My best friend’s brother broke my heart five years ago
He left me behind after our summer together to chase his dreams in Nashville.
Now he’s back, all rich and famous, and my best friend wants us to write a song together for her wedding.
The last thing I want to do is write a love song with the man who broke my heart, but I love my best friend too much to tell her no.
He starts trying to win me back again with grand gestures and flirty lines, but I can’t give in. My mother chased my biological father down for years, and all it led to was heartbreak. I won’t repeat her mistakes.
One More Song is a second-chance celebrity romcom for fans of sweet romantic comedies. It has all the sizzling chemistry you love, without any explicit scenes. Check out this second book in the Sweet Peach Series, a four-book standalone series based around best friends in Georgia.
This series is pure sunshine! After getting hints of Wyatt and Grace in The Love Audit, I was so eager for this second chance romance!
Five years ago, Wyatt left Grace behind to chase his country music dreams in Nashville. But now he is back in Sweet Oak, together again with Grace to write a song for Lottie & Callum’s upcoming wedding. Cue the forced proximity!
Wyatt knows how to grovel, let me tell you. He was so persistent to prove his commitment to Grace. His cozy cowboy charm and thoughtful, intimate gestures instantly stole my heart. He’d do anything to simply make Grace smile.
You’re given some flashback chapters too, which I always appreciate in a second chance romance! Grace certainly had her walls up (for good reason), and I adored her sass as she attempts to resist Wyatt. You know she fails. Ha!
Another sweet, heart-melting romance. I’m really looking forward to continuing in this series!
(heat level: kissing only)
I voluntarily read and reviewed a gifted copy from the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own
A sweet clean romance that’s got all the swoony moments and ones that hit you right in the heart! She truly writes the best clean romances and they also have slight faith aspects which is always a plus. Y’all need to read this series by her. I think there’s going to be a couple more books to it and I can’t wait.
This is a second chance romance & best friends brother too 😍 Grace is the main female character that’s an introverted reader that’s loves pride and prejudice! She’s also an English lit teacher that’s amazing to her students!! Wyatt is the main male character that is a cowboy at heart and loves his family! I love their dynamic and the internal struggles they both face and have to work through. I laughed and cried and I just can’t wait to read more by this author ❤️
I did receive this as an ARC to honestly read and review! It was absolutely fabulous and I’m honored Annah and her team chose me to be on the launch team. 💕

“I want to kiss her, desperately. It’s a feeling so deep in my bones. It’s like I was born wanting to kiss Grace Winters. The emotion has been more overwhelming ever since I saw her in that blasted wedding gown a few days ago.”
I couldn’t wait for Wyatt and Grace’s story after it was teased in The Love Audit - which I loved!! One More Song didn’t disappoint. It was every bit of swoony/angsty perfection!
After five long years of no contact, Grace and Wyatt are forced to reunite in order to write a first dance song for Lottie and Callum’s wedding. I loved this setup as it made for the most delicious tension between our MCs. There were so many unanswered questions and built up emotions.
I absolutely loved Wyatt. For him, it’s only ever been Grace even though he’s been living the country music star life. I enjoyed being inside his head. His determination to win Grace back and show her he was setting down roots turned me into a puddle. And the grand gestures throughout the story?? Ughhh…swoon. The house…a certain room? Consider me slayed.
Grace was my kinda heroine…bookish, a homebody, and determined not to make her mom’s mistake…I was rooting for her. I love that she didn’t let Wyatt off the hook and gave him the pushback he so deserved. It was definitely satisfying watching him squirm. I loved seeing her walls come down with the help of amazing friends and Wyatt’s persistent wooing. This story was one big swoonfest; I can’t recommend this series enough. The tease in the epilogue has me eagerly anticipating Sophie and Bennett’s friends to lovers story!
“You think too highly of me,” I whisper. “No, you think too little of yourself.”
This was a very delightful second chance romance. It has a sweet singer hero who is ready to grovel to get back the girl he lost and hasn't left his mind since he left town. All his songs are about her and she has no idea, which is why she is determined to not fall for him again. Gracie made Wyatt work hard to get back to the way they used to be but Wyatt also never deterred and tried his best to woo her. While I liked the plot and the characters, I was expecting something more after reading all the positive reviews for this book. I guess I had set high expectations so I was a little bit disappointed but if you enjoy a good second chance romance with some swoon and angst, this is the right pick for you!
