The Jailor #1

Dante's End: The Jailor

Rate this book
Monsters are made, not born...

Most called him the Jailor. Some called him a monster. If he had a name, nobody had survived meeting him long enough to tell it. They said he sat atop a mound of skulls and marked each death on his throne, like notches on a bedpost. Some tales told of how he had wings as dark as night, and of how he wore a crown of razor wire woven around four horns.

Dante had heard all the stories before.

The only tale he cared for was the one that said the jailor could bleed. If the jailor could bleed, then he could die, and Dante was going to be the one to finally kill him.

This is the story of how all those tales were wrong. And so was Dante.

Meet the Jailor in 2022. (Estimated release date end October).
Triggers: Yes. Lots. This is a DARK fantasy. I'll add more once I've finished edits, but the big triggers are: self mutilation, sexual threat, violence and gore. But no animals are harmed. Just people. And monsters.

Sometimes friends did become enemies, and they were the most dangerous enemies of all.

Dante’s village, Lenola, has been under the rule of the Jailor for decades now. Each cycle, the Jailor comes down his tower and takes one villager with him, and nobody knows what happens to those villagers, only that they are never to be seen again. Dante has had enough, and he also has a personal vendetta against the Jailor, so he decides to organize an attack the next time the Jailor comes to the village, only to end up being taken by the Jailor instead. The real shock comes when he realizes that he knows the Jailor because he is no other than Havok, Dante’s childhood friend. That should not change anything to Dante’s plan to kill the Jailor, but the more time he spends with Havok, the more he realizes that there is more to it than a bloodthirsty monster killing villagers, and even Havok does not know all the facts. This is much bigger than the two of them, but they will have no choice but to trust each other and work together if they want to survive and try to mend things between the two of them.

The world Ariana Nash built here is dark and twisted but intriguing and engaging. The sachas (monsters) are made by their ruler, and the way they are made is just gruesome. As the story moved forward, we could see how Dante’s world and what he knew of it were just in fact a teeny tiny fraction of what was happening. With the way this book ends, it promises some extension of the world-building in the next book, and I am very curious to discover more of this world where monsters rule and humans are just oblivious to it.

The second half of the book had a lot of internal debate, thoughts, and changing opinions, and while it was pertinent to the character’s journey, it was a little less addictive than the dark tension we could feel in the first half of the book. The whole revelation about Havok’s identity was also there twice in the span of a few chapters, which was a little weird. Dante realized it first, and then Havok realized it later, but for us readers, it was just the same revelation all over again. Besides that though I have nothing to say about the writing of the story. Ariana Nash always delivers.

“You’re a monster.”
“I am perceived to be many things. I admit to only being myself. I cannot control how others, like you, see me.”
“You kidnap and murder my people. That clearly makes you a monster. That and your appearance.”
“My appearance?” He gave a snort. “Well then, you have me all figured out.”

Havok is a misunderstood monster. He’s not bad, and is trying his best to help the humans he’s looking after, but for the humans, he is the Jailor. The monster that comes to take one of them every cycle. My heart broke for Havok after reading the sweet beginning of the story and then jumping to chapter 2 and realizing how much Havok suffered, while everyone hates him. Havok is impulsive and brimming with resentment and anger. He acts out and is impetuous at times, but he also has a nicer side to him, and we can see that deep down he just wants to feel love and that he belongs somewhere. I really love that prickly monster.

Dante is feisty, fiery (with the hair that goes with it), driven, and very obstinate. He has a passion to him that draws others, humans, and monsters, and it will either be his salvation or his ruin. He is so intense in his feelings, and sometimes too stubborn because of it too, but it’s also because of that fire that I believe he will not let Havok down in the end, even though he thought about it a lot during this book. Honestly, there were a few times when I wanted to slap him in the face, but I understand why he felt or acted the way he did, and while he hid it better than Havok in a sense, we could see that he was hurting too because of the loss of the sweet and kind Havok he knew as a child.

Havok stayed a while, heart racing, head full of new and wonderful memories. He had a name now. Havok. What a gift it was, to have a name. He would cherish it like he hoped his butterfly boy would cherish the gifted wooden butterfly.

