Debby Mayne has published more than 30 books and novellas, 400 print short stories and articles, more than 1,000 web articles, and a slew of devotions for women. She has also worked as managing editor of a national health magazine, product information writer for HSN, a creative writing instructor for Long Ridge Writers Group, and a copy editor and proofreader for several book publishers. For the past eight years, she has judged the Writers Digest Annual Competition, Short-Short Contest, and Self-Published Book Competition. I couldn't finish this book. The characters weren't fleshed out well, problems were too quickly resolved, and characters seemed to be bipolar--in one scene they were happy, and the next they were not. For example, the main character was in a bad car crash that left her scarred and the driver of the other car dead. The author mentioned that the character (of the first story) had anxiety about getting back into the driver's seat, but the character managed to not have a panic attack. After such a vicious accident, I'd have imagined the character to have a harder time driving than she did.

Also, the main character got saved, but then experienced doubt. This was mentioned for a few pages, but the situation was quickly remedied after her friend told her to look up "faith" in the concordance and read verses on faith. Another situation resolved when in real life it would've taken a little longer to resolve.

It is not very often that I find a book so poorly written that I do not finish it. This book brings forth the emotional reaction of stepping in gum. It won't kill you but it certainly isn't enjoyable.

This book is about three women that have been hurt in love and their resistance to love again. It was wonderful to see how these women prayed and sought after the L-rd's will, not theirs. The three stories are different only felt they were a bit drawn out...

Loved the idea and the easy style of writing but all of the male characters are the most annoying characters I have ever read and the stories were incredibly unrealistic.
