Los Angeles, 1890. 16-year-old Zella Doyle and her twin brother Alroy are founding members of the League of the Daring - a secret society of teenage futurists hoping to build the foundations of a brighter new society.
However, in their last adventure, that spirit of daring nearly took Zella and her friends a step too far. Betrayed by their mentor, Doc Grimes, the League not only barely escaped with their lives - they also witnessed their friend Elijah being hurled back in time in one of Doc Grime’s inventions - seemingly lost forever.
Now, as Zella struggles with the trauma of what she witnessed, a new threat emerges. A rogue faction of time travelers have arrived in Los Angeles determined to eliminate anybody who threatens their twisted version of the timeline, no matter the consequences.
This means the League of the Daring must live up to their name like never before - with Zella and her friends risking everything to defeat the time travelers, protect the timeline, and rescue Elijah from a dark and twisted potential future.
The most surprising thing about me is that I've lived in the jungles of South America. When I casually mention that people are shocked. I'm not sure why because that fact seems natural to me.
Less interesting is that I was born and raised in California, have traveled and lived in South America, and have lived in several states and visited 38 states.
What all that means is I'm pretty opened minded and like new experiences.
FYI: most authors are sort of boring. We spend most of our time alone, sitting at a computer writing or reading. I'm not an exception.
Here are the tedious details:
I write young adult, science fiction, fantasy stories with a touch of adventure and mystery. I read almost anything as long as there's a good story. I drink too much coffee. I play Word of Warcraft for fun and relaxation.
