Mariah wasn’t actually given a choice to be with Gabriel. He kidnapped her and forced her to stay with him for 12 days and to name a price. Not exactly romantic. I guess since she found him attractive, it softens to blow of this actually being a story about sexual assault. If you can sort of move past the fact that Mariah was sort of bullied into a sexual relationship with Gabriel, the story isn’t bad.

**I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion and review. Here it is.**
I'm going to be honest and say that I was skeptical about this one. If I wasn't such a huge fan of Kenya Wright's books, I would not have read it. But when I received the email, I went ahead and downloaded it- I do enjoy her books, and especially love holiday romance novels.
Let me first say that this book isn't one long piece of written p*rn. This is an actual novella with a plot, relatable characters, etc. The author took care to turn a writing prompt into something entertaining. She did incorporate her usual interracial, hetero relationship (and mafia) if that is something you are looking for.
Don't get me wrong- this book is a sex book. Period. If you don't want sex in your story, this is not for you. But if you enjoy a good steamy scene, pick this up immediately. She has a way with words and visuals that you don't see with every writer. There's something about the contrast between violence and love making that just *works* for her.

Forced intimacy is not sexy and not romantic. It’s rape. Gabriel did not give Mariah a choice. He forced her to name a price.
If you could get over this aspect of the plot, then the story wasn’t that bad. However, if you can’t, read another book.

Gabriel decides he wants Mariah and looks forward to destroying her innocence with 12 very dirty days packed with steamy encounters and numerous sex toys. But whilst Mariah has only known vanilla, she surprises them both with her enjoyment of the dark acts he craves. This Christmas Gabriel gets far more than he expected, and Mariah gets everything she didn't know she needed!
It may be dark and dirty but it also has it's sweet moments, I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

Gabriel went into the brothel to rid the current owner and left with the accountant demanding 12 days of her company😳. Each day Gabriel presented Mariah a naughty gift😈. A very bold Alpha move as it’s not something you’d give to someone you just met😉. 12 days is not a long time, so Gabriel made the most of it ensuring they both had a pleasurable experience each day. I appreciated Gabriel taking into consideration Mariah’s predicament easing her into the situationship😛☺️🥵. Mariah seemed a bit uneasy in the beginning but soon took reign of her emotion and newly found sexual freedom adding to the entire experience👍🏽. Gabriel conflicted with how much time he spent with Mariah was understandable as their chemistry was fire🔥🔥🔥. It was a dangerous time especially with Savio on the loose and the threat he posed😤. I have to say the way Mariah managed to put an end to the danger that had come knocking was great! I had to laugh at Gabriel’ father rubbing it in when they met🤣.
It was a short read with action, LOL moments and a lot of sexual passion ending in a HEA❤️. A great story to get you into the holiday spirit😘😘😘

Real Christmas Treat
This was delicious, I enjoyed every taste, lick, bite and fore play. I’m also improving on writing a good review. You never disappoint me on any of your story, that’s probably why I have all of them. Glad to add this to the collection, and if I’m able to find someone before Christmas to celebrate the Holidays with. We will be re-reading this story acting out some of the scenes. This girl is going to have a Ho, Ho Merry Christmas.

All I want to say is that I need me a Gabriel 🤣👀😱. At first I thought Mariah was going to be a push over but she proved me wrong. I love these type of stories that are short yet are so sweet and have you wanting more. It was so many laugh out loud parts, the sexual chemistry between Gabriel and Mariah was coming on the e-book pages 🤣!! This was a must read it was sweet, sexual, dangerous and action packed.

Once again Kenya has done it!!!! She’s always exceeding my expectations of her. I’m a HUGE fan of KW, from all the way back to “The Mouse & The Lion” series. I love all of them plus the ones in between ( her collaboration with other authors). I think she’s an awesome writer that pulls you right into her books, making you feel apart of the journey they are traveling. I always love a happy ending for our interracial couples. Keep excelling, Keep growing, and I hope you always Keep your love for writing.

5/5🌟 I absolutely love this novella. This the season for porn...in a book. Exactly that. Insta love but I loved it. I also enjoyed the writing style of this author. A lot of dialogue, not a lot of inner reflection.

OMG this book left me breathless!! It was sooo deliciously juicy from page 1 all the way to the epilogue. Kenya Wright is such an amazingly talented author. You will not be disappointed one bit reading about Gabriel and Mariah's 12 days of the best dang sexscapades EVER. I highly recommend this book. And do not skim the pages! You'll miss out on some wicked and juicy stuff. 😉😉

Not bad. But also not 5 star good.
Gabriel wasn't totally giving the mob-boss vibes. I did not like the fact that Mariah wasn't given a choice in the matter of going with him or not. I think I would have preferred a legitimate kidnapping, like carrying her over his shoulder shenanigans or even a mobster date, over the imminent threat of death and you shall do as he says initial set up.
While the smut was good and their sex scenes were good, the repetitive Oh as sex moans was annoying as well as at the end the insta-love of it.
I would have preferred that at the end they probably realized they were starting to have feelings for each other as opposed to the declarations of love.
My favourite parts were when they were talking about orgasms and they both came off as curious, Google researched, playful but also having a 'normal' conversation away from looking for the bad guy.

Twelve days was not enough
Even though Gabriel initially bribed Mariah for twelve days, he was falling fast. He wanted more time with her. She was perfect for him, she fit him to a T in more ways than one. Mariah was learning more about herself through Gabriel's tutelage. After she showed her ability to be an asset to Gabriel, she wanted more time too. After Christmas, it was forever for them.
Even though it is not quite the story I would prefer to read, Kenya always writes a good story with drama and I loved reading about the drama. For a short quick read, I enjoyed this story.
