sometimes, after i am finished editing something and send it off to one of my publishing partners, it feels as if it was written by someone else. that is how this little book COURAGE DOESN'T ALWAYS ROAR feels to me. it may seem odd that i read my own book at least once a week...but perhaps it is true that authors really DO write material (first) for themselves. this book contains a message that i've delivered, in some form, all my life. i find it comforting and supportive and i hope you will, too.
This small compact book is inspirational and full of definitions, examples and reasons to be courageous. The original artwork and prose will motivate, encourage and bring about a new way of thinking. I did want more from the book that I paid $10 for but it is what it is. The font was difficult to read in some spots while the watercolors and drawings made up for that lack. COURAGE DOESN’T ALWAYS ROAR is a great gift for someone feeling down, graduation or friendship.
I’m not usually a big “inspirational/motivational gift book” reader, but every once in a while there’s something that catches my eye. The message here is reasonably relative, the book is the right size and feel—I’d totally get this for a friend going through something difficult.
