When two or more of my kids are able to stay engaged with a book I read aloud to them by and by, as a chapter or two over their meal-times; well, let's just say that's no easy feat! Such a book is well deserving of a 5 star rating.

Of course, with a phrase like, "Keep the Faith and Milk the Cow," (which appears several times within this book's pages), how can fault be found and one not like it?

"Katie and the Lemon Tree": A book that showcases patience, perseverance, faith, longing, ingenuity, and love. My voice wavered with emotion of sadness in parts; however, this is a feel good story overall.

It's appropriate for all ages; but, perhaps, most beneficial for those 8 years of age on up.

A good read, that as an adult, I learned from too! Looking forward to sharing more on MomPro.com soon.