Havok and Dante share a past. They first met as little boys, and became friends, with all the joy and innocence of young kids, until something terrible happened and tore them apart. The fact that they shared these joyful moments only created even more hatred between the two as adults. They are both bitter about how things ended between them, and are both resentful of what the other became, which added so much tension between them! This isn’t just about two men being enemies and hating each other, this is about two best friends who are still mourning the loss of the other, but buried deep down under layers and layers of anger and hate.

“I despise you.”
“Hm,” Havok purred. He closed his fingers around the bars again. “I’ll take your hate, if that’s all you’re willing to give.” Havok studied him, raking his intense gaze from head to toe.

Sometimes, their interactions reminded me a little bit of Vasili and Niko in the first book of the Prince’s Assassin series. There is obvious sexual tension between Havok and Dante, but it’s buried under too much hate for now. The few times they clashed and “something” happen, it was full of anger and despair, and also lust sure, but it was also done to hurt or distract the other, or to prove a point, not because they wanted to give in and kiss each other. This is definitely a slow burn, and they seriously have a lot of work to do for this to become a kind of semi-healthy relationship, but there is potential, and once they finally get there, it will be epic and SO INTENSE AND HOT! Also, I need to mention Havok’s tail that has a mind of his own and keeps creeping toward Dante… Especially when they are sleeping near each other, it was just adorable and kind of sexy too.

If you enjoyed Ariana Nash’s previous works, you will fall in love with Dante’s End. It’s dark, twisted, and gruesome at times, but also full of action, heavy sexual tension, angst, hurt, and awesome characters. It has great world-building, an addictive pace, a good plot with some twists, and an ending that makes us wish we were in 2023 already.

I am a little conflicted about what to think.. I can't decide between 3 stars or 4 stars so I might adjust the rating at another time.

The first 40% of the book were my favourite, I liked the banter, the power-play, the little tricks, betrayal and push/pull. I loved the scenes in the spire the most and would have loved that chunk of the book to be a lot longer. The first chapter about their history is absolutely adorable too.

But then at some point, it becomes too much betrayal. This is for sure an enemies to lovers slow burn, which is typically my favourite trope. But with every little sliver of understanding and forgiveness, we are only given even worse betrayal and hurt in return. Sometimes I struggled to keep track of what we were upset about this time, because it just kept piling on higher and higher, and their possible relationship seemed more and more unlikely. I don't even think we really reached the moment of 'lovers'

because....

.... neither of them could make up their minds about each other! So much so that the true 'decision' at the end felt unsteady and uncertain. Was Havok a ruthless monster? Or was he a creature formed by torture and lies and innocent at heart? Was Dante his empathic kind butterfly boy? Or was he a devious liar who only used Havok for his own gains? It kept going back and forth so much, that I am suffering a whiplash as we speak. It would have been more believable if the changes had gone slower and didn't switch so frequently, so that by the end of the book we are all on the same page and ready to fight and cheer for them.

Then there was the problem where every time the characters warmed up (the nether regions) and became interested in one another, it took place during the weirdest and most unnatural of moments. Just a few examples in complete random order:

I had questions that went completely ignored (e.g what are all the bones and skulls doing in the spire's masssssssive basement, when all the annual offerings are taken to Reina's castle to be used there?).

I liked that both characters were unredeemable (even if the amount of caused hurt and betrayal became a little too much for my patience) but I wish they were self aware enough to understand that and thus have more patience with the other.

Don't get me wrong, despite my critical review it was a very addictive read. I could not put the book down and during the first 40% I was constantly giggling and having the best time of my life with it. The book is well written, original and brutal(ly gory). If you like enemies to slightly lesser enemies and a lot of twists and stabs, this is definitely for you but don't go into it thinking there are no issues ;)

"Havok's beauty was a savage song of masculinity and monster. The first time Dante had laid eyes on him, at this pool, he'd thought Havok beautiful, and that hadn't changed."

She's done it again. Ariana Nash is the mistress of MM fantasy, friends to enemies to lovers, slow burn romance and Dante's End brings all of that to the party and then some.

Be warned, this is the first of an Ariana Nash trilogy, so you just know going in that you're in for a roller coaster ride, ending in a cliff hanger and that these characters are going to be torn apart in all the worst possible ways, before they (hopefully!) get their HEA.

This is a story about two little boys who fall in love, before they even know what love is, and before they realise that in the real world, monsters and humans don't work in that way. Ariana Nash creates an amazingly layered world of monsters, demons, humans, kings, magic, fire and ice, and as always her characters are flawed, toxic, hard to love and yet so desperate to be loved. Just divine.

