Disappointing ending. The Jack the Ripper part was good and I also only started reading this book as allegedly it was about Jack the Ripper so I'm glad to finally have seen it, but unfortunately with the 3rd volume the worst. I know the manga is completed, but it felt like further production was cancelled rather than it having an open ending like most might think.

There was lots of potential and personally the first volume was my favourite and also the only one who seemed to have potential to be carried on, but the volumes change from themes. From dark to rather action rich (battle scene, where Ruwanda becomes an assasin), to a soft and light-hearted book (mother-son-relationship in volume 3) and back to the dark themes. Even though we went back to the dark themes in volume 4 it was different and not that emotional anymore like for example in volume 1. I think the manga could have been better if it sticked to a plot or would have had a main plot rather than multiple ones.

I disliked the fact how Ivan wasn't aware of how his father was a bad person and put instead the blame to money, instead of facing the truth.
Also, how Macalo's throat was cut open by Ruwanda and she still somehow survived this (not even a scar was on her drawn design)
And lastly, how a police officer immediately shoots at someone instead of telling the person first to put their hands up. As long as the officer didn't got attacked directly or someone else was (the other person was already dead), he has no right to shoot immediately

Overall, the book ending was a disappointment and I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone as there is no consistence whatsoever.

You can’t be good all the time.
This is my favorite manga series for now. But this volume was kinda a disappointment.
I love Ruwanda so much, I care about him and I want the best for him. But this is… was just a throwback.
I don’t hate the characters, I absolutely love them. But the fact that nothing really changed and the character didn’t anything different besides the love stories was really disappointing. And the fact that Ruwanda just stayed kinda the same after all. You don’t have to kill the people he loves to make him think differently…

J'avoue je suis déçu de ce tome, un bon dans le temps qui nous déconnecte de Ruwanda, je m'étais un peu attaché à lui dans le fond.
Comme il dit l'enfer est dans notre tête, mais là l'enfer c'est ce tome. Je ne m'attendais pas à une romance pour Ruwanda, une romance un peu bâcle, et qui ne fait pas vraiment avancé l'intrigue.
Une fin plate, la vie n'est qu'un jeu, mais il est un peu fade votre jeu.

Par contre c'est le tome le moins sordide de la saga

I didnt hate it, but the manga had a disappointing ending, it leans on dramatic scenes, but it didn't end with a bang, it is like to be continued till the mangaka feels like it. though it doesn't have the best art, nor the best dialogue when manga is concerned, it still was captivating, I liked the darkness woven into it, it has a hint of the Gothic black butler, would be cool if there is a mash up Sebastian with Ruwanda, which I can see Ruwanda not ending quite well , come to think of it, what well Sebastian think of the child version of Ruwanda compared to Ciel..

Hmmm, die Idee mit dem älteren Ruwanda in Kombination mit dem Ripper war ganz nett, aber irgendwie fehlte mir hier was. Versteh schon, worauf man hier wohl hinaus wollte, aber der Band hat dann doch ziemlich nachgelassen noch.

Bis Band 4 war die Reihe richtig gut, den Band hier hätte man tatsächlich auch weglassen können.
Nichtsdestotrotz gefällt mir die Reihe sehr, vor allem wegen der atmosphärischen Bilder. 🫶

Moves way too fast. Has a time jump but barely gives time to care about the characters and kills a new important one in a couple chapters. Might be a result of the series being canceled so had to rush an ending. The art is noticeably worse here at points too. Still ok, but never comes close to the heights something like this could have gotten to.

It was a fine ending for the manga. Endings don't have to be dramatic to be good. I liked getting to know Ruwanda and I hope he'll have some sort of redemption in the future. I want him to have a good and peaceful life.

I really liked the series at first, but I feel with the last three books the pacing was too fast and there was a lot of potential for the story and its characters. For example, I feel that some of the characters in book three weren’t used as much as they could have been. But overall it’s a good series

Naja, schon etwas enttäuscht über das Ende...
Der part mit Jack the Ripper war gut aber wie es zu Ende ging war einfach langweilig und zu schnell....
(Aber davon mal abgesehen das Cover erinnert mich übels an Gallerian aus "Judgment of corruption"👀 das gibt nen halben Stern mehr)

I don't know what it is, this was very similar to the rest of the volumes but also I felt it was quite different, and I can't quite put my finger on why. Although I will say I enjoyed this one and am curious to see how the series moves on from here.

the fact this manga was discontinued and got a rushed ending is so disappointing... it had so much potential and the art was really good. I really hope they take it back in the future and decide to continue it. to be honest, I would've liked to see some more ruwanda and macalo, idc.

I’m gonna give this a four because I like Ruwanda and the art so much but I’m honestly not sure this needed to be a thing. I loved a lot of aspects of this but as whole it feels kinda unnecessary.

It was fine, but definitely the most boring volume, and I was quite disappointed in the ending.
