A sexy story of teen girls navigating their way through corrupt systems and multiple ways of interpreting family and identity (nationality, sexuality, race), that dragged on a little too long. The few pages of fast, almost surprising action were interspersed with long meanders or flourishes on not much at all. My understanding was deeply hampered by my limited French-- professional, used with coworkers-- and the teenaged, slangy, dark-underbelly-of-the-city style of writing with vocabulary that surpassed Google Translator's capacities a good portion of the time.

3.5 stars.
