return him to the present.
