About the author

JaNay Brown-Wood, PhD is an award-winning children’s author, educator, and scholar. Beautifully told for a younger reader

I loved the gorgeous illustration as well as the way the book mentioned how Simone was diagnosed with ADHD and her speaking out against those who abused her and her teammates.
