"No force can deny the reward that true effort brings about"_ (𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭)
★ Practise makes us what we shall be.
★ Unfortunately, most humans function purely on the basis of instinct and make little or no use of their intellect.
★ If you want peace of mind, don't find fault with others, but find fault rather with yourself. Learn to make the whole world your own. No one is a stranger, my dear; the whole world is your own.
★ Love allows growth and does not judge the individual based on one stray incident. ★ Introspection makes us realize that the world has no power to influence us unless we allow ourselves to be influenced. ★ Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached.
★ We are what our thoughts have made us; so take care of what you think. Our thoughts make things beautiful, our thoughts make things ugly.
★ You are the creator of your own destiny. All the strength and succour you want is within yourself.
★ One suffers as a result of one's own action. So, instead of blaming others for such suffering, one should pray to the Lord and depending entirely on His grace, try to bear them patiently with forbearance under all circumstances. ★ He who has a pure mind sees everything pure.
Long time no see! January was not a good reading month for me. I have lost one of my childhood friends. She was fighting a rare disease. Facing death is always a horrible experience for me. It's hard to find words to express myself. My academic life was so hectic. It still is now. But February brought happiness into my life. One of my close friends got married. We enjoyed ourselves so much at the wedding. We haven’t gotten over all the jokes, laughter, and roasted moments. Life is surprising and magical at the same time. Anyway, stay safe and healthy, everyone 😁😁
A short guide that provides guidance on how to manage life effectively. I found the chapter that asks one to treat life in the spirit of a game very inspiring
Very relevant to today's world around us, one of the best books to alter your life as we want in very simple language. I wish and request at least all Indians specially youth must read this book.
This Book is very practical help for those seeking Self Development. Teachings of the Book are foundation for Self Improvement/Development. Much Litrerature is available on the topic but this book is like its Title, very Effective and very Basic. SDM is very Effective tool for improving Inner Strength, specially Watching Thought Flow Process. Very Simple and Clear Concepts. A Must Read and Follow.
“I liked this book for its simplicity and easy to understand guidance. The main focus of the book is that happiness is something which is elusive and steps have to be taken to live a contented life. In our day to day life we keep on hankering for more and more but feel dissatisfied even if we achieve our goals . This book encourages readers to be confidant and to look within themselves to achieve peace of mind and happiness
The book is an excellent concept which could do with better execution.
Is too much like a copy-paste from other similar books. Needs more depth and perhaps fewer topics should be crammed into a book of this size to allow for a more detailed exposition.
Chapters on anger and jealousy are too much like some self help article from a newspaper.
