I love Aashi’s books for their visual appeal. She paints imagery with her words, making the reading a cinematic experience that you have to enjoy with a bowl of popcorn.

It is said the best meet-cutes are the ones that are unexpected. When you least expect it, someone enters your life like a thunderbolt. That’s what happened to Sahir. Ghazal, a rebellious, pampered daughter of a rich politician, decides to run away with her no-good boyfriend Munawar a day before her wedding to her uncle’s son. Little did she know, the person Munawar chose to help her elope, Sahir, would be the one she would give her heart to. Sahir brings her to Munawar for money he needed at the time for personal reasons. But sensing something amiss, goes back and frees her and embarks on an adventurous journey with her. Amid all this, her father, Sultan Mirza somehow finds her and to save face at the wedding the next day, he takes an unexpected, extreme step. What does he do? How will it change Sahir and Ghazal’s life? And how do they fall in love?

Sahir, an IPS officer, is hot and, basically our good boy. Shy by nature, he is gobsmacked by the sassy firebrand Ghazal, and is drawn to her like a moth to a flame, but holds himself back coz of his word to Ghazal’s dad. Ghazal is a siren, a phataka, an Insta influencer who is brash and unapologetic for her actions, but with Sahir, she beautifully oscillates between being a minx and an epitome of kindness and patience. She’s out to woo him and the drama that ensues in her pursuit of him is hilarious, evoking peals of laughter. Poor Sahir stands no chance against her, and their scenes, especially in the jungle hut and later in Simplipal are oh so hot, and their chemistry, crackling. The climax is dramatic with an twist you never see coming. I loved Komal, who always stands by her crazy cousin and sense her story to be an emotional one. Ghazal’s mom, Sahir’s mother and his brother play their part beautifully, especially her dad, who went from being stern to the sweetest in the end. If you love filmy vibes, lots of emotional drama, evocative writing and a fantastic story, read this now.

It is rightly said Love is like a wind, you can just can feel it and before you can understand what’s happening with you it sweeps you off your feet in a whirlwind of emotions. Sahir and Ghazal were no exceptions and couldn’t remain immune to each other when they coincidentally met for the first time. Sahir was a simple man with his brain at the place till he met Ghazal- the firecracker. Before he could realise she became his medicine and the pain and got tattooed inside his brain forever. If you’re thinking she made him crazy… the answer is NO; he was way past that. As you’ll get engrossed in the story, Sahir’s intense emotions and Gazal fiery attitude this story will mimic the sensation one feels while on cocaine.

They both got married under one of the weird circumstances I had ever read but I bet once you’ll start reading it, you won’t be able to hold onto your excitement to dig out the story further. Be prepared for anxiety attacks at regular intervals though in anticipation of how the story would proceed further.

Although I want to write much more but then I don’t want my review to have any spoilers. You must read to know how the well poised & reticent Sahir Ali handled sexy bombshell Ghazal Mirza. Well done Aashrif… for this stupendous story.

Well, what to say when the name itself is explaining the story. It’s all Mayehm. Be it their first interaction, or the situation, or the chaos that had caused Mayhem in their life. Or I would say Mayday mayday mayday!!!!! 😂

In the desperation of money, Sahir took the bait that had changed his life. And the Falooda he got, oh man he loved it alot. He never knew about the feelings he had until he met her The Mighty Mischievous, Sassy and the Bihari babe Ghazal Mirza. And I loved her character alot. She is the epitome of beauty in the beast of boldness. I would say that I’ve never read about a woman who is that much bold in front of her accidental-swapped husband. 😂 (well she is bold in front of everyone) but how she whipped him up around her is a long story. But he loved being whipped by his sassy wife. After being with her, he also became the Beast. 😉 (iyk )

Overall I loved the story and also I got to know about some old traditions as well.

