About the author

Stacy Rush resides in Central Iowa with her husband. She started writing in 2017 and self-published her first book in 2018. Since then, Stacy has self-published over 20 titles on Amazon and has written two series and one standalone, with another in progress on the iReader app. She is currently in the middle of writing a 5-book Dark Urban Romance series. Stacy’s title, Twisted Hunger, has recently won an award in Contemporary Fiction, General Fiction, and New Adult Fiction, with it being a Finalist in the Romance and Book Cover categories at the Literary Global Awards. Stacy has also recently put out her first audiobook with Saints and Sinners, a dark and very spicy academia romance. Absolutely phenomenal

When I first started this story, I wasn’t looking for characters to get invested in I only wanted to enjoy a new book. Well, that enjoyment went so far beyond what I ever expected & I am thankful for it. Ella & Jace’s journey is rocky, all-consuming, spicy in ways I didn’t know I enjoyed, honest (eventually), loyal, dedicated, and deeply almost obsessively loving. I can’t wait to have the kindle version of book 2! Thank you for sharing these characters & their story, Stacy!

I'm giving this a 3* because, while it was an interesting story, there were just some elements that I felt were too far over the line for my taste.

I love the premise of the story, them being life long friends who have a falling out and ultimately find their way back to one another. It was pleasant enough to read, but there are several moments, like the first punishment Jace gave her in the class and the assault in the woods, that were just too much for me. It took me several days to read this because I had to take breaks after certain chapters.

I did finish it, and I may go on to read book two, but I will warn you that if you are squeamish at all, this book probably isn't for you. This book is for people who are into hardcore, dark romance with lots of extreme steam.

I just wanted to say I so loved this book. This is the first Stacy Rush book I read. I was hooked from beginning to end. It was amazing. I so enjoyed the characters and watching them grow and mature. I have read pretty much all of her books since this one and I have never been disappointed. Let’s not forget the spice, just wow!!🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🔥🔥🔥🔥

omg I am so mad I didn’t pick up the book sooner

I absolutely love this bully Romance and the BdsM part of it. It was just absolutely amazing. I am very concerned about the ending of this story and can’t wait to see what is going to happen next. This story does have triggers so please read those but if you can overlook it, it is absolutely wonderful and I did not want to put it down whatsoever.

Hoe kan dit zo'n hoge rating hebben? Dit is echt veel erger dan die van Penelope... Jfc.. en ipv dat hij haar prive pest, zet hij haar echt voor gek waar iedereen bij is.. met behulp van vrienden. Zij heeft hier echt niemand. Geniet ver gekomen, want die is gewoon te erg. En ze is een enorme deurmat.. hij is fucking hypocriet en een klootzak..

And if you have ever thought about a d/s relationship this is a more accurate representation of one! I am here for it allllllll now on to book 2 because why stop at 1!?

I read this a sone of my earlier Stacy Rush reads and let me tell you I did not go wrong. This story was absolutely stunning. The development of Ella and Jace's story instantly had me hooked. I literally could not get enough of this story and the more it went on the better it got! This story had me very invested in how they would end up together and how they would grow. I would highly recommend this book and the series to many people. Stacy, even your early work is stunning! Keep it up, you are amazing!

Ok, so this book was good. I do find it a little harder personally to read books that involve high schoolers. Although they were seniors, that helped this was still a really good book. I believe that overall, she hit a lot of key important factors for the BDSM lifestyle. I think that was very amazing to read. ♡ i can't wait to read the next book Review by: Qu33nsara