Sigh. Put music and books both in a story, and I'm a goner. I might even read a love triangle for that.
On second thought, no. No I wouldn't.
Anyway, I read Annah's first book, The Love Audit, and LOVED it. So when I heard another friend was getting a story, I wanted in on that, too, and I'm SO glad I got to read this! Music, books, second chance romance. What's not to love?
Except! I have to say that Wyatt may have attacked my personally at one point when he said, "Not all of us are bookworm homebodies with a TBR pile as big as the surface of the sun. Some of us have lives." But I'll forgive him this once.
Also, peanuts in coke? Chewing and drinking? Do people really do that? Because the thought of it makes me want to vomit! So be prepared for that little doozy! Annah, do you put peanuts in your coke? I really need to know this!
Other than those two things (😉), I recommend reading these books.
Annah, thank you so much for allowing me to be on your ARC team!
I love this world and these characters so much! I finished this book in like less then 24 hours probably 🤣 so emotional. I didn’t like Wyatt at first and didn’t think he deserved another chance but oh my goshhh seeing his pov is so sad how he wrote all those songs for her and still had pics of her in his car and the library 😭 the squirrel scene, the part where he knocked over the ladies gold fish stand, and when Grace screams is that Wyatt Parker is all so hilarious 🤣 honestly I want a best friend like Lottie she is the best ever! Lottie and Callums wedding sounded magical! Wyatt’s proposal to Grace was perfect for her ugh I can’t believe he bought that house for her with that library and then proposed in it! And his Halloween costume and naming his dog Darcy! He’s obsessed 🤣 I’m so glad they ended up together!!! Grace going to Nashville to sing to him was so cute!! Highly recommend!!

I really enjoyed The Love Audit, but this book....*sigh*. I loved every single page of it! I loved all the flashbacks so we got to see Wyatt and Grace's relationship before. Wyatt was just sooo stinkin' sweet!!! And Grace? I'm not sure if I've ever connected with a character so much. Except for her being musically inclined (y'all don't wanna hear me sing...just ask my kids), I related to her so much! I'm a total introvert who hates the spotlight, loves coffee, loves books, and doesn't want to wake up before noon. haha
I'm so excited to read Brad and Zara's story and Bennett and Sophie's!
Another smash hit from Annah! Absolutely loved One More Song! There is something about a second chance romance that always makes my heart happy.
I love that you had so many wonderful tropes with this one. There is second chance romance, best friend's brother, reverse grumpy/sunshine, and opposites attract.
I loved that we got to see flashbacks of Grace and Wyatt when they were younger (5 years previously) and then again when they are trying to figure out where each other stands once again.
I loved that Wyatt just knows Grace so well from her interests, to how she thinks, to what she loves to read. Wyatt just gets and understands Grace so well. There was some miscommunication in it, but it wasn't overdone where I was upset with it. I loved this book and cannot wait to continue on with this series.
Physical Intimacy: Lvl 2 (Kissing, non descriptive making out) Zero Swearing Dual POV
Cute second chance best friends big brother clean romance. And it involves music which is a huge plus. Dang squirrels. I think the abandonment discussion could have been more talked about but overall a really fun read and I enjoyed the roommate series aspect of the books. You get to build on stories with people and situations you already know and love. Looking forward to reading the 3rd book and rereading the 4th now that I've gotten to know everyone.
I wanted to love Wyatt & Grace SO much -- we were set up so well for them in The Love Audit. And I really did love Wyatt the whole time. Grace reached a point in the last 1/3 that was really frustrating and just turned me off to her. Also, I feel like the book climaxed too soon, and there wasn't enough juice at the end to keep it going. At about 80%, I felt like I had too much book left and not enough plot. Overall really great -- I loved it almost the whole time, but feel like it ended on a low note.
I def enjoyed this one. His nickname for her just didn’t do it for me.. hahaha, I just couldn’t get behind that. But a cute story that I enjoyed. At some points I was like girl, he loves you, has lots of money and is hot. Stop playing, don’t be dumb.. hahaha.
