Babygirl

One calls me Babygirl. The other calls me Pet. Both call me theirs.

I thought I was being clever, hiding out right under their noses, but Braum Vetter and Wilhelm Brunner caught me infiltrating their company. Then they made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

Now these stern, sexy billionaires own me, and they plan to make sure I know it. They're going to strip me bare and spank me thoroughly for the slightest hint of defiance, then share and enjoy me as shamefully they please, ravaging me wherever, whenever, and however they choose.

But as I lay between them night after night wet, sore, and well-used, something is happening.

I'm not only starting to like having a daddy and a master. I'm starting to need it.

Now I just have to make these bastards do the one thing they've never done before.

Fall in love.

Publisher's Note: Babygirl is a full-length romance novel that includes spankings, rough, intense sexual scenes, and strong D/s themes. If such material offends you, please don't buy this book.

DNF at 52%. A dom who punishes a sub with silence isn't a dominant, but an abuser. The two MMCs did not care that the MFC suffered physically and emotionally when they ignored her. The entire relationship was completely transactional: if the MFC doesn't do what they say, then she's nothing to them. Really unpleasant book, and not in a "dark," kinky way, but in a really cruel, hateful way. Maybe it got better? I didn't care enough to find out. This was not my definition of a "romance" since no one would treat someone they claimed to love like these two men treated a very young and vulnerable woman.

Coded for you

I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this book. It’s a new to me author and I’m not usually one to pick the little reads. Too much brattiness and chaos for me normally, but I was pleasantly surprised by this story. The Princess was a brat, more because of the way she was raised, but she was also brilliant and engaging, and I couldn’t help but become invested in her plight. And the guys were just as amazing. Deep, brooding, and breathtakingly handsome with an air of mystery and hurt hidden beneath a carefully constructed facade. I enjoyed the intensely dangerous and complex storyline and the journey to their HEA. Overall this book was absolutely amazing and I am looking forward to reading more by the author.

Jacey is in trouble and her only option is to go to Braum and Wilhelm for protection. They agree but she will become their baby girl/pet and soon sparks are flying but will Braum and Wilhelm let her go once their deal is complete? Fast-paced read with sizzling scene. Loads of drama, emotion and intense chemistry. I loved it!

Okay some parts of this very hot. VERY. Other parts very not hot. NOT. I’m all for spanking and punishment but when it’s because of the person dealing it out it’s not fun or fair. They are really mean to her but she “loves” it is stated so many times. It’s not sexy during anal sex when she screams in it hurts and stop. Then you do it harder and make her cry. It’s eluded the guys are in love, but there is not solid interaction between them to support it. The timeline jumps make no sense.

There are typos and errors.

I’m sure I am in the minority here, but overall not a good read

Rapey degradation kink book.
Not my cuppa Joe.

Each and every main character in this book was abusive towards MFC. Even the butler & bodyguard!

This is the best book I have read in about two years.

Seems like every page is full of love for each other and plenty of sex. I wish every book I read could be as fulfilling as this one. I can't say enough good things about it. It certainly hit all of my buttons.. This is one I will definitely read again.

I'm conflicted about this book. It took me a long time to get into the story, it felt very bratty and YA despite the dark theme. I much preferred the last 20% and epilogue to the first 80%. I like dark books but at many points I thought this went past punishment and into cruelty.

I didn't know what to expect but oh boy I'm glad I read this it sucked me in and I couldn't stop. It was dark, steamy and great characters that you can connect with. Lots of serious moments with all the feels. I can't wait to read more from this Author.

For the first time ever, I didn’t finish a book. This book was awful. This isn’t BDSM, this is abuse. Oh and the grammar issues/typos, I couldn’t look past them anymore. Save yourself, you’ve been warned.

I had this book on my TBR list for a long time but I kept putting it off due to the mixed reviews. I should have just jumped into it because it was actually pretty good. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️

This book started very DIFFERENT from what I was expecting, in fact I literally went back to reread the author synopsis since I felt I was reading a totally different book. This wasn’t a bad thing- early in the book there is a good bit of the heroines’ story and plot-setting. Heroine is one of the most notorious computer hackers in the world. She is “owned” by a wealthy bad guy/ mobster. She is fighting for some personal freedoms while being surrounded by constant threats, violence and fear. Instead of being trapped inside a small room on a secure compound, she was able to convince her ‘slaver’ to allow her to live in a small apartment and goto work at a giant computer company, where she spends her days as a coder, while secretly hacking and robbing. There’s a good bit of ‘coder’ talk throughout the book, which can get a bit boring (if it’s not your thing) but it stays pretty light, despite it being the main plot line.