Our MCs, Dante and Havok, are far from perfect. They both make so many mistakes, hurt each other (and others) and just behave so terribly, that you wonder whether/how/if they can ever redeem themselves. I adored them both.

Such a fantastic read and I literally can't wait for the next installment, Dante's Outcast, coming soon.

Highly recommended.

No sex at all. Pretty nice descriptions in the beginning, like the telling of a fairy tale, which is Nash’s forte. I like her more “modern” books a whole lot less.

But no where near her earlier dragon masterpiece. I’ll keep reading tho and see where this goes.

This story is dark, twisted, and perilous, featuring a misunderstood monster and his butterfly boy. Ariana Nash's beautifully lyrical prose ensnares the heart whilst transporting you into the mysterious and dangerous world she has created. A world where nothing is as it seems and the truth is harder to find than a needle in a haystack.

“Havok was jealous. Dante had said he’d come back, he’d promised. Havok had waited by that pond for so long. And when he had returned, he’d brought another, brought a replacement, a Lenolian like him. Someone not Havok. The betrayal stung to this day.”

This may be Dante's End but Havok totally stole the show. He's like an impulsive toddler, pulling the wings off an insect because he wants to see how they work. Full of ire, passion, envy and with a strong urge to protect the humans under his care. What isn't to love about this horned, winged, sexy monster? Dante is just as impetuous, quick to judge and flying off the handle as only a true redhead can. He both loves and hates his Jailor, remembering the young boy he once knew and sparring with the cold-hearted terror he now faces.

In a world where nothing is as it seems, where only the strongest, most determined and most ruthless survive, separating fact from fiction can seem an almost impossible task. Whom to trust, who to care for, whether indeed to care, these are the puzzles that can drive even the most balanced of men crazy.

Only Ariana Nash can make a dreadful monster loveable, and an affable hero into someone you want to punch. And make it imperative for this star-crossed pair to find the happily ever after in one another's arms. She also, cruel mistress that she is, likes to leave us on a soul-crushing cliffhanger too. I am absolutely besotted with Dante and Havok and will be counting the months, weeks, days and hours until book #2 is released. It can't come soon enough.

“Dante glanced up and caught a moonlit glimpse of Havok’s ass he was sure poets would be able to describe in lavish detail.”

i’m surprised by how little i enjoyed this book. ive read many of the author’s other books and enjoyed them a lot but this one just fell flat for me. i couldnt get a good grasp of the main characters, they kept changing their opinions about each other all the time and the pacing was a bit weird, especially in the second half. i wish the story committed itself to a few of the betrayals (so many!) instead of flip-flopping all over the place. it became a bit tiring.

the writing also wasn’t that good. it felt very amateurish which is weird. idk. i dont know what happened here

"He could never have Havok, not least because he had to kill him."

I'm having a hard time finding words for this review. Dante's end was unlike anything I have ever read. The worldbuilding is rich and twisted. Just as you think you have a hold on what is happening, something happens to prove you wrong. Who is bad and who is good? My thoughts volley back and forth on that throughout the entire book. Even at the end I am still unsure.

As this is a trilogy I am at least sure that the suffering of these characters is far from over. As one enemy falls, another who is worse takes their place. As a reader we only have a small part of the riddle of who is Havok and where he comes from. How does Dante fit into it all? And the butterflies 🦋. They seem important, but I don't know why. I guess I'll have to wait for the next one and cross my fingers it gives me more answers than questions once I read it.

Don’t be fooled by the beginning; this is a very dark tale. It feels oppressive at times and wasn’t always enjoyable to read. I was fascinated the entire time though. It wasn’t what I expected at all.

You got me at that cover reaveal :) 🫠🖤

Monsters are made, not born... You should definitely check this out because:

1º It is written by Ariana Nash, so expect dark and sexy, but with suffering 🤌
2º This cover is BEAUTIFUL🤤
3º The owner of that cheeky smile has a curious tail 😉
4º Adorable character morally gray🖤
5º Cinnamon Roll baby with kink for leather pants and stitching🪡
6º World Incredibly Well Created (as usual)🙏
7º Slow Burn done right⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
8º Some sexy shenanigans with that curious tail🥵

If these reasons are not enough here are some more:

The innocence and beauty of the beginning of the story could not last long. Two boys from very different and physically different worlds meet and over the years become friends, but this friendship is something more and that is clear from the beginning.

