This was a great sequel to Book 1. The world building is fabulous. Character development and evolution is terrific. I am fully engaged and enjoying this series. Many thanks to the author for the entertainment and escapism.
Interesting storyline. A couple of the characters have grown on me, but it does feel like a bit of a chore to read at times. Still, it rolls along quite nicely. Not 100% sure if I'll read the next one, but I probably will, just to finish it off. I really hope it's only a trilogy. I think dragging it more would be burdensome to wade through.
A lot of different story lines to keep track off. Found it harder to keep my focus compared to book 1. Towards the end, more action and tension in the storyline, which helped to keep me hooked.