Heroine is eventually is ‘loaned’ to the 2 owners of the giant computer company for $1M a month. While taking advantage of her coding skills, the 2 billionaires basically plan to use her as their personal sex slave. She agrees because she feels it is a better deal than living amongst the violence at the mob compound.

I didn’t see a TW list but there definitely should be a long one for this book, including MM, CSA, dubious consent, pet play, murder, kidnapping, drugging/ drug use, and more.
I have a few thoughts on this book so let’s get started…

First, this book was insanely long. There was so much that could have been cut out, even though I loved the story and couldn’t put this book down once I started it. The heroine really drags her feet about accepting help and for, well, literally everything. I have never met such a whiny FMC. As one of the MMC says, “puppies don’t whine as much as you”, and I agree, she was absolutely the worst most whiny FMC ever. If you cut out every time she whined, complained or mouthed off, the book would literally be cut in half. She was exhausting IMO, and that NEVER changes. I think the point was that she could not be broken despite her situation but she nearly broke me instead🤣.

Secondly, one of the guys is in love with her from the start, and forms a ddlg relationship with her including LOTS of spankings. The other billionaire despises her for most of the book, calls her Pet, walks her on a leash, makes her sit on the floor and eat out of a dog bowl. The blatant disregard for her feelings feel like dubious consent at best. Even though she has agreed to the ‘relationship’ since it was the lesser of 2 evils, she is still clearly an owned slave. This never really changes and she is ‘Pet’ forever, through the last page of the book. While not my thing, I was okay with this, but can see why there are mixed reviews (I don’t think it’s clear to expect this harsh treatment by the book description alone).

The long length of the book makes me want to give it 2⭐️, but as I mentioned, I could not put this book down. There is definitely something compelling about the characters (including a cast of side characters), and I was fascinated by the unbreakable (albeit whiny) spirit of the FMC. I’d go with 3.5⭐️ and a level 5/5 on the spicy scale, even though her constant crying and complaining every time they had sex did sort of ruin the mood for me. And don’t even get me started on how much she screamed bloody murder while having anal. Ugh. This girl, SMH, was exhausting.

This book had everything I wanted and more. It was so refreshing to see billionaires who weren't the ones part of the mafia. While they weren't "regular" guys, they weren't the criminals or violent type.

The steam was incredible, but it also had a storyline. And something I didn't see coming.

Overall, it is a fantastic book for anyone who enjoys hearing Baby Girl or Pet as terms of endearment.

Nothing puts me off a book more than unrealistic characters with unrealistic dialogue. This book had neither. Even if events are extreme (which makes stories interesting - unless they’re not well written, then it's just ridiculous), the characters' reactions were completely understandable.
I applaud Korey Mae Johnson for including more than just european/'western' (UK, US, or Canadian) heterosexual characters in her book. Adding characters whose ethnicity isn't white would make it even more inclusive.
Love that female MC is in a geek crew/group of friends & co-workers. I love Rabbit, Retro & Glasses, distinct individual personalities & their friendship with each other & especially with female MC.
I also loved the male MC's Wilhelm & Braum. But my absolute favourites were Viktor & Daniel, particularly Viktor.
One thing that I noticed was how author kept writing that a person flicked the finger, when I’m more familiar with the expression being flipped the finger - didn't bother me, just not used to it described that way, so was slightly jarring.
Female MC did get a bit annoyingly whiny in the middle, which was surprising considering her upbringing, i.e. a child born to an underaged illegal emigrant & struggling single parent, then becoming a criminals' prisoner - twice. But she's also one of the funniest & most endearing characters I've ever read.