Reading Secret Desires, knowing Shahzeb Alam Khan (had a crush on him 😉) and Zoya and their little love story to Reading Mayhem Wedding by knowing Sahir Ali and Ghazal Mirza and their crash landing in each other’s life. I’m loving it so far. I loved Ghazal’s character. I think we all girls need that boldness in some part of our life when and where it is much needed.

And yes I love you Aashi api for 😉😘our little secret. May Allah bless you and put Barakah in your work, life, health and wealth. Ameen.

What a beautiful story!
Loved the Wedding Mayhem story so much, another superb read from Aashi Irf. She has a way with words, such that when she writes she actually paints a picture for all of us to see. This book is no different.
Sahir is only helping Munawar get the girl, in exchange for some money. He doesn’t know yet that girl Ghazal, whom he is kidnapping for Munawar, is going to land in bigger trouble and he would need to help and protect her losing his own heart in the whole drama. Ghazal is a feisty little firecracker who is running away from her wedding because she is in love with someone else, someone she doesn’t know the true face of.
The story flows beautifully when Sahir and Ghazal are forced to marry each other and how their feelings change for good. This book was an absolute delight to read and I was just not able to put it down, once I had started.
Thank you, dear author, for this lovely read!!

If chaotic shaadis, fierce heroines, and grumpy-sunshine couples are your jam read this right now. Ghazal is bold, unapologetic, and unforgettable. Sahir is soft where it counts and broody where it hurts (yes please 🫠). Their banter? Electric. The drama? So desi it hurts.

Aashi Irf just gets it the emotions, the spice, the comfort of romance stories we crave after long days.

Basically, I laughed, sighed, and added this to my “I’d reread this on a rainy day with chai” list.

Highly recommend if you're in the mood for drama, love, and unapologetically bold women.

The story kicks off with Ghazal, a politician's rebellious daughter, boldly eloping from her wedding to follow her heart. But fate has other plans, and she finds herself married to Sahir Ali, an aspiring IPS officer whose simple, disciplined life is turned completely upside down by her whirlwind presence.

Ghazal is fearless, fierce, and refuses to bow down to societal norms. She's straightforward to a fault, thrives on her independence, and knows how to hold her ground, even against her influential father. On the other hand, Sahir is the epitome of simplicity, living for his family's happiness and driven by his struggles to achieve success. But meeting Ghazal brings out a side of him he never knew existed🫠.

Their journey is a rollercoaster of emotions as they navigate a marriage born out of convenience and chaos. Will this unexpected pairing lead to love, or will their opposing personalities drive them apart?

When I started reading I didn’t expect to be so thoroughly entertained! Ghazal’s boldness and Sahir’s grounded nature created the perfect storm of drama, laughter, and heartwarming moments. I loved how their relationship evolved- messy, unexpected, and completely engrossing. Ghazal’s vibrant personality had me hooked, while Sahir’s character growth made me root for him every step of the way.

To uncover how this fiery duo transforms their staged wedding into a tale of unexpected love and unforgettable mayhem, grab Wedding Mayhem. It's a story packed with humor, drama, and heart!

Sahir came across Ghazal when he undertook a task to earn quick bucks. He was just suppose to pick and drop her but their lives got entangled resulting in a Wedding Mayhem.
Sahir was not looking for love infact he was looking forward to his IPS training but suddenly Ghazal is all he can think about while his mother hates her.
Story moves in steady pace giving ample insight into characters and what's going on with them.
I really like how Aashi writes her book there is always a strong plot, well crafted characters even side characters are well written and play pivotal part in taking story forward.

Have you ever attended a marriage of convenience? Or a marriage where the bride ran away with the groom's friend? Or say a marriage where the bride is kidnapped by her own will?

Gazal Mirza, living destruction, strong-headed, full of herself, and a minx is on the path of love with the most disgusting, good-for-nothing junky. She decided to get kidnapped by him so that she can run away on the same day of her marriage which was not at all in her favor or it was just the political alliance.