Of the friend group from The Love Audit, I predicted Grace would be the girl I related to most & I was right. She’s been hurt & struggles to accept love for fear of losing it.
Also, Wyatt was simply lovely with his steady, thoughtful persistence!
The story has a bit more kissing & attraction than the first one, yet it still wasn’t overpowering or excessive. And the heart of the book was deeply refreshing!
Totally random side note, but Callum gets bonus points in my book for being such a gentleman, not just to his fiancé but also her friends. The little detail about his always insisting on opening Charlotte’s as well as Grace’s door seriously made me so ridiculously happy. That’s all.
I fall in love with this friend group even more after every new story! 😍
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 (rounded up, of course!) Genre: romcom with light Christian elements Content: makeouts
So….why did I wait so long to continue with this series? Anyone?? Yeah, I don’t know either.
Wyatt Parker is back in Georgia and is putting down roots. For his sister’s wedding, he and his ex-girlfriend Grace are going to work together to write a song. Wyatt is thrilled to be in close proximity to Grace again. Grace, on the other hand, is only willing to do this because she loves her bestie…who happens to be Wyatt’s sister.
This best friend’s brother, second chance romance was so cute! Wyatt is really trying so hard to show Grace that he’s not going anywhere this time. Grace is slow to trust, which makes total sense to me. I loved her gesture to show Wyatt her feelings toward the end. I’m very much looking forward to Bennett & Sophie’s story!
Quotes I Loved: 😂"I am not half in love with him! I am not even 1/16th in love with him. No fraction of me loves him!" I yell after her.
🥹"You think too highly of me," I whisper. "No, you think too little of yourself."
❗️ “Pain is always going to be here, it's just about what kind you have to deal with."
❤️ "You've got to stop doing that," she says, turning back toward the skyline. "What?" "Looking at me like I'm more than I am." Her words are so quiet they almost blend into the music and crowds below. "You've got to stop acting like you don't deserve the world.”
Aww! I loved this book so much! After reading The Love Audit I knew I needed to see more of Callum and Charlotte and find out if Wyatt and Grace could reconcile their past and get back together! My heart was definitely happy on both accounts!
Wyatt was the sweetest! I realize he made some poor choices and left sweet Grace brokenhearted. But, I loved that he came back to make things right and did literally the sweetest things to try and make up with and apologize to Grace! I didn’t blame Grace for being hesitant and holding back after having her heart broken once, but I was so happy when her heart started to soften toward this sweet man, and they got to find their HEA!
An adorable second chance/best friend’s brother romance!!
I liked the first book even though it took a little bit to get into it good. This book to me had much more humor, and definitely more emotion, embedded through and through. Any tears shed were quickly turned to laughter, or even awe. Even what was expected from about the middle of the book… every time I thought it was about to happen, there was a twist. I think I need more of Grace and Wyatt!
this book is set in the winter in Atlanta and I read it on a nice December day during my flight to and layover in Atlanta what more could I ask for ?? this book was gonna be five stars for me but then 75% I read this sentence that I really didn’t like and I was like nope sorry this cannot be five stars solid book though I love music
This was such a lovely, clean second chance romance! I loved Grace and Wyatt, and their relationship was so sweet! Wyatt made mistakes, but he never stopped loving Grace and all the little gestures he did for her were so precious! 😍 And now that epilogue’s got me dying for the next book! 😆
This is the second book of this series and I really enjoyed it! I loved the setup of these characters in the first book and they did not disappoint!! This book was really cute and I can’t wait for the next book to come out!
DNF at 87%. The farthest I’ve ever been when I DNFed a book but I just can’t take it anymore. I think my feelings are hurt that someone told me I’d like this one…
This book felt like Taylor Swift’s first debut album to me - the song “Mary’s Song (oh my my my)” and I LOVED everything about it! These characters are just amazing. I love Wyatt’s determination with Grace. I love the flashbacks. I love everything about it. I especially love that Annah loves giving her characters marriage, and she continues it on in her other books and gives them all bonus scenes. I love how wholesome it is and it makes me want to get my husband and I some cowboy boots, blast some country songs in the car, and dance on a balmy summer’s night.
