Though I finished it in record time, it left me wanting more......And, thankfully, there is a sequel in waiting I am saving space on my bookshelf for..
I only purchased this book because it was written by a former San Jose, Ca police officer (my hometown), my son is a police officer, and I was told that the book accurately describes the work of a police officer, detective, and CSI while solving a serial murder case in Nashville (a place which I love). ***Warning***. This book contains graphic sexual violence. I was unsure how to rate the book- it started off reminding me how my 6th graders (former teacher) would write when learning how to use adjectives. The book did get much better, but I was surprised how the victims were killed. I read the book to the end, it was good. The rising action and ending was very climatic. In the end, other than the violence, the book was pretty decent. A couple of editing errors ( language arts teacher), but I did purchase the second book, as I always support our blue families.