Munavvar the junky gave the task to his friend Sahir, who is in the need of money to pay the fees for his younger brother. He is a struggling IPS aspirant and a very sharp and hardworking human being. He accepted the task only because he needed the money urgently. But the poor Sahir was not aware of the tsunami ahead of him which is on his way. He completed the task but never thought the end would be so drastic and his career will be at stake.

Now the situation is he cannot even move back or even go ahead with the task in his hand, also he cannot leave Ghazal in between. How will he find a way to escape this unwanted Tsunami from his life? Will Gazal ever be able to understand his dilemma? Will Sultan Mirza Gazal's father who is a politician ever allow Sahir to live his life happily or will he spare his family to live their life in peace?
Handling Ghazal is not an easy task she is a tsunami herself. There are many unwanted situations in the story but one thing is for sure the whole plot will take your heart on a roller coaster ride of emotions and romance.

I have always been a huge fan of Ashi's writing but what I love the most about her stories is the characterization, her characters are so strong and they have such a life that the whole plot feels so real and energetic. You could never put the book down unless you finish the whole book in one setting. I have always loved the way she portrays the characters, the way she put energy into them, and also those characters and how beautifully they pull out the whole story.

This is a fantastic read and nobody should miss such an amazing saga from their reading list.
A must-read.

This is the first time I was reading a book from this Author.

Ghazal, a social media sensation of the university, the only daughter of the politician Sultan Mirza who has no filter on her words and acts first without thinking through!

Sahir, an aspiring IPS officer awaiting to start his first phase of police training. His every action is calculated. He loves his family to the core.

Situations demands Sahir and Ghazal to get married and Sultan Mirza promises Sahir when the time is right, he ll make sure he gets his daughter divorced from Sahir.

In between this marriage duration, the time spent together will the sparks of attraction fly between Sahir and Ghazal or will they want to kill each other at the first opportunity given is the thing you want to know!

Will they come together and fight for each other or fight with each other? Or things will turn when Sahir's family not support the forced wedding.

Spoiler alert:
I love the chemistry between Sahir and Ghazal. Especially their banter and flirting with each other.

Ghazals character is so lively and bubbly that lifts up your mood while reading. Sahir is loveable and so supportive, strong and handsome!

Wedding Mayhem by Aashi Irf is a captivating romance that masterfully blends emotional intensity with dramatic twists. The story follows Ghazal Mirza, the only heiress of the influential politician Sultan Mirza. With beauty, confidence, and charm, Ghazal is every man’s dream, yet her life takes a dramatic turn when she crosses paths with Sahir Ali, a dedicated and ambitious IPS Aspirant .

Sahir’s structured life is thrown into chaos when he finds himself unexpectedly married to Ghazal. What follows is a journey of love, conflict, and self-discovery. Will their marriage stand the test of time, or will fate have other plans?

What stands out most in this novel is the dynamic between the leads. The chemistry between Sahir and Ghazal is electric—equal parts passionate, dreamy, and intense. Sahir's calm, composed demeanor contrasts beautifully with Ghazal’s fiery, unpredictable nature, making their interactions compelling and memorable.

The emotional layers in the story are enriched by strong supporting characters. Sultan Mirza's love and care for his daughter is heartwarming, adding depth to Ghazal’s background. Komal, Ghazal’s cousin, shines as a supportive and loyal figure—truly the kind of relative everyone wishes they had. I’m especially eager to see if the author explores her story in a future installment.

Sahir’s mother was another pleasant surprise. Initially appearing to be the antagonist, she eventually reveals her affectionate side, showing the deep bond she shares with her son.

Overall, Wedding Mayhem is a beautifully written, emotionally engaging novel that delivers on both romance and drama. Aashi Irf has crafted an unforgettable story with vibrant characters and heartfelt moments. Highly recommended for fans of contemporary romance

A story of marriage of convenience, Wedding Mayhem literally showed the after effects of a wedding where two individuals who weren't in love got married!

