Absolutely mindblowingly good.
You keep asking yourself "HOW is this man still standing?". Well written, full of stories that will sometimes make you laugh, sometimes make you want to cry, and all the time learn something about life or yourself. A powerful memoir, with a powerful story of life, love, loss, wins and rock'n'roll!

A deeply resonant book, disarming in both the honesty and intensity with which Michael deals with his career and his life. The level of drug abuse is staggering over a prolonged number of years. Incredibly Michael continued not only to function, but to create terrific music while seemingly rudderless, and out of control. A tale that ultimately leads to redemption and self enlightenment, but there can be no doubting the pain suffered along the way. Not for the faint hearted, and laudable for the decision to be completely open and self-reproachful. This autobiography is essential reading.
