I'm a cat-mom of two, wife and spicy romance enthusiast living in Edmonton, AB. You can usually find me curled up on the sofa surrounded by a hundred pillows and reading on my kindle (or, y'know, writing.) Becoming my bestie is easy! You just need an undying love of all things sweet and be cool with watching the same five movies on repeat.
Honestly? Delightful and creative holiday smut. I got this for two stories in particular by a couple of my favorite authors but ended up enjoying most of the others. Some of them did not have great editing and a few big typos or sentences that didn’t really make sense which was a bummer. Great tags and content warnings before each story so you can decide if it's one you want to get into. Absolutely was attracted to a Christmas tree for a few pages so I think that's good writing? Anyway if you're in the mood for festive and weird erotica, you'll enjoy this. Sorry if you know me in real life and this is weird for you.
Festive, spicy and fun, short stories. I really enjoyed a few of the stories but some of them I was trying to skim through to get to the next. All in all worth the read.
Also the Christmas tree one 🤣, brings a whole new meaning to “Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree”
I am blown away by these authors’ creativity. Not all of the stories were for me, but I tried to give feedback and reactions for each.
🌊 A Chance Encounter - F/F - I would read a full length novel about them. Would love to know more about Kraken-esque species and see the world fleshed out more.
🧊The Nykurs’ Captive - F/M/M/M - So so so good. So hot. Would love to know more about their mythology too.
🎁Skipped The Taste of Sweetness - I’m so sorry but no. I’m not having an Elf on the Shelf come to life. Nope. I cannot. Those things are terrifying as is. This could be for you though!
❄️Naughty and Ice - F/M - Jack Frost is hot. Lilah is hot. Thank you. I want more. One of my faves of the whole anthology.
🧁The Sugar Plum Faeries’ Feast - F/F/M - Oh my gosh I thought it was going to be a Nutcracker type imagining. No. No we get a gloriously horny elf who lives in Santa’s Village who visits the equally horny Sugar Plum forest for an orgy.
🎄Skimmed Oh Christmas Tree - Sentient trees are not my thing. But I can see how it could be someone else’s!
🥜The Nutcracker and His King - M/M - Yes!!!! Here is my Nutcracker imagining and had no idea I needed this pairing in my life. Dark and twisty. Loved this one.
🍪Skimmed Oops All Spice - Person sized gingerbread man brought to life. Also not for me. But it could be for you!
👻All Three - F/M, F/F, F/F/M/M - So emotional and sweet and sexy as fuck. A take on the ghosts of Christmas helping you move on from the death of a loved one.
For a bizarre, yet creative, Christmas monster romance anthology, I’m very disappointed to see the opening story have literally nothing to do with Christmas. Why even bother putting it there? I’m not saying the first story is a bad one either (because in spite a few notable grammatical errors, I thought the relationship between the two women was very well developed and the writing was pretty good) I’m just confused on why it’s in the Christmas collection.
Story 1 - CW: explicit sexual content (including monster appendages), vague references to sexual violence, death
The next story had the content description of “feminism” in its lineup.
?
I don’t really have the energy in me to argue against that or how off-putting this interpretation of feminism felt. So I’m moving on.
The story, overall, is fine in spite of how overly repetitive the horse-men’s dialogue got. We get it. Human men are small and weak and you are not. Once was enough, bud.
Story 2 - CW: explicit sexual content, fatphobia, murder, attempted human trafficking, brief sexual assault, dubious consent, violence
The third story was just fucking scary. AND INVOLVING THE ELF ON THE SHELF ???? IN SUCH A DARK MANNER ?? H E L L O ?
Story 3 - CW: toxic family dynamics, infidelity, dubious consent
Fourth story was cute.
Story 4 - CW: explicit sexual content (including BDSM)
I had to google what dollification was before jumping into the fifth story.
Story 5 - CW: explicit sexual content, dollification
The sixth story is about a Christmas tree.
A literal.
t r e e
Story 6 - CW: explicit sexual content (with a tree)
Seventh story. Nutcracker and the rat king.
It’s a surprisingly compelling story tbh.
Story 7 - CW: explicit sexual content (heavily including BDSM)
Eighth story. I hate vore.
And all I could picture while reading this was Gingy from Shrek screaming, “not my gumdrop buttons!”
Story 8 - CW: explicit sexual content (including vore)
Ninth story. I’m surprised I haven’t heard of more Christmas Carol-esque romances.
Also this story was genuinely very emotional and bittersweet. I’m legitimately devastated over it.
Story 9 - CW: mentions of terminally ill + dead loved ones, grief, explicit sexual content
If you are in the mood for something with Christmas vibes and a lot of spice, this is your anthology.

The stories that I have not read, it has been because of the TW‼️, which I am grateful for, by this I mean that these stories are not for me but surely someone enjoys them a lot🤗
I think out of all the stories I did have two favorites, with that being said they were all amazing!!!! These were nice and short, some were sweet while others were most definitely naughty. Hint, hint... Wink... Wink. Totally pulled me out of my holiday funk & gave me just what I needed this christmas. Smut!
I'm biased because I wrote one of these under my other pen name, Sol de León, but these stories are fun and sexy and everything you need this holiday season.
I had a great time reading this anthology. Some stories were stellar out of this world and some were pretty good. The sugar plum story is worth it alone. I could read like 1000 pages of that story!!
You cannot prepare, you will enjoy every second, except for the seconds you stop reading to think too hard about what you are reading. Don't think, just vibe and you will have a great time.
I only liked two stories from the whole book . And I feel felt like something was missing in some of them . Over all it was not the best but not the worse in my opinion