Tiny Spoiler:
I was extremely disappointed that female MC said she didn't like polarbears or pandas - I thought she was smarter than that. It's hypocritical to blame the polarbears for just trying to survive. They would obviously want to find an easier meal - one that won't quite possibly kill them instead - but they’re starving.
There’s a fragile balance in nature, so nothing gets too overpopulated, throwing off this balance & causing starvation & or extinction of a necessary species i.e., disrupting the natural food chain. Look at the negative effects & extinction an abundance of humans has caused to the world's ecosystems.
Humans don't just kill for survival. We have become a scurge to all life on earth. Humans have made everywhere, but particularly the polarbears incredibly difficult habitat even more treacherous for every species who manages to survive there (mostly thru polluting & global warming effects), thus starving the carnivores, as food sources diminish or disappear along with the ice.
From lowest species going up, the food chain, as their numbers diminish, creatures at top of chain, like polarbears (& eventually European humans) are increasingly affected.
Lastly, yes pandas are able to eat meat, and in the wild they will opportunistically eat small animals they come across (frogs, eggs, rats) but they do not have an instinct to hunt for prey - like a toddler who'll put any & everything in their mouth. Giant pandas don't eat meat. They're extremely specialised herbivores that feed almost exclusively on highly fibrous bamboo. They evolved due to what was once a plentiful supply of bamboo.

I picked this book up because I am a sucker for a MFM or MMF romance read but didn't have high expectations going in. I thought it was going to be a steamy read with a subpar plot mixed in between the sheets. Boy was I wrong!

The story sucked me in right away and kept me interested throughout. Jacey was one smart tough cookie but her mouth got her in trouble sometimes.

Braum knew he loved Jacey from when he first saw her but he has to convince Wilhelm. Unfortunately he hates her when he finds out who she really is. He was really tough on Jacey but it was a great ride to see how their relationship ends up by the end of the book. Braum and Wilhelm are best friends and also lovers though they do prefer women in the bedroom. They have a deep connection and are fiercely loyal to each other. There is only a tiny bit of MM and when it happens it's with Jacey to give a heads up for anyone wanting lots of that content.

Not only was there a great plot but the spice is on point. Only go into this if you are ok with Hs being rough and the h being humiliated sometimes. Even though there were a few times they didn't mind their babygirl/pet was on display, no way would they even think allowing another man to lay a finger on her. She was all theirs.

The side characters were fun too. Daniel and Viktor were great friends to Jacey. She also had a quirky crew of friends she worked with. It's only January but this will probably stay as one of my favorite reads of 2023.

★”They actually did share everything. A house, servants, a business, and now a slave.”★

—>>> Jacey Templeton was a 19-year-old genius hacker, with a posse of nerds, bottomless energy and appetites for food and her newly discovered sexuality, and a price on her head. She was definitely running out of time to save herself from the man who is increasingly raising the stakes to get her back, so she went from a deal with the Devil forged by her father to a deal with two new Devils, her current bosses, for protection. But while Braum had instantly known in it in his bones that she was exactly what they needed, Willhelm was the one whose heart had needed a bit of thawing first, before he could open himself to the possibilities. “Stubborn creature that you are.” Their clashes made for some spicy, heated moments. I absolutely loved Daniel and Viktor’s characters as well. This review simply cannot cover everything I want to say, because it will give too much away, but Jacey simply fit them perfectly both at work and at home and was their dream girl personified. Loved this story!

Babygirl is an extremely well written, very dark and twisted mafia romance about a young hacker in the claws of the mafia who’s forced to make a deal and sign the power over her body away to two less than sympathetic billionaires.
Highly captivating and deeply engaging, with dry, cynical humor, a healthy amount of wit, and a solid plot with an exceedingly satisfying ending this book was extremely hard to put down. Its exceptionally thorough built characters - one of which you’ll truly love to love, one you’ll for the most part deeply and dearly love to hate and yet another who’ll have you bouncing between the two - along with an uncomfortable amount of humiliation and a bunch load of rough, kinky and at times extremely reluctantly consensual sex, made this book one hell of an emotional roller coaster ride that pushed my boundaries more than once.
You really need to take the warnings on this book seriously and mind your triggers.
But if you’re into dark, twisted, intense and extremely kinky, Korey Mae Johnson has done an outstanding job of this one.