Ghazal Mirza is the only daughter of Sultan Mirza, who is a famous politician with lot of wealth and power. When Ghazal elopes to be with her boyfriend, she never imagines herself getting married to someone else.

Sahir Ali has recently cracked the civil service exam. He was the sole bread winner of his family and was in a tough situation when he meets Ghazal. A wrong decision that he takes ultimately leads him to get married to Ghazal.

Two people with opposite behaviours just make this book that much more fun to read. Ghazal with her bubbly fearless nature and Sahir with his tough exterior are no match for each other but still finds themselves tangled in a web of political and family drama. Even then, feelings arise between them and their romantic journey is what is being discussed through this book.

The book had a lot of great moments. One of my favourite ones was the first meeting of Sahir and Ghazal. The best thing about Ghazal's portrayal is that, she seems authentic. Her nature never changes in the story and it was interesting to read her interactions with others and her rebellion against rules.

The chemistry between Sahir and Ghazal was also good. From a slow burn to a fast burn, it shifted and they made a powerful pair. It was a delight to read this romance where you fall in love with the main characters!

A journey that started with a wedding and Ended with a wedding in a wedding mayhem.
.
" Wedding Mayhem " is a journey of a bride Gazal Mirza, who willingly abducted from her own wedding for the love of her life that is 'Munawar' against her father's will. Sahir Ali is a man who helped her in this mission. But both were unaware of the storm that was coming in their way. Soon their lives going to change.
.
▪︎Why Sahir Ali was choosen to help Gazal?
▪︎Is Gazal & Sahir become Successfull in their mission?
▪︎What happend with Gazal later in the story?
▪︎Who will become the groom of the Gazal at the end of the tale?
.
I enjoyed the story of two opposite people, their fight & craziness. Gazal & Sahir's chemistery is lovable. Its the mixture of all the elements like hate, love, care & fun. I laughed at some lines. While reading I felt the scenes were happening infront of my eyes. I felt the story was predictable too me but the ending was totally different. Language & narration is smooth, it helps the readers to feel connected with the story flow. I liked Gazal's character most.
.
If you're a fan of small town romance & enimies to lover & friend to lover trope then this book is for you, A power pack chemistry full of twist & drama. I highly recommend you to read this book.

✨️Influencer FMC

I absolutely loved this book🫶 Most of the time while reading books I generally fall for the MMC, but this book made me fall in love with the FMC.

Ghazal is such a charming and bold character, I absolutely loved her. She was so strong and never took shit from anyone, and once she makes her mind about something she will absolutely do it, nobody can stop her. She reminded me of "Geet" from 'Jab We Met'. They were so similar.

Also Sahir was such a sweetheart, the way he took a stand for Ghazal and protected her was amazing. He literally jumped into the well without thinking twice to save her, when she fell into the well. I loved this guy.

Another thing which I liked about this book was the bond between Ghazal and0 Sahil, it was so cute.

Overall,I loved this book ❤️ The chemistry and the banter between them was too good. If you love reading desi romances filled with chaos, fun and family drama then you will love this book.

I picked this book for its cover and bcoz a friend told me this is my kinda book

And she was right..I loved reading the story

The sassy Ghazal and the smarty Sahir have a perfect story to tell.... once I started reading it I din't want to put it away and I finished it real fast

I love how Aashiirf has narrated the story... simple language, smooth flow, thoda filmy, no repetitive explanations, a 300 pages read which is ideal and a good sense of humor where needed. In short seedhi baat no bakwas - just like the heroine here 😀😀

This is the second book by the author that I read and enjoyed, the first one was 'Call of Destiny' which was also a lovely read

Another winner from Aashi

Thoroughly enjoyed Ghazal and Sahir's rollercoaster ride of love. One thing I absolutely love about Aashi's stories are its freshness. They make me enter a new world and the scenes roll out effortlessly giving me a wholesome experience through the narrative. Also her characters feel very real with all their plus and minus. Keep it up Aashi, expecting more from you ❤