Dante is fiery, passionate, curious and with a secret. That secret is Havok, a monster with wings, horns and a tail (oh yes... and that tail is curious....)

A few cycles later... Because things can't go smoothly forever... Betrayal and disappointment...

The story progresses from here with so much intrigue, so many things to answer, so much that happens and that's still to come... (if I die of anxiety before book 2, I'll die happy... oh so dramatic i know...)🎭

Not very happy reunions but on the way there... More monsters, violence, sewing, abusive and lying masters... Monsters are not born, they are made, LITERALLY! More betrayal, more disappointment... Tail play, passionate kisses, more betrayal... How can you not love it right?

I received a Arc by Ariana Nash and this is my honest, fangirling opinion!

You should definitly check this out ASAP!

You Nash, youuuuuu brilliant ughbdbd!!!

I loved this shit!!!! I love how this author is not scared to make a character BAD!!! Havok was in a bad situation, so he made a lot of bad decisions and that's real to me, he wasn't really bad in his core, but he didn't choose to make good either.

I love that complexity that Ariana always presents, and I loved it in this story, where the world building was amazing and the tropes.

Loved it!

The love? I don't always read this author for it, but I was pleasantly surprised in this romance, it was, a typical Ariana romance, rocky, full of doubts and a lack of trust, but it grew.

What gives me hope in that department is that even though I don't know if it will be perfect, Dante is willing to go to that place for Havok, and I think it should be epic.

Can't wait. *squeals*

“Because… it doesn’t matter. What we did, back then, I didn’t know what you were, what you’d be. I shouldn’t have…”“
Shouldn’t have what?”
Liked you, kissed you, wanted more… Dante shook his head and rubbed his face.

For a moment I fooled myself into thinking this was going to be a laid back Ariana Nash’s series. It almost got me. But it wasn’t long until all the betrayals and lies started flying left and right. At this point I’m totally biased on Havok no matter what he does. On the other hand, I know Dante will grow on me but for now he’s on my watch list. No need to say that I'm all here for this ‘friends to enemies to whatever they are now to (hopefully) lovers’. Keep in mind that this is an ongoing series and this installment ends with a cliffhanger.

description

With the way things started, and went to throughout the book, we are set for a long journey relationship-wise. They both did things that made me scream “why the hell are you ruining this?”, but that’s where the charm is in Ariana Nash’s stories. This is definitely going in the slow burn path. Dante’s development from his naive self at the beginning to a harsh awakening is going to make this interesting. Especially since Havok is having a sort of reserved journey, realizing he didn’t know half the truth of what is actually going on.

Fantasy Ariana Nash is my favorite by far. This new world started off on the right foot from the beginning. And as usual with this author I can’t wait to find out all the twists in future installments.

Four deserved stars!
First I'm going to rant about what bothered me before I get into what I liked.
Age. When the story really gets started, after their 'boyhood' I thought that Dante was a young man. He donned the archetype of the 'young brazen hero,' so well (often synonymous with 'the fool,' which Dante had in spades) and his thoughts were that youth's as well: his foolishness, his lack of drawing upon life experiences as he questions the world, the sense of invisibility, etc. I was thrown threw quite a loop when I learned he was a much older, silver-haired man. I learned this halfway through the story, and I had to completely shift my understanding of this character. Why would an older man be so naive and act this way? Be able to remember vivid detail from childhood? Unable to draw on his years of experience? Why? Why?
I could't get past that. Ambiguity around Havoc, I understand, but I didn't understand Dante, and I wish some clarification had been added early on so I wasn't left so confused.
I'm still confused. If someone has actual clarification for this, HELP.
Another issue I had was trying to keep up with Havoc's and Dante's random changes of heart.

As for Dante, I'd say he chose some odd times to think about sex. Like, 'You're taking me to a place to be tortured and killed? Let's kiss!'
I know high tension is a nice time to add those moments, but there weren't enough soft moments that had actual meaning, aside from the beginning (which the story leaned on way too much) so I'd say the pattern of wanting sex in those moments happened too much.
For what I loved.
Loved the world building, obviously! Loved the actual concept and the twist on what the jailors are actually doing to the townspeople, while super creepy, makes for an intriguing plot line.
Still deciding how invested I am. I do like the idea of a trilogy, and Nash writes well despite my annoyance at some things, so we'll see!

