Feels like there should be some excitement around the revelation of the Black Warp smith’s and the other stuff stuff, like master man recognizing Dickie.

Just seems like there are low stakes now.

And

I don’t like the updated art. Too modern. Too many spreads. Makes the story seem so short.

It's been a rough start for the world of comic books in 2023. Where are Slam Dunk 10s? There aren't any. This was supposed to be one of the Wow books of the year. After a rough start the first couple of issues Gaiman decided to put his Genius Hat on and deliver the goods on a brilliant set-up for what I hope will be a game changing rest of the series.
