Incredible! The authors did a great job highlighting Michelle's amazing-ness and it made me want to read more (about her, and about others in the Female Force series--definitely going to keep my eye out). Completely worth it!

My name is Neal Bailey. I wrote this book.

The editors never paid me what I was owed by contract for my work, and continue to republish it without my permission or a proper accounting. It's been fifteen years now that they've been exploiting the work despite my demands to have it removed, in multiple editions, across multiple formats.

The company keeps changing its name to dodge accountability for its practices, and has for decades.

When I told Amazon that the work was in breach of contract, a representative for the company told Amazon that they were honoring my contract, so Amazon keeps it up, so they continue profiting off my work.

Worse, I disavow the work, because I never had proper access to it during its creation.

I keep changing the author name to Alan Smithee, someone keeps changing it back to my name.

When I threatened legal action, the editor laughed at me over email and mocked me.

I was sent a bill for services rendered when I persisted. A BILL. For SERVICES. RENDERED.

To support this company or any of its many new names is to support thieves.

Also, the books suck because there was no communication to speak of between author and artist as they were created. So there's also that.

Save your money for better publications, reputable publishers, or even better, buy one of my other books and help make up for what these people are continuing to do with work I don't even claim.

Thanks.