This is a tale of betrayal & blood, of lies & violence.

This story feels incomplete. As a part of a trilogy, it's very hard to judge this book on its own because it fundamentally lacks completion. It doesn't stand alone at all. Having said that I do realise that this book has thematic closure, the book starts with a betrayal and climaxes with a betrayal. It's basically a testament to the fact that you always believe you would do better if given a second chance only to realise that maybe you wouldn't.

For a very long time, I also found myself very confused as to what was happening in the story and before things fall into place, it's literally the burning hot chemistry between Dante and Havok that salvages this story. I mean these two have an off-the-charts chemistry that leaves you hot and bothered.

Dante and Havok are both very imperfect characters but for some reason, it was easier to give Havok the benefit of the doubt even when objectively he seems to be the worse character. He really isn't. Havok is a darling and I literally feel like crying for the innocence he lost. He is literally a character who is kind and sweet marred by a cruel, cruel world and he has the scars to show for it.

Dante himself is an interesting character though I feel like the idea of him is better than the reality of him. Dante is basically an idea of a character who believes himself to be virtuous and right, who is seen as virtuous and right but actually isn't. He is a complicated character and I feel like he might not have been rendered all that well though I am saving my judgement on him till the next book.

The plot of this story is very confusing for a good part of the beginning of this story. It takes a while before things actually start to make sense. While the plot is a good excuse for putting these characters through hell and teasing out their personalities, I'm not sure it's the greatest of plots. I feel like I might be a bit hasty in my judgement, especially considering this book definitely has that there's more to it feel to most of the elements of the story. That's why I categorically stated this book doesn't stand alone at all. I feel like I will be able to judge this book better once I know where this story is going with all this.

For now, all I can is the characters are intriguing, their chemistry is palpable and the plot leaves me wanting to know more. Also, that cover is brilliant. It's so beautiful. It's a rendering of Havok and except for the absence of his semi-sentient tail, it nailed his looks. That's HAVOK!

Yes, this is a dark and violent fantasy, but I was pleasantly surprised with all the fantastic banter! The First half of the story in addition to building the gruesome and violent scenes also contains an underlying humor with all the push and pull between Dante and Havoc. Havoc is so full of passion that is derived from so much anger, hurt and betrayal. The dance between these two is delicious and complicated. I have to say I am still shipping that these two find actual romance by the end of the series! Cliffhanger, so desperately awaiting the next book!

This is an Ariana Nash book, so expect rich worldbuilding, twists aplenty, and characters who are messy, complicated, and dark. This book leaves on a big cliffhanger, but it'll be worth the wait.

* You're going to want to be prepared for very dark themes and disturbing imagery.

[ARC review. Thank you!]

This was yet another great start to a new story by Ariana Nash. It starts with the innocent meeting of two boys who become childhood friends soon.

But betrayal lurks just around the corner and both Havok and Dante are driven by revenge. Yet, their friendship is still there, fragile and brittle.

Havok is a shady character as was to be expected but his development is exquisit.
Dante is a naive thing at first. He has a mission but it fails at first only to grow into a much greater (and darker) mission. I like them both and with all the betrayal and regret between them it promises to go on just as interesting as this first book.

M/m, fantasy, magic, enemies to friends to enemies to friends to enemies to friends?, Cliffhanger

So this book started out rough. I'm not sure if it was my own preferences or not, but at the beginning the plot seemed weak. By the end of the story however the plot was alive and thriving and dragged my body along for the ride. There was not nearly enough monster love in the story but I suspect there will be. I would wait to fully evaluate this until more was revealed but by the time the next part comes out I'm not sure I will have remembered this properly so I will do it now

A Joyfully Jay review.

4.75 stars

Everything I could possibly say about the storyline or the characters in this book is a spoiler, so I will keep to broad strokes that walk the edge with this review. Dark horror is not the type of book I seek out, but it is when Ariana Nash writes it, and this book does have elements of true horror.

The world that is built here is unlike others. Dante is from a small farming town and his visits to the pond as a child are Havoc’s greatest and only joy. As a child, Dante doesn’t think too much about Havoc’s differences and, as an adult, he wants to think his memory is unreliable. There is friendship and young love and then there is betrayal, the consequences of which changed lives dramatically.

