Baptist minister and amateur sleuth, Regina Grant, fights injustice by solving crimes with boldness, grit, and faith, all while being a pastor and looking for a man. In the first installment of the Regina Grant Mysteries: a controversial faith leader is murdered, the only witness goes missing, and Regina jumps off a train. Will she find the witness and solve the murder, all before she has to preach?
A wonderful read about a likable character. Love how the author makes it cool to be a church girl and demonstrates how diverse women in ministry can be. A must-read.
Such a fun read-I laughed often!! Regina, a fun and perhaps unorthodox preacher woman. I look forward to reading other books from this series, and hope the author can maintain her momentum. Lady Pastor was a kind and caring preacher, who seems to find herself in the midst of some kind of trouble often. She’s not a fearful pastor, but I also sense she might be interested in having her own boyfriend. Maybe, or maybe not?
My first time reading this author. I enjoyed this book. It has a different twist. A single female Baptist pastor who turns sleuth. She's also looking for a boyfriend too. Cute short read with a lot of action. I'm going to read book 2.
It's been a while since I've had so much fun reading a book! I know the main character Regina instantly, and she's someone I could spend all my time with! Ngozi T. Robinson's writing is just like her main character: Sassy, smart, and witty, with plot twists and romantic turns. It's a great read and re-read. Can't wait for more Regina mysteries!!