Overall a great read

I’ll admit that there were a few times that I didn’t like the MMC’s, Wilhelm in particular was a complete alphahole for most of the book.

That said the elements of these three characters just fitted together so well. The two MMC’s are comfortably symbiotic to the extent that slipping a woman into the mix sounds difficult. Frankly it’s enough to make anyone wax philosophical about falling in love. It’s hard to explain how the characters gelled together without creating spoilers so I’ll just leave it unsaid. The “dark” in this romance definitely comes from their treatment of her but only as a side effect of her circumstances. The kink in and of itself isn’t an issue, I’ll stick with the mantra of not yucking someone else’s yum. Instead it only becomes questionable because of her pre-existing circumstances. I know I already mentioned that but felt I just needed to be clear.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book and I’ll definitely be checking out the author’s other work.

I enjoyed this book. It was a long one but it kept my interest throughout and I’ve always enjoyed Kori’s writing and storytelling talent. Intriguing as well to read about a heroine in my own field of work and while I’m not a hacker at Jacey’s skill-level I do code and I was pleased to not see any cringeworthy plot points in that area.

Jacey - something of a brat yet endearing. I found myself frustrated several times at how mean Wilhelm could be with her, it was good when he came around eventually but man I wanted to yell at him a few times while reading. And Brummer was just funny, many times I burst out laughing at the way he phrased his words and scolded Jacey.

This book is plenty steamy, very spicy. Do note that they get off on humiliating Jacey - a lot - so if that’s your thing you are in luck.

I would have liked to explore more about Jacey’s past trauma but overall a great read.

Smart & Spicy..need more

Who knew you could make a deliciously Wicked story incredibly smart. And by smart I mean these characters are not just intellectually smart but they're witty banter from start to finish is engaging and sometimes downright hysterical.

There is so much depth of character from this author. The story is unique and the spice is written in a manner that is Pearl clutch worthy.

I am a devoted reader of LGBT+ spice with a little mix of BDSM but they're too often written poorly and without any knowledge or Research into what those kinds of relationships entail. Not so with this author. It's written in a believable enough manner that while fiction you with it was reality.

This book is just fantastic. And it's not just cause 2 hot brainiacks get thoroughly bamboozled by a smarter, younger girl...there is a real story of intrigue and loss. Of learning to overcome past trauma and accepting fate.

And OMG fast paced. Your never board.

I have read other books by this author, but this one just blows me away! I started reading in the evening and kept reading until 4:30 am. I had to know how it ended! Please read the warnings and take them seriously. This is a very dark mafia 'romance'.

Jacey is one of my favorite main female characters. She is a bold, smart-mouthed, and sassy hacker. When she gets in deeper trouble with the mafia that she can not get herself out of, she finally goes to Wilhelm and Braum for help. They are billionaires that own a security software company that are uber alpha. Braum wants Jacey, but not without Wilhelm. Jacey agrees to be their babygirl/pet in exchange for protection. The story is rife with humiliation and rough, kinky consensual sex. There is a satisfying ending, but you need to get through some tough scenes before you get there.

OMG! Wow, this book was definitely fantastic, I could not put the book down definitely worth reading, the storyline was exhilarating, the book was so hot and the characters were really hot, sensual, body friction. The main characters were Wilhelm, Braum and Josephine known as Jacey, they have such a love hate relationship Braum is Daddy and Wilhelm is Master, they both bought her for twelve months from a horrible man. Jacey is a computer hacker she was trained by her father most of her life, her father never let her go to school he just trained her to be the best. She had lots of energy so when she got bored she would be naughty and get spanked and when she was really naughty she was plugged. I loved this story.

A hacker for two

Wow what an amazing story this was to read. Its one of those books (well for me anyway) that as soon as you start reading it, it gets you in its grip and you really dont want to put it down.
Jacey, only 19 but in reality she is older than she seems. She has a brilliant brain even though she home schooled herself. Owed by Mafia but she is desperately trying to get herself out from under him. She is a brilliant hacker and employed by one of the men she has a series crush on since she was young. She tries to not get noticed by the two men who own the business, unfortuately for her she is spotted by Braum Vetter who takes more than an interest in her. However his better half she dosnt like so much. She calles him master and he calles her Pet. She is their baby girl

They will have to be smart to protect her from the Mafia, but will she comply because if she dosnt she will get punished like the naughty girl she can be.