Dante’s End is book one of The Jailor series and it does a tremendous job with the foundations and the many intricate details of the world Dante and Havoc are forced to be in. There is a huge journey they have to take on, both physically and emotionally, and I am all in waiting for it to unfold.

idk idk

Ariana Nash gets a lot of hype, even I've read silk and steel and that dark prince one or whatever it's called

But here's the thing I can't remember anythinf significant from those books, although I think the dark prince one was pretty ok?

Her writing is just so forgettable for me,,

This book tho was just so boring lmfao and the whole stitching people thing just kind of made me laugh it was just weird and felt cartoonish to me. Also her characters don't really have depth and I know people think edgy character being actually nice = character depth but it's not sorry

Like I get the whole captive/captor thing but Nash just ... Can't do it right like CS Pacat can. This book just falls flat.

I think my biggest gripe was just the writing man it was so boring I couldn't finish and I did not give a fuck abt these characters, it really felt like Dante wasn't as desperate to escape as a normal person would be in reality. Also

Havok sewing a coat for Dante and him being upset dante was like ?? wtf was so funny like girl what is going on

So I think this'll be my last Nash story 🫡 I tried

I hope the author will never read this because I don't want to hurt any feelings

But

This might be the dumbest shit I've ever read. And this includes Twilight and peers.

Holy smokes

“You enjoy being wretched.”
Joy sparkled in Havok’s eye. “I enjoy what it does to you.”

Even though these words are spoken between Dante and Havok, I secretly feel that this was a silent conversation between Ariana Nash and me as she was writing this amazing book. Not only does she once again create monsters you love and heroes you want to throttle, you’re brought into this world so completely that reality slips away until all you can do is read. Dante’s End is full of glorious violence, morbid creations, and a desperate, unasked for desire that will not be doused easily.

“What would Havok do if he knew how Dante desired his rage?”

The parallels between Dante’s youthful betrayal and Havok’s are surreal. In Dante’s naivete, bringing Calen to see his secret was his way of giving him a gift, only to end in disaster. In Havok’s own desire to gift Reina with a pet, in his desire for revenge, bringing Dante to the palace triggers events that will forever alter the world as they know it.

Even through the cruelties and torturous scenes throughout the story, I fell more and more in love with Havok. Nash painted such vivid pictures in my mind that I watched him as he unfurled his wings, as his lips tilted up in a smirk, as his tail slid up Dante’s... Umm, yeah. On that note, there are some intense sexy times, but only tantalizing teases. This is definitely a slow burn in that department. But it will be so worth it in the end.

This book is only the beginning of what has started out as a fantastic tale that I cannot wait to learn more about. The plot twists are just really starting, and things are turning a new page. The thing I hate about reading a book when it first comes out? Having to wait for the next one! If you love dark fantasy, do yourself a favor and read this book.

Happy reading!

* I received an ARC of this book and I am leaving my honest opinion. *

I'm not going to lie, I've been desperate for Dante's End since we first started to get snippets in the author's readers' group. Then we were shown the cover, and it was done. I'd fallen in love with a monster.

Havok is a monster, he does despicable things, yet he's a product of how he was made, and Dante is partly to blame for that. I love how Nash makes these complex characters that you love, yet know they are so, so bad. Havok is exactly that. Lies drip from him. It's impossible to know what he will do next, but he isn't all bad. He cares.

Dante, the human of the piece, was actually harder to warm up to for me. He'd made so many mistakes. Eventually, he won me over.

There's a whole lot to unpack from this novel and not a lot of it that I can say without spoilers. Dante's End finishes on a cliffhanger and a glimpse at an even wider world. Honestly, the scope of the plot is impressive.

I've already bought this book in paperback format, but I kinda want the hardback too.

Dante's End is the start of an exciting new series, The Jailor. Dark and twisted! And what a start it was, freakin fantastic, phenomenal! Havok is a creation, made. He can be evil and monstrous. Dante is the human in the story. I struggled to like Dante, but I’m hoping I will. The world building is phenomenal and descriptive. There was sooo much drama and suspense, and angst. It does leave us on a cliffhanger. Overall, a phenomenal read, Well written with addictive pacing that sucked me into the story.
