After losing her parents when she was only ten years old, Ryan Lee Duquesne, also known as Rylee, was orphaned and taken in by the man who took everything from her. Eric Patterson turned her into a child slave thinking that she was just a surviving Omega. For eight years, Rylee worked day in and day out serving The Halfmoon Pack and was treated as scum. Little did The Halfmoon Pack know that Rylee was actually of pure Alpha blood. Rylee successfully hides her identity until the day comes that she must announce her pedigree to the successor of The Halfmoon Pack – Eric’s son, Ashford Patterson when they realize that they are each other’s fated mates. However, Ash, under the impression that Rylee is of Omega status, rejects her as his fated mate, and Rylee accepts with zero hesitation.
When her lineage is revealed, Ash attempts to take back his rejection, only to lose out when Rylee is given a second chance – another Alpha, Wyatt Valencia. As Rylee accepts her new fated mate, events and situations from her past come to light, and everyone around her learns that she is not just another Alpha werewolf, but a very rare and powerful one instead. As Rylee struggles with her new identity, both her past and Wyatt’s come to haunt them and keep them apart at all costs. Not only that, but someone else is also after Rylee for her DNA. Will their love be able to get them through their trials and tribulations? Or will Rylee and Wyatt lose out on their one true love to jealous and greedy third parties?
I'm so happy to have a copy of this book, and I remember when this story was ongoing on Dreame, but now it's a published book. I'm excited for the next book, and I will say this book would be a 4.5 stars just because of the Grammer errors, but it wasn't too bothersome in comparison to other apps to book authors. I'm interested to see where the next book will lead into as I now got a copy of the 2nd book.
Book 1 was amazing i loved the development of Riley as she grew into her role as Luna and the pack acceptance of her looking forward to book 2 once I finish our Gemini wolves and the desert moon series as they both tie into the blue lake storyline.
This was highly entertaining in the way that trashy reality tv is highly entertaining. Is it the best written book I've ever read? no. Where there grammar, spelling, and other mistakes? yes. Was it entertaining anyway? also yes.
So this book started out on a pay-to-read chapter by chapter app. THESE APPS ARE PREDATORY AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND READERS USE THEM. I'm all for paying for books and helping out authors, but unless your book is the second coming of christ, there's no way it's worth over $50 or more.. which is what many books on these types of apps end up going for. a couple bucks a chapter in coins and then the author writes 99 chapters.. that's a lot of cash fleeced from the readers. And let's be clear- there were a TON of spelling and grammar mistakes, full on missing words like "he told to go" instead of "he told her to go".. definitely not worth that type of money.
To be fair, I'm pretty sure I read the older non-officially published version, so maybe she got an editor and the actual print book is better than the epub I got? Who knows.
As for the actually story? It was entertaining. I liked Rylee and her relationship with Wyatt. Lots of ow drama which is fine because the H was utterly smitten with Rylee. Rylee was whiny, but she was also only 18 (and a lot of 18 year olds just out here getting pregnant apparently). Rylee's power was cool. So much drama, but that's what was entertaining. Warning: there is A LOT of slutshaming. Like A LOT. Rylee was SO CLOSE when she ALMOST called Wyatt out- He kept calling his one night stand a slut and an easy lay (despite her being a virgin) and Rylee mentions that she was the exact same way with Wyatt- easy and a virgin. But Wyatt says it's DIFFERENT because she's his MATE and Rylee just... agrees?? Like what?? It's not like Wyatt was a virgin waiting for Rylee, and his sister wasn't a virigin for her mate, but because they are the 'good' girls they don't get labeled as sluts and easy, but the 'bad' girl virgins are? wth? Like I get they were the "villians" but you can portray that without the slutshaming. It's lazy writing in general, but especially when the other characters are clearly living a double standard- sex and nakedness is not taboo in their werewolf culture, so why in the hell is slutshaming and shame in general a thing but only for certain girls? and never boys?
Anyway, I can't say I'd recommend it, but if you like naked werewolves and drama and endless chapters then this could be right up your alley! Maybe just glaze over any writing errors or plot holes you don't like.
I have read a few books by this author, and her imagination for storytelling is AMAZING.
Reac, this book a few years ago after seeing an ad for it on facebook.
it was this very book that pulled me back into the fantasy world and down the rabbit whole of this whole series!
So many different stories start off from this book, and with each book, the writer just gets better.
Orphan child turned slave, who still has a fighting spirit. They way Rylee is written in this book is spot on to how an 18-year-old acts.
Lots of drama but nothing intensional on Rylee or Wyatts part.
certain parts can be a bit confusing, and some parts are repeated, but on dreame, these stories aren't spell checked or even done by an editor it is solely on the writer.
This book started with a good plot, but unfortunately, it tapered off near the end. The grammar was quite poor, which almost made me DNF it multiple times just based on that alone. I did enjoy the characters and the storyline overall, but I felt it was rushed towards the conclusion.
I would rate this 2.5 stars, rounded up to 3. While there were aspects I liked, the execution left much to be desired.
First of all, l would like to say that it was great that this story was about more than two people. That more people were involved. It was great about reading about the different stories within the story itself. And how it all came together having understanding of the big picture as a whole. Great writing!!!!😃🤣👍🏼
I wasn't that into reading e-books or similar things until I stumbled upon My Miracle Luna through a Facebook ad! It had its flaws, but it was interesting, and I absolutely adore Rylee and Wyatt <3 I read it through Dreame and bought all the chapters without a second thought!? If you like werewolf stories about true mates and love with spice, then this is definitely one I recommend checking out.
3.5 stars This should be a 4 star book. I love it... but as a reread I can see how, in parts, the writing seems a little juvenile and there are several mistakes.
This was the first fantasy id ever read and I absolutely loved it. I was hooked straightaway. This will forever be my favourite werewolf/fantasy book..Loved all the characters and the plot.
Great storytelling, enjoyed this book a lot to say it was my first look into Fantasy, the writing was a little bit sloppy but the story made up for it.