If you love a book with a bit of sass and spanking, then this is a book for you. I absolutely recommend it.

I just finished one of the best books I have ever read! I got so involved in the story that before I realized it I had read the day away blissfully! This is the first book I have read by this author and it will not be my last. It’s a roller coaster ride from start to finish with a sassy heroine to two ultra alpha males. My favorite character was Jacey…when she decides to send a virus to her pain in the rear end boss pictures of elephant vaginas I spit out my coffee laughing so hard…laughing, biting your nails at the suspense and of course sighing during the romance scenes. Hard core? Perhaps but in a delicious way. Download and enjoy ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😁.

This is a new author for me, I love the bratiness of the Jacey Templeton aka (Josephine Carrow) I loved her witty banter with Braum and Wilhelm. These men aren’t just billionaires who own a security firm, they’re both dominates and the only men willing to give Jacey a new life. I love to have dark, brooding sexy men who have wounded souls and a young woman who becomes involved in a dark and twisted romance. You’ll love the humor in this story and the smart sassy heroine. This story consists of Daddy Dom/Little Girl and Master/Pet dynamics and beware they are a few triggers. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A great read.

I decided to give this book a read after being on the fence about another of the authors books and unsure if I liked it or not. This book didn’t leave me questioning, there was no doubt I enjoyed this one and I would read it again.

There was a great story in this book building up the characters and their lives, whilst some characters were instantly likeable others had to redeem themselves and the author did a great job of portraying that. Although there were plenty of spicy scenes in the book there was a lot of tenderness and sweet moments too but that’s not to say it’s all soppy there was danger and drama too with some great curve balls too.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. I was not expecting all this book gave. Jacey Templeton is a black-hat hacker she’s working at B&V, a security technology firm, that is at the top of their game except for one annoying hacker that seems to best them daily, ThePrinc3ss. Wilhelm Brunner and Bruam Vetter own the company together. These guys are the best of friends and share everything. How does Jacey fit into a life that seems perfect?

Getting to know these characters will make readers appreciate friendship. Friendships that include Jacey’s nerd work friends. I really enjoyed this book and was pleasantly surprised how the story unfolded.

I really enjoyed this book. It started off a bit strange for me and I was confused with the time..months would go by, then you would have chapter after chapter of the same day. It wasn’t a page turner until about 30% through. It was really long but not super repetitive (which I appreciated; repetition in a novel is my biggest pet peeve). I originally thought it could be a little shorter but then what would have been cut I changed my mind. The training details were just too good to go. I enjoyed reading about their lifestyle and the trials they went through. Anyways, good book.

The FMC is such an imperfect character. She’s impulsive, irrational, often selfish and stubborn af. But I loved her, despite it all. Or maybe BECAUSE of it all. It gives her more of a sense of realness.

There were so many parts where I actually burst out laughing and I’m still not even sure if it was intentionally or unintentionally hilarious. But i died laughing either way.

There were also times where I felt so bad for Jacey probably because I’m just a big baby and I felt the MMCs were too hard on her. My main problem was the lack of aftercare. Like, sheesh give the poor girl some arnica.

Loved the ending and the audio had a bonus scene at the end that I loved too.

This is a dark romance. Please mind your triggers.

I enjoyed this book. It has Daddy Dom/Little Girl and Master/Pet dynamics in it, along with the characters being in a throuple.

I liked Jacey as a character. I loved learning about her hacking. She sounds like someone who would be a great friend. I loved the nicknames she gave to her coworkers.

Braum and Wilhelm are your stereotypical billionaire romance heros, but we learn that Jacey changes them for the better.

I'm a little on the fence of this one. Jacey gets caught trying infiltrate Braum and Wilhelm's company. It's safe to say the Braum instantly knew that Jacey was for him, whilst Wilhelm wasn't to sure and took a bit longer.

Jacey finds herself in an MMF relationship, spanked for even slightest hint of defiance and used however her Daddy and Master please. Some of the scenes between the trio really are super hot, however I was a bit, no this isn't right with the MMF setup, and that at times Jacey was subjected to what amounted to cruelity
